Recently, there was a news that Yash's new film 'My Name is Kirataka' has been shelved due to various reasons. However, producer Jayanna has denied the rumors saying that the film has not been shelved, but will be delayed by two years,

Yash's new film 'My Name is Kirataka' which was earlier titled as 'Kirataka 2' was launched in August. The team shot for the film for few days. However, Yash got busy with the release of 'KGF' and the shooting for 'My Name is Kirataka' was stopped. Now 'KGF' has not only been released, but Yash is getting ready for the shooting of the sequel. So, Jayanna has decided to start the film, 'KGF 2' is released, which will happen only after two years.

Anil of 'Rambo 2' has written the script apart from directing the film. Arjun Janya is the music director, while Sudhakar Raj is the cameraman. Actress Nanditha aka Shwetha was the heroine.

ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಜಯಣ್ಣ ತಾವು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲವಂತೆ. ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಮುಗಿಯಿತು. ಇಡೀ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಬಿಟ್ಸ್‍ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಆ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಸಾಹೇಬ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರೇಕ್ ಆಗಿದೆ.

ಸಾಹೇಬ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಮೂರು ಬಾರಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದಾರಂತೆ ಜಯಣ್ಣ. ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದ ಜೊತೆ, ಮತ್ತೆರಡು ಬಾರಿ ಗೆಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ, ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೇ ಕುಳಿತು ನೋಡಿ ಖುಷಿಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಜಯಣ್ಣ. ಮುಂದೆ, ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ನೋಡಿ ಖುಷಿ ಪಡಬೇಕಾದ ಸರದಿ ಕ್ರೇಜಿ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳದ್ದು.

The much anticipated comedy film Bullet Basya that was earlier scheduled to release on June 26 has been postponed. The reason is not yet clear but as of now the release date is being rescheduled. One reason is the non availability of screens. Ranna and Vajrakaya are still doing well in over 300 screens. They have occupied all the premier theatres.

The scene is not going to change in just one week. Another reason is Telugu film Baahubali. The film will release in Tamil and Telugu in Karnataka and is likely to occupy 200 screens from July 10. Bullet Basya will therefore have suffered pressure just in its second week.

The film team is maintaining that the film will release one or two weeks after June 26. But no decision has been taken so far. 

Hariprasad Jayanna who worked as an associate for Yogaraj Bhatt's films and who also produced 'Panchatantra' is all set to make his debut as a director with a new film called 'Padavipoorva'.

'Padavipoorva' marks the debut of Prithvi Shamanur to Kannada cinema. While, Hariprasad is directing the film, Yogaraj Bhatt and Ravi Shamanur are jointly producing the film. Arjun Janya is the music composer, while Santhosh Rai Pathaje is the cinematographer.

The film is all set to be launched in January 2020.

Gurunanndan's film being directed by Vijay Kiran was launched last month in Bangalore. During the launch of the film, the heroine was not selected and now actress Haripriya has been finalised as the heroine of the film.

Haripriya who has already a few films in hand has signed the film opposite Gurunandan. The actress says she was very much impressed by her role and the story. The film is a comedy with lot of commercial elements in it.

The new untitled film is being directed by Vijay Kiran of 'Singa' fame and produced by Jayanna and Bhogendra under Jayanna Films banner. Apart from Gurunandan and Haripriya, Sadhu Kokila plays a prominent role in the film.

Actor-director Mohan who his looking forward for the release of his new film 'Hello Mama' is happy as Jayanna Films will be releasing the film across Karnataka. The film will be released on the 11th of May.

'Hello Mama' is a comedy film scripted by Mohan himself. Apart from directing the film, Mohan has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film. Chandrashekhar is the producer.

Mohan will be playing a prominent character in the film along with Aravind Rao, Sampratha, Bhumika, Soujanya and others. Prasad Babu is the cameraman.

Raaga movie directed by PC Shekar has created a sensation in the film industry. Now the movie will be distributed f on reputed banner Jayanna Films. Movie is releasing on April 21st. 

