A fire that broke out at a junkyard and dry waste collection centre near Nagarbhavi late on Tuesday night was largely ignored by most people. But actor-director Kishan who noticed it informed the police and fire department. The fire went on for nearly a hour before help arrived. Kishan displayed a sense of civic responsibility in the matter.

The fire incident did not cause physical injury to any person but loss of property could not be prevented by the fire department.
