Popular actor turned politician B C Patil, Agriculture Minister has kept his words to help the members of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, who are facing hardships during lockdown period following Coronavirus outbreak.
The minister had assured to lend his hand during his last visit to distribute food kits to the media persons along with Food and Civil Supplies Minister Gopalaiah. It is when Former KFCC president Sa Ra Govindu had requested Mr. Patil to extend the facilities to the members of KFCC.
Acting on his words, Mr. Patil had arranged for distribution of 25 Kgs of rice bags each to the members. He along with Mr Gopalaiah saw to it that the rice bags were handed over to the KFCC.
Sa Ra Govindu and KFCC president Jairaj expressed their gratitude to the two ministers for their timely help for the KFCC members.
Meanwhile, Mr. Patil said that it was Sa Ra. Govindu and Mr. K M Veeresh who had approached him to help the media persons while also requesting to extend the same to the KFCC members.
Mr. Patil who started his career as a police officer and then as an actor is known after his hit film 'Kourava'. "After making Kourava, I was left with no money and not even Rs 50 in my pocket and now it feels great that I could be of some help to the KFCC. If anybody is in trouble let them take ," Mr Patil signs off.
