Will there be a third season of the celebrity reality show Bigg Boss this year? If so on which channel. Though a very popular show in the first two years the third season is not even on the radar. Here is why.

Season one of Kannada Bigg Boss was done by ETV Kannada. It stated on 24 March 2013 and the finale was on 30th June 2013. Vijaya Raghavendra was the winner of the first edition.  Season 2 shifted to Suvarna TV. It started on 29th June 2014 and ended on 5th October 2014. Akul Balaji was the winner. Sudeep was the host for both the seasons on two different channels.

In Kannada television now only four channels can afford to do a big show like Bigg Boss. Till now Udaya TV and Zee TV have never ventured into the Bigg Boss business. ETV has done Bigg Boss and Suvarna has done done both Kannadada Kotyadipathi and Bigg Boss.

According to the sources till now no channel has made the move for hosting Bigg Boss 3. Since ETV and Suvarna lost heavy money with this programme they are unlikely to venture again. Viewership for the programme was very good both the seasons but financially it is not viable fire the Kannada market insiders say.

For any channel which wants to telecast the show a minimum pre shooting time of three months is required for preparations. In that case if some channel decides to do the show next week then the Season 3 can be started only in August said the sources.

Moreover both the seasons got popular because of the host Kiccha Sudeepa. But will Sudeep be free even if some channel decides? Sudeep has completed his commitment to Ranna. He will start shooting for KS Ravikumar's Kannada-Tamil film in June. There are three more films to follow after that including those with Prakash (Leader) and Krishna (Hebbuli).

It will be a Herculean task to replace Sudeep. So season three of Bigg Boss may never happen.

They are back! Howdu Swami! It’s not surprising that in the history of television’s entertainment, BIGG BOSS which stands as one of the biggest Reality show with highest rating and much talked controversial hit show. And they are back with season 3 In Kannada in July end said the sources. We all are aware; the first two seasons were successfully hosted by Superstar Kannada Actor Kiccha Sudeep. Now it is believed and confirmed by Actor himself that he will be hosting the Third season as well.

The show has, at times, proved to be a great ratings churner with the viewership at a constant high since the appointment of Actor Sudeep as the main presenter. The Season 1 and 2 have each topped the ratings charts for their respective channels. Basically Bigg Boss is a television reality show broadcast on Colors channel in India. It follows the Big Brother format, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands. Two years ago it was brought to Kannada version and the first season was successfully produced by ETV Kannada channel. And the second season was done by Suvarna Entertainment channel. Since now the Colors Channel is merged with Etv Kannada then and now known as Colors kannada it is not surprising that they will be very soon starting the Third season of the most popular Reality TV Series in India.

Since the Superstar Sudeep will be seen as the host for the third time, it is expected to be much more entertaining than the earlier two versions. Buzz is that this time channel is constantly working under highly well organized system to place much more controversially famous celebrity contestants. . The housemates (Housemates) in the Indian version are primarily celebrities with the exception of one who is a non-celebrity selected via auditions. Housemates are overseen by a mysterious person known as 'Bigg Boss', whose only presence in the house is through his voice. And of course now we all are curious to know about the mysterious housemates and the main attraction BIGG BOSS House, which is built every season for live in a purpose and is isolated from the rest of the world!

Last week four contestants including Rehaman, Neha, Pooja Gandhi and Tsunami Kitty were nominated for elimination at the 'Big Boss' out of which Pooja Gandhi was eliminated. Though Pooja Gandhi was eliminated, she has not come back, instead is in a secret room in the 'Big Boss' house itself. She will be making a surprise entry to the house again this week.

Meanwhile, four candidates have been nominated for elimination again this week. Tsunami Kitty who has been a regular at the elimination rounds in 'Big Boss' has been nominated for elimination along with Neha, Rehaman and Master Anand. Of the four who will be eliminated and who will be coming instead of them is yet to be seen in the following week.

Huchcha Venkat the contestant who was at the centre of all activities in Bigg Boss season three is out of Bigg Boss. He will be eliminated from the contestant today. Though he was the most popular contestant, his elimination was not surprising. He made a big mistake by assaulting another contestant Ravi Moorur one day earlier. This incident has happened in front of Sudeep

This is the first time a contestant has been thrown out for violence. the other contestants were not really happy with the eccentric behaviour of Venkat all these days.

