The first press meet of Ravi R Garani produced film Namaste Madam is running into controversy. The film's press conference is scheduled for Saturday evening at the Citadel Hotel in Bangalore.

Hours before the event, one of the two leading ladies, Nikesha Patel, has vented her ire. She was called to the press meet at the last moment which she believes was to prevent her from coming.

Nikesha has announced on her micro blogging site that she has 'officially washed her hands off' the project and will not be involved in promoting the film. Earlier she said that if people think she was being unprofessional by not attending the press conference, it was because she was not even called about it.

The film apart from Nikesha has Srinagara Kitty and Ragini Dwivedi as the other lead actors. It is directed by R Raghuraj.
