Veteran producer and distributor Alluri Reddappa Raju known as AR Raju, popularly known in the Kannada film industry as Ajantha Raju, is no more. He was in hospital from last few days after suffering a massive heart attack.

The 75-year-old AR Raju was a Phalke Academy award winner in 2009. He has produced 27 Kannada Movies and was very close to Dr Vishnuvardhan and had produced many of his movies. Dr Vishnuvardhan first double role movie Vijay Vikrama, Sahodarara Savaal are produced by AR Raju