Is Huccha Venkat really out of Bigg Boss or he is out of the house for one or two days has to be seen!

Well known comedian Mitra has been out of Bigg boss3 house. Mitra who had entered the bigg boss house through wild card just three weeks back is out of the Bigg Boss today. This week five contestants including Mitra, Chandan, Ayyappa, Krithika and Rehman were nominated for the elimination. However, Rehman, Ayyappa, Krithika and Chandan got saved by the audience, hereby eliminating Mitra from the show.

Mitra out this time is not a surprise for many since Mitra is running a resort and he has a huge job for the New Year Preparation!

First to come out of Bigg boss3 was Madhuri Itagi followed by Jayashri, Huchcha Venkat, Ravi Mooroor, Nethra.

Actress Neha Gowda has been eliminated from the Bigg Boss 3 house. Four contestants Tsunami Kitty, Neha, Rehaman and Anand were in the elimination list. Last week Rehaman, Neha, Pooja Gandhi and Tsunami Kitty were nominated for elimination but Pooja Gandhi was eliminated and later she was kept in the secret room to observe other contestants activities in the house. Pooja entered back to room on Friday.

Earlier, Madhuri Itagi, Jayashri, Huchcha Venkat and Ravi Mooroor were eliminated from the third season of the 'Bigg Boss'

Tsunami Kitty who has has the habit of getting nominated regularly has been appointed as Captain of the house this week and he will be safe for the next week. Interesting thing is in the history of Bigg Boss only Tsunami Kitty has been nominated six times which will be a record!

As predicted by Chitraloka, Pooja Gandhi is back inside the Bigg Boss house. She was eliminated and even came on the stage but instead of being sent to her real home she was sent back to the Bigg Boss house.

The Mungaru Male actress therefore will be inside for some more time at least.

Mungaru Male actress Pooja Gandhi has been eliminated from the Bigg Boss season 3. Pooja Gandhi eliminating was expected from the Friday episode shown on the TV. Other contestants were telling Pooja they will do the farewell party to her on Saturday. For this Pooja was silent.

first Contestant to come out of Bigg Boss was Madhuri followed by dancer Jayashree and Huccha Venkat.

Pooja Gandhi elimination was surprising for Pooja Gandhi family members. Pooja father Mr. Pavan had gone to Bigg boss location today morning to give the cloths and necessary things passed to Pooja.

Sources said till chitraloka filing this story Pooja parents were staying at their home watching Bigg Boss!

This week Kitty, Rehaman, Neha and Pooja Gandhi were nominated for elimination and of the four Pooja Gandhi has been eliminated from 'Big Boss'. But sources say pooja will be sent back to home!

Actor -director Sudeep has signed a 20 plus crore deal to host the next five seasons of the hugely popular reality show 'Big Boss' to be aired in Colors Kannada from this year end. The first two seasons of the 'Big Boss' was aired in ETV Kannada and Suvarna respectively and from this year onwards Colors Kannada has bagged the rights to air the reality show for the next five years and Sudeep will be hosting the show for the next five years. He has been paid 20 plus crores to host the show which is said to be the first of its kind in Kannada television.

The previous two seasons were shot in a studio in Lonavala and from this year onwards the programme will be shot in a specially erected set in Innovative Film City in Bidadi.

The biggest television show in Kannada, Bigg Boss is back. Pre-production work has begun on the third season of the show. The show's biggest attraction - its host will once again be Sudeep. The star hosted the celebrity show in the first two seasons on Suvarna and ETV. He won much appreciation for handling the show. Sudeep also acknowledged that the show gave him positive reach to the audience.

The huge budget of the show and its logistical complexity put a shadow on its continuing to the third season. But now it is confirmed that Colors Kannada will produce and telecast the third season. As it is unimaginable to have the show without Sudeep the star has once again been convinced to be a part of it. The show is likely to be telecast only later this year.

Actor-director Upendra said he has immensely liked the concept of 'Bigg Boss' and if given a chance he would like to participate in the show. Upendra was the guest at the Super Sunday with Sudeep programme which is a part of 'Bigg Boss'. Participating as a guest, Upendra said he would like to participate in the show.

'I have been seeing the show and I like the concept of the show. The programme is just like real live and 'Bigg Boss' plays the role of God. I cannot participate now due to various commitments. If I get a chance I might participate in the programme' said Upendra.
