Soundarya Rajinikanth has shown interest in producing a Kannada film. She has contacted Santhosh Anandram, director of Mr & Mrs Ramachari about it and asked him to helm the project. The Kannada film under her Ocher Productions could start later this year as Santhosh has another commitment before that. Soundarya worked as designer in many films before direction Kochadaiyaan, India's first motion capture film.

The success of Ramachari, which has reportedly collected more than Rs 25 crore already, has opened up the potential of Kannada films and it is expected that corporate film makers will now jump in to produce films here.
