The Karnataka Film Chamber Of Commerce (KFCC) has urged the State Government to allow the post production process of Kannada films which have already wrapped up the shooting process prior to nationwide lockdown announced due to Coronavirus outbreak.

The premier film body represented by its President D R Jairaj, has submitted the requisition to Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, seeking directions to permit the post production activities such as editing, dubbing, graphic works inside the studios.

The representation states that producers, distributors and exhibitors have invested a lot in films which are readying for release. It adds assuring that the post production process requires no outdoor activities and safe distance shall be adhered compulsorily. It also says that only few workers are required for the same.
