Regional censor officer Mrs Natasha Dsouza should be removed from the post of Regional censor officer and a new officer who knows Kannada and Kannada films should be appointed says KFCC president Sa Ra Govindu.

Speaking to Chitraloka Sa Ra Govindu said the current officer does not know the language and culture. Moreover she is not aware about KFCC and its work. "Film Censor is a very sensitive issue. For the recent movie Kiragurina Gayyaligalu there was problem because of this officer. For the movie Ajji Lehya she has given the censor certificate even though it came from a different organization not ours. Our organization KFCC is 82 years old and we have all the records. We are communicating with the national and state governments about it. Ajji Lehya movie title was approved by KFCC. How can it be approved by Censor when someone else sent it?

When she took over as regional censor officer, I had invited her to the chamber. But she never responded. Only time she came to KFCC was during Gayyaligalu problem," he said.