'Raaga' is a film about two blind people and the songs of the film were released by the blind. 

'Raaga' is the debut film of Mitra Entertainers and stars Mitra, Bhama, Avinash, Jaijagadish, Ramesh Bhatt, Sadhu Kokila, Rangayana Raghu, 'Kaddipudi' Chandru and others. Roopika and Niranjan Deshpande are see in cameo roles.

'Raaga' is being scripted and directed by P C Shekhar. Vaidi is the cameraman, while Arjun Janya is the music director of the film.

Popular producer and distributor of Kannada films Jayanna has suffered a slip disc. However doctors have confirmed that it is in a very initial stage and will be cured with rest and medication. Jayanna is bed-ridden under rest for the last one week.

But the prolific producer and distributor said he will be back to work in a day or two. The producer along with Bhogendra is readying to release two films next month; Shivarajkumar starrer Bangara S/o Bangarada Manushya and Saheba which is the debut of Manoranjan Ravichandran.  

Actor 'Duniya' Vijay has said that distributor Jayanna should have complained to Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce instead of filing a complaint against him before the CCB police. Earlier, producer-distributor Jayanna had filed a verbal complaint to the CCB police against the actor for threatening him. Jayanna in his complaint had said that Vijay had threatened him on December 30th and 31st last year regarding theater issue. Jayanna had complained to the police on 03rd and the CCB had asked Vijay to appear before them on Monday.

After meeting the police, Vijay talked to the media and said that he indeed had talked to Jayanna regarding the theater issue, but not had threatened him. 'I had called Jayanna, but had not threatened him. It was a simple matter and I called him up as Jayanna is my friend. If he had any complaints, he could have filed a complaint with the KFCC. I don't know why he complained to CCB' said Vijay.

If everything had gone right, then Ramesh Kashyap was supposed to produce Yash starrer Rana. However, there is a major change in the project and now producer-distributor Jayanna has taken over the film and will be producing it.

Yes, earlier it was announced that Ramesh Kashyap will be producing 'Rana' under his Simhadri Productions banner. However, due to various reasons, the film has been taken over by Jayanna and now the film will be made under his banner. A Harsha will be directing the film.

Apart from it, other details about when will the film be launched and who all will be a part of the project are yet to be announced.

Kannada film industry lucky hand Jayanna is distributing the movie Lee starring Sumanth Shailendra in lead. There was a news that Lee will be coming on January 5th and now it has been confirmed for January 13th release. Movie is being written and directed by Srinandan of 'Agraja' fame. 

'Lee' is being produced by Sarathy Satish and others. The film stars Sumanth, Nabha Natesh, Sadhu Kokila, Achyuth Kumar, Rahul Dev and others. Nandakumar is the cameraman, while Anand Rajavikram is the music director.

Looks like Ravichandran's son Manoranjan's debut film 'Ranadheera' is likely to be postponed as Ravichandran is busy with his film 'Apoorva'. Meanwhile, Manoranjan will be acting in a film to be directed by 'Kanti' Bharath and it would be his debut film as a hero.

The shooting for 'Ranadheera' was supposed to start last year itself. However, the film got delayed as Ravichandran started 'Apoorva'. 'Apoorva' also got delayed due to various reasons and Ravichandran is busy completing the post production of the film. As Ravichandran is busy, he has given permission to Jayanna and Bhogendra to produce the debut film of Manoranjan. Ravichandran has liked the story of 'Kanti' Bharath and has given him a chance to direct his son's debut film.

The film is likely to be launched in the month of December.

After producer Kanakapura Srinivas claimed on Saturday evening that he is producing the Shivarajkumar and Puneeth combination film directed by Ravi Verma, the original producer Jayanna says it is not the case.

Producer Jayanna called and said "We have not left that project and we only will be producing this movie. Some people are claiming they are producing the film. It is not true. Already Ravi Verma has started the script and very soon it will be finalised."

Producer Vajreshwari called Chitraloka and said the Shivanna and Puneeth comsirector rqbination movie will be produced by Jayanna only.
