Music composer Venkatesh aka Pampa died after suffering a heart attack last night. He was hospitalised for his kidney failure at the Sugana Hospital . Pampa scored music for two films two decades ago but later stayed away from films.

He was the music teacher for Keerthi, Vishnuvardhan's daughter.  In the last several years since he kept away from films, Sandalwood had almost forgotten him.

Recently he had started a police website.
