Puneeth's destiny to become God 

It seems like Puneeth Rajkumar was destined to become a God. It is bizarrely strange that his role in Lucky Man fits the bill for what could have been a planned swansong. Puneeth in this role makes all his fans emotional for sure. 

Luckyman is a love story with a difference. It starts with a divorce and goes on to showcase how friendship and love are two different things and both of which needs constant nurturing. 

When Arjun (Darling Krishna) and Anu (Sangeetha Sringeri) apply for divorce after just one year of marriage, God literally intervenes. What looks like an impossible relationship is given a second chance. How does Arjun handle his relationships differently forms the rest of the story. 

The story has originality to keep the audience engaged, good dialogues to keep the proceedings entertaining and depth of characterization to make it believable. For example Rangayana Raghu's character is given a back story (even if not visually) that adds to the understanding of the protagonist. 

The performances of the actors are top class. Darling Krishna is exceptional and this is one of his best performances. Debutant director Nagendra Prasad manages to utilize all the resources at his disposal to the best possible extent. 

Even though this film is a remake, nothing seems to be out of place. It is too good a story and therefore carries an universal appeal. The screenplay is tight and falters a bit only in a couple of scenes. The film has an almost perfect template. This is one of the rare films where so many things fall into the right place. You hardly find anything to complain about. 

Fans of Puneeth Rajkumar can watch the film just for him. The first half of the film is enough to satisfy them. The post interval is a bonus. This is a lucky film for Kannada fans.

Luckyman, which is releasing this week on September 9 has a huge star cast. The film is eagerly awaited by the fans of Appu as this will be last time he will be seen in a song on the big screen. The film starring Darling Krishna, Sangeetha Sringeri and Roshani Prakash also has a big cast.

Puneeth Rajkumar, in the role of God, is in a significant role. Prabhudeva, who is the elder brother of debutant director S Nagendra Prasad will be seen in a song alongside Puneeth Rajkumar.

Apart from the top stars there are a huge number of character artistes which include Nagabhushana, Arya, Sundar Raj, Sadhu Kokila, Rangayana Raghu, Yogaraj Bhat, Sudha Belawadi and Malavika Avinash.

There is good response for the premier shows of Luckyman in Mysuru. The film is releasing across Karnataka on September 9. The premier shows are scheduled for September 8. 

The advance bookings for the premier shows in Woodlands and DRC Cinemas has already commended. The film starring Darling Krishna and directed by Nagendra Prasad is special for the presence of Puneeth Rajkumar in the role of Lord Vishnu. The film also stars Nagabhushana, Sangeetha Sringeri, Roshani Prakash among others. 

Meanwhile the 'Friendship' lyrical video song of the film is releasing this evening at 5.30 PM. The film has music by Vijay Vicky. The song featuring Puneeth Rajkumar and Prabhudeva was released last week and has become a big hit. The Baaro Raja song has notched up over two millions views already. The Friendship Song is also touted to be a special number.

ಡಾರ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಎದುರು 777 ಚಾರ್ಲಿ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯ ಸಂಗೀತಾ ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ, ರೋಶಿನಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ನಾಯಕಿಯರಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪಿಆರ್ ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ ಸುಂದರಂ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್.ಸುಂದರ ಕಾಮರಾಜ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಚಿತ್ರ ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್. ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 9ಕ್ಕೆ ರಿಲೀಸ್.

ನರ್ತಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಹೊಸ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳ ಓಪನಿಂಗ್ ನಿಂತೇ ಹೋಗಿತ್ತು. ಒಂದು ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷ್, ನರ್ತಕಿ, ಸಪ್ನಾ ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರಗಳು ಮೆಜೆಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರದ ಹೃದಯಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಈಗ ಹೃದಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ರಕ್ತ ಅರ್ಥಾತ್ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳೇ ಬರುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದನ್ನು ಈಗ ನಿವಾರಿಸಿರೋದು ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್.

ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೀರೋ ಡಾರ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ. ಪುನೀತ್ ಅತಿಥಿನಟರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸ್ಕ್ರೀನ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಮಾರು 40 ನಿಮಿಷ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಒಬ್ಬ ನಟನಾಗಿ ಪುನೀತ್ ನಟಿಸಿರೋ ಕೊನೆಯ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್. ದೇವರಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪುನೀತ್ ಅವರ ಅದೃಷ್ಟದ ಥಿಯೇಟರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ನರ್ತಕಿ. ನರ್ತಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳೂ ಸೂಪರ್ ಹಿಟ್. ಆ ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲೀಗ ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

400ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರೋ ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್, ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ತೆರೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿರೋದು ವಿಶೇಷ. ಡಾರ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಎದುರು ಸಂಗೀತಾ ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ, ರೋಷನಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ನಾಯಕಿಯರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಾಧು ಕೋಕಿಲ, ನಾಗಭೂಷಣ್, ಸುಧಾ ಬೆಳವಾಡಿ ಇನ್ನುಳಿದ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಅಣ್ಣ ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ ಕೂಡಾ ಸ್ಟೆಪ್ಸ್ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ ಸುಂದರಂ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರ್.ಸುಂದರ ಕಾಮರಾಜ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಚಿತ್ರ ನಾಳೆ ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ತೆರೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಪುನೀತ್ ರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರೇ ಆಗಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂತಹ ಪುನೀತ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೊನೆಯ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರೆ ಅಚ್ಚರಿಯಾಗಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಇದು ಸತ್ಯ. ಅಂದಹಾಗೆ ನಾವ್ ಹೇಳ್ತಿರೋದು ಚೇತನ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಜೇಮ್ಸ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಅದರ ನಂತರ ಅಪ್ಪು, ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ ಜೊತೆ ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಸ್ಟ್ ಆಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅಪ್ಪು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪುಟ್ಟ ವಿಡಿಯೋಗಳು ವೈರಲ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದವು.

ಡಾರ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಹೀರೋ ಆಗಿರುವ ಆ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪ್ಪು ದೇವರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರಂತೆ. ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಚಿತ್ರ ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಮ್ಯಾನ್. ಸಂಗೀತಾ ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ ಮತ್ತು ರೋಹಿಣಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ನಾಯಕಿಯರು. ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪ್ಪು ದೇವರ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರಂತೆ.

ಪುನೀತ್, ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಲೋಹಿತ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಭಗವಂತ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ದೇವಕಿ ಕಂದ.. ಹಾಡು ನೆನಪಿದೆಯಲ್ಲವೇ. ಆ ಹಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣನಾಗಿ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಕದ್ದಿದ್ದ ಬಾಲಕ ಪುನೀತ್. ಬಾಲಕನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಪುನೀತ್ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ.ರಾಜ್ ಇದ್ದರು. ಡಾ.ರಾಜ್ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ಇರುವ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಲಕ ಪುನೀತ್ ನಟಿಸಿರುವ ಏಕೈಕ ಚಿತ್ರ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಭಗವಂತ. ಲೋಕೇಶ್, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಚಿತ್ರವದು.

ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಸಾರಿ ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಅವರ ಫ್ಯಾನ್. ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಮರೆಯಲಾಗದ ಅನುಭವ. ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಜೊತೆ ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಕ್ಕಾಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಯ ಖುಷಿ ಹೇಗಿರುತ್ತೋ.. ನನಗೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ ಜೊತೆ ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದ ಪವರ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಪುನೀತ್ ರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮಾತಾದರೆ, ಅತ್ತ ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ ಕೂಡಾ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.

ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಬಹಳ ಖುಷಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ವಿಚಾರ. ನೀವೊಬ್ಬ ಸಿಹಿಯಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳ ಅದ್ಭುತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ.

ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್, ತಮಿಳಿನ ಓ ಮೈ ಕಡವುಳೆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ರೀಮೇಕ್. ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರ, ಮನಸೆಲ್ಲ ನೀನೆ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ಹೀರೋ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಡೈರೆಕ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಡಾರ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಸಂಗೀತಾ ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಕ್ಸಸ್ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ. ಡಾರ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಸಂಗೀತಾ ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರೋಷನಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಲೀಡ್ ರೋಲ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿರೋ ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುನೀತ್ ಅಭಿನಯವೇ ಹೈಲೈಟ್. ಅತಿಥಿ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಮುಕ್ಕಾಲು ಗಂಟೆ ಇಡೀ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿರುವ ಪುನೀತ್ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರ್ ಲಕ್ಕಿಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರು. ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಮೊದಲ ಚಿತ್ರ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದು ಈಗ ಅಮೆರಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅರಿಝೋನ್, ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಫೋರ್ನಿಯಾ, ಫ್ಲೋರಿಡಾ, ಜಾರ್ಜಿಯಾ, ಮಸಾಚುಸೆಟ್ಸ್, ವಾಷಿಂಗ್ಟನ್, ವರ್ಜಿನಿಯಾ, ನ್ಯೂಯಾರ್ಕ್, ನ್ಯೂಜೆರ್ಸಿ, ಟೆಕ್ಸಾಸ್.. ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಟೆಕ್ಸಾಸ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಥಿಯೇಟರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
