Director Giriraj is in full awe of actor Puneeth Rajkumar. Puneeth has acted in a prominent role in Giriraj's 'Mythri' which is all set to release on the 20th of February across Karnataka. 'I didn't expect Puneeth would act in our film. I really wanted an actor of Puneeth's calibre to act in the film, but I was quite apprehensive whether Puneeth would act in the film because he is a commercial actor and ours is a off beat film.

But Puneeth surprised us by giving a nod to act in the film. Earlier, we had planned an introduction song for Puneeth in the film, but he turned it out saying that it is against the concept of the film and such an introduction song is not necessary for the film. Puneeth requested us not to dilute the content of the film and we dropped the song' says Giriraj.

Giriraj has much expectations about the film. 'I am quite positive about the film. I don't think I will disappoint the audience. The worst review that I would get for the film from the audience is an okay' says Giriraj.
