Crazy Star V Ravichandran sent several first look stills of his new film Apoorva to Chitraloka. Apoorva is Ravichandran's most ambitious film in years as he returns to direction and his showman image with gusto.

The film has only two main characters, one of Ravichandran playing a 61-year-old and another of new comer Apoorva who plays a 19-year-old. Apoorva's face was not fully revealed till now. The film is unique as most of it takes place in a lift. Ravichandran has used a minimalist style in the making of the film and it would be unlike any of the previous films he has directed.

The Puttanna Kanagal Award director is re-fashioning the film making process and procedures with Apoorva. The unusual love story portrayed in the film has already created a sensation in the industry and among the fans who are now eagerly awaiting for the audio release. After 25 years Lahari and Eshwari Productions have joined hands for the audio launch.
