The trailer of Shivarajakumar starrer 'Rustom' is was released through the You Tube channel of Anand Audio at 8.45 today morning. Shivarajakumar's dialogue, 'arrest means allergy, encounter means energy' has become a huge hit among the viewers. With seven hours of the trailer being uploaded, the trailer has witnessed more than 2.5 lakh views 

The shooting for 'Rustom' is complete and the film is in the post-production stage. The team is gearing up to release the film in the month of May.

'Rustom' stars Shivarajakumar, Shraddha Srinath, Mayuri, Vivek Oberoi and others in prominent roles. Mahendra Simha is the cinematographer, while Anup Seelin is the music director.  The film is being produced by Jayanna under Jayanna Combines banner.

The KFCC has called for a pressmeet today evening at 5.30 regarding Mastigudi movie. In todays press meet Mastigudi team producer Sunder, Actor Duniya Vijay, stunt director Raviverma and director Nagashekara will be present.

On 7th November when Mastigudi was shooting in Tippagondanahalli reservoir two stuntmens Anil and Uday met with a tragic accident and expired. After this incident Sunder, Ravi verma, Nagashekara and art assistant was arrested by police and all got bail and came out.

Regarding this incident KFCC has ordered Vijay, Nagashekara and Raviverma not to work in the film industry till further decision.

What will be the decision today is to be seen.

Director Nagashekar and stunt director Ravi Verma have been granted bail by the Karnataka High Court. They were in custody after being arrested for the deaths of actors Anil Kumar and Uday in the Mastigudi shooting tragedy on November 7.

The police had filed a case for negligence causing death and booked the film makers including the producer. Ravi Verma and Nagashekar had surrendered onNovember 12. They were in judicial custody for more than a month. The local court in Ramanagara had denied them bail earlier. The producer of the film Sundar is still awaiting bail.

The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has issued a firm order that director Nagashekhar, stunt master Ravi Verma and actor Duniya Vijay, must not be given any work until further orders.

The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce had held a meeting with all associations of the Kannada film industry. There it was decided unanimously that these three people in the 'Mastigudi' case must not be given work in Kannada film industry or any other industry.

After a detailed meeting with other associations, 'after the meeting it has been decided unanimously that they must not be given any work. Firstly, we would like to talk to these three and collect their statements. After studying the statements, we will be taking further action. Before that nagashekar, ravi verma and duniya vijay must not work' said Sa Ra Govindu.

Stunt master Ravi Verma has told the Karnataka High Court that he was not the one who directed the helicopter stunt sequence that resulted in the deaths of actors Anil and Uday. He got bail from the high court on December 15.

In the order copy the court has recorded the submission made by his advocate which says, "Learned counsel for the 2nd petitioner submits that the 2nd petitioner is a stunt Director. A stunt Director will direct the stunt scenes only. In the present case, jump of the stunt actors from the Helicopter to the water was not at his direction. It is sheer accidental death. The stunt actors who are majors had consented to jump from the Helicopter, but after fall, could not swim. Enough arrangement was made to meet the casualty. Unfortunately, the boat which was kept ready at the spot did not start and the swimmers could not reach the deceased persons in time, though they were able to rescue the Hero."

The shooting for Shivarajakumar's new film 'Rustom' which is being directed by choreographer turned director Ravi Verma is in progress and actor RJ Rohith has joined the team as an actor.

Rohith who had earlier acted in 'Karva' and 'Bakasura' is acting in 'Rustom' and he is playing the role of a police officer in the film.

'Rustom' is being produced by Jayanna Combines banner and this is Shivarajakumar's third film for the same production company after 'Bangara - S/O Bangarada Manushya' and 'Mufti'. The film stars Shivarajakumar, Shraddha Srinath, Mayuri and others in prominent roles. Mahendra Simha is the cinematographer, while Anup Seelin is the music director.

Satish Neenasam who had completed the shooting of an action sequence for 'Rocket' in Madikeri last month has completed yet another fight recently. The fight was composed by acclaimed stunt director Raviverma. Director Jagadish terms the fight as an high octane action sequence under the scorching sun.

With 90% of the shooting finished, Satish Neenasam and the team of 'Rocket' is gearing up to shoot four songs for the film. Already the team is busy erecting a set for a song and the shooting will be held in the coming week.

'Rocket' is being produced by Satish Neenasam himself under the Satish Picture House. Debutante Jagadish is directing this film. Poornachandra Tejaswi is the music director. The shooting has been completed in Bangalore, Coorg and other places. Apart from Satish Neenasam and heroine Aishani Shetty, Padmaja Rao, Ashwath Neenasam, Nagendra Shah, Achyuth Kumar, Ashwini Gowda, Rashri Ponnappa and others are also a part of star cast.

