Director Shashank will get a new car, most probably an Audi, soon. Actor Ajai Rao is likely to gift him the new car, sources say. Shashank has been driving a Maruti Swift Dzire car for the last seven years and surprisingly has managed to clock only 40,000 kilometres in it.

Most of Shashank's producers are from Rajajinagar-Basaveshwarnagar areas and he hardly had the need to travel far. The only times he has used the car is to visit his parents are take them around. Therefore in seven years he has used the Swift only for 40,000 kilometres.

But his upgrade to a luxury car is happening courtesy his actor-friend Ajai Rao sources told. Their latest film together Krishna-Leela is releasing next Friday. The two hit jackpot a couple of years ago with Krishnan Love Story. A new car is now set to furhter fasten their bond.
