Ace cinematographer Sundarnath Suvarna who was lying low for a while expired on Tuesday morning at his residence in Bangalore. Sundarnath Suvarna was drawn towards photography and cinematography during his childhood and Suvarna without learning photography professionally learnt it by passion and went on to become the most wanted cinematographer in Kannada in the 80s and 90s.
Sundarnath Suvarna made his debut as a cinematographer through Kashinath's 'Aparoopatha Athithigalu' and went on to be the cinematographer for more than 100 films including 'Nammoora Mandara Hoove', 'Gandugali Kumararama', 'Indradanush', 'Rajakiya', 'Thamassu', 'Anjadiru' and other films. He turned producer and director with 'Arambha' and went on to produce films like 'Halliyadarenu Shiva' starring Kumar Govind and others. He directed films like 'Agni Parva', 'Nee Nanna Daiva', 'Tiger Gangu', 'Khiladi Thatha' and others.
