The ongoing trend of good content oriented films continues with Shivaji Surathkal, starring the multi-talented Ramesh Aravind in a brand new avatar as an investigating officer or as a detective on the line of world's most popular fictional detective - Sherlock Holmes.

Ramesh Aravind reaches another milestone in his long drawn acting career, as this one marks his 101th film as an actor in a leading role. As the title itself suggests that the suspense thriller revolves around Ranagiri, a fictional place in the movie and the mystery surrounding it.

Inspired by the works of Agatha Christie and the creator of Sherlock Holmes's character, director Akash Srivatsa has knitted his own version of a popular detective novel. In here, the murder mystery is set in a real estate where the son of an influential home minister is found dead, and later declared murdered.

In a first of its kind role for Ramesh Aravind, as detective, the mystery gets murkier with multiple suspects and another plot around his past which keeps haunting the officer even as he investigates the murder.

At his usual best, it is a treat to watch the brilliance of Ramesh Aravind on display. In addition to the gripping suspense, it is Judah Sandy's background score which elevates the experience of horror murder suspense.

Radhika Chetan though in a limited role has a stronger presence and so is the multiple characters which falls into its place in accordance to the script and the tale, the essence of any successful whodunit thrillers.

Will the real killer be found or is the work of unnatural elements? Watch Ramesh Aravind at his finest as a detective, which guarantees for a thrilling experience.
