The trailer of Komal Kumar and Priyamani starrer new film "Kathe Chitrakathe Nirdeshana Puttanna" seems to be aimed at stirring controversy. The film makes direct and indirect references to many current film directors including Upendra and Jogi Prem. Though a comedy attempt, there is no denying that the film makes fun of all concerned.

The film also makes pointed reference to Sudeep's Telugu film Eega. It also comments about Yash making most of his films with Producer Jayanna.

The film is about an aspiring director who goes through several hurdles before fulfilling his dream. Being a contemporary film about the film industry the reference to current actors and directors was expected. But it is to be seen how these people accept it.
