The Fourth Dr Raj Cup cricket tournament has shifted to Bengaluru after two days of entertaining cricket at Hassan. On Saturday and Sunday Sandalwood stars in eight teams played the matches. Some of the matches are pending which will be played in Bengaluru this weekend after which the final will be held in Malaysia on December 7.

Top stars like Puneeth Rajkumar, Duniya Vijay, Srinagar Kitty and Rakshit Shetty participated. There were also non-playing stars like Anitha Bhat and Master Snehit who came to the stadium to cheer the players. The players consisted of actors and technicians from Sandalwood.

Rajesh Brahamavar, who heads the new film workers union did a splendid job in single-handedly organising the mega event. Like in the previous events he managed to get not only the stars together but also organised the overall event in a grand manner. The local unit of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike had joined hands with Brahamavar.

In the last four years the tournament has grown from strength to strength. Starting in Bengaluru in the first edition, the tournament was in succeeding years played in Davangere and Hubballi. The latest edition last weekend in Hassan was a crown in the cap.