Dr Rajkumar used to address producers as "Namma annadataru". Yes. Without producers investing money there cannot be any films made. And it also made sense as producing a film gave employment to hundreds of people and fed their families. 

At present in a given year more than 120 Kannada films are getting released. Hardly 8-10% producers get back the money they invest and many have lost their personal properties or literally come to the roads. 

If anything good happens the entire film team will takes credit. If a producer makes money in one movie then he will do produce more movies. But what about the producers who have lost the money? Only he is liable for the losses. Not anyone else in the team. 

Curiously if any bad incident happens during shooting the tendency is to blame the producer. Normally movie producers trust the director and team and gives them the responsibility. Producers are hardly found on the sets and not involved in the day to day activities or what is happening on the sets. They are always roaming around arranging the finance to ensure shooting goes on smoothly. It's very rare to see the producers on the set.

Being in the film industry for more than 25 years I have seen many incidents where producers have come and helped their team members whenever there is a crisid or an untoward incident. Still the producers names is not taken as the one who averted a crisis or helped the team.

Sometimes for the sake of money few stuntmen have done their work even though they know there are not fit for that particular shoot. In Rowdy Aliya movie a stuntman had a vision problem which he had not told to others. But he performed his stunts and got injured and was admitted to the hospital. He did not even know who was the producer of the film but was blaming the producer. When I got the news I informed the producer Anand Audio Mohan. Hearing the news Mohan came to the hospital and paid all the hospital bills along with extra money for his home stay till he recovered.

Why I gave this example is, it's the responsibility of the director and the concerned persons during the shoot to take the responsibility for any incident. The producer can only make arrangements for the shooting permission at some locations. Beyond that all the technical expertise comes from the crew. The producer is not a shooting expert. 

Now it's left to the KFCC, Okkutta (Workers Federation) and the Stuntmen association to take action against Ravi Verma for causing death of two persons.

ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 24ಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿತ್ರ ಸೆಟ್ಟೇರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅದೇ ದಿನ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಟೀಸರ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಹೊರಬರಲಿದೆ. ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದ ಸುದ್ದಿ, ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುವುದು ರುಸ್ತುಂ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಸ್ಪೆಷಾಲಿಟಿ.

ರುಸ್ತುಂ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವೇಕ್ ಒಬೇರಾಯ್ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಲು ಒಪ್ಪಿರುವ ಸುದ್ದಿಯ ಜೊತೆ ಜೊತೆಗೇ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಬ್ರೇಕಿಂಗ್ ನ್ಯೂಸ್ ರುಸ್ತುಂ ತಂಡದಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊರಬಂದಿದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಶಿವಮಣಿ ವಿಲನ್ ಆಗಿ ನಟಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರಂತೆ.

ಶಿವಮಣಿ, ಕನ್ನಡದ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರು. ವಿಶೇಷವೆಂದರೆ, ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಅಶೋಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿವಸೈನ್ಯ ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದವರು. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ರುಸ್ತುಂ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ರವಿವರ್ಮ, ಶಿವಮಣಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಹಸ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮಾಡಿರುವವರು. 

ಈಗ ತಾವೇ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದ ನಾಯಕನ ಎದುರು, ಖಳನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸೋಕೆ ಶಿವಮಣಿ ರೆಡಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹೊಸ ಚಿತ್ರ ರುಸ್ತುಂಗೆ ಖಳನಾಯಕನ ಹುಡುಕಾಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ರವಿವರ್ಮಾ. ರವಿವರ್ಮಾ, ಬಾಲಿವುಡ್‍ನಲ್ಲೂ ಹೆಸರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಸಾಹಸ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಬಳಸಿ, ಬಾಲಿವುಡ್‍ನ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲಾವಿದನನ್ನೇ ಖಳನಾಯಕನ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರಲು ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು.

ಖಳನ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅನಿಲ್ ಕಪೂರ್, ಸಂಜಯ್ ದತ್, ಸುನಿಲ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಮನೋಜ್ ಬಾಜ್‍ಪೇಯಿ ಮೊದಲಾದವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿದ್ದೆವು. ಆದರೆ, ಕಥೆ ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟರು, ಡೇಟ್ಸ್ ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಖಳನಾಯಕನ ಪಾತ್ರ ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ತೆಲುಗು, ತಮಿಳು ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಖಳನಟರನ್ನೂ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಸದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಫೈನಲ್ ಆಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ರವಿವರ್ಮಾ.
