Rajendra Singh Babu's 'Antha' starring Ambarish is all set to be released once again in new technology. The will be released in 7.1 Dolby Digital Sound soon.

'Antha' was released almost 38 years back. The film was a super hit and was re-released many a times. Now the film will be released with new sound and technology.

'Antha' stars Ambarish in double roles. One is of Inspector Susheel Kumar, while the other was the most famous gangster Kanwar Lal. Lakshmi, Jayamala, Vajramuni, Prabhakar, Sundar Krishna Aras, Pandaribai, Lakshman and others play prominent roles in the film.

The iconic film Antha that launched Ambareesh as the Rebel Star will be released in theatres after 30 years this month. The film will be released on May 30. After Om this is another old film that has been remastered in digital 5.1 music. The film made Ambareesh a big star in the industry and was his first hit as a solo hero. The film was directed by Rajendra Singh Babu who is now chairman of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy.

The film will be released in only 63 theatres to commemorate the 63rd birthday of Ambareesh.
