Tara-Devaraj starrer 'Hebbet Ramakka' is all set to be released on the 27th of April across Karnataka.

'Hebbet Ramakka' is being written and directed by N R Nanjundegowda and produced by Puttaraju. Poornachandra Tejaswi is the music composer of the film. 

The film stars Tara, Devaraj, Hanumanthe Gowda and others in prominent roles.

KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu took actress Tara to task right in front of the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today. Govindu was angry and scolded the actress. Here is the reason why Sa Ra Govindu scolded Tara. 

Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah was supposed to inaugurate the 10th Bengaluru International film festival on the evening of 22nd February. Sa Ra Govindu came to know that CM was not coming for the inauguration since the Assembly Session was going on.  Govindu immediately rushed to meet the CM. When he went to the CM's cabin actress and MLC Tara was present in Siddaramaiah's chamber. The CM explained the situation to Sa Ra Govindu and explained his inability to inaugurate the festival even as the meeting was going on.

After the budget Tara had given a statement saying that the Govt has not given anything to the film industry. Govindu asked Tara why she was giving wrong statements when Siddaramaiah government has given so much to the Kannada film Industry. "What else has he to give? Last year he has had given whatever we have asked and this year he has given whatever we have asked." Tara replied to Govindu saying "Namma Ibbara Naduve Tandu Hakabedi." Immediately Sa Ra Govindu told Tara "I am taking about what statement you have given in the media."

Surprised by this Chief minister Siddaramaiah asked Tara whether she has given statements like that. Thara was quiet and could not answer.

The much awaited state film awards for the year 2017 has been announced with ‘Shuddhi’ film directed by Adarsh H Eshwarappa bagging the best film award followed by ‘March 22’ and ‘Paddayi’ as second and third best film respectively.

The best actor has been awarded to Vishruth Nayka for his performance in ‘Manjari’ film and best actress award to Thara Anuradha from the film ‘Hebbat Ramakka’.

Insofar, as popular film award has been bagged by Santhosh Ananddram directorial ‘Raajakumara’ starring Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar. And, the special award over social impact category goes to ‘Hebbat Ramakka’. 

Amongst the other main categories, best children film is 'Yeleyaru Navu Geleyaru’ along with best child artiste to Shlagha Saligrama from the film ‘Kataka’, and best regional film is adjudged to Konkani film ‘Sophia’ directed by Harry Fernandez. 

Whereas popular categories including best music composer is bagged by V Harikrishna and best cinematographer to Santhosh Rai Pataje. The Department of Information and Public Relations has said that a total number of 121 applications were considered before selecting 25 awards among various categories. 

The 62nd National film awards has been announced and Kannada films have bagged  three awards. Kannada actress and MLC Smt Thara was part of the committee. But as jury member she was not there for the final selection!

This has become a raging controversy with some in Kannada industry blaming her for diminishing chances for more Kannada films from winning awards. In the awards committee there are five regional committees for the selection of movies from the respective zones and in each zone there will be four members apart from the chairman. 

From the south zone there are two committees.

Committee South 1 looks after Malayalam and Tamil Movies 

Committee South 2 will look after Telugu and Kannada Movies

These five regional committee chairpersons will be automatically selected for the final round of selection and five new jury members will be selected. For these 10 members one new chairman will be selected. But there is no rule that all language members should be there.

Actress Tara was the Regional Chairman for the East Regional zone and was automatically selected as jury member for the final round.

From Kannada BN Subramanya and Leslie Karvalo were there to select the movies from the Committee South 2.

All the members will be given the list of movies in India and will be asked to check if by chance their participation in there in this movie and if so they should back out. 

After the first round of selection Tara did not attend the final round! At that time Tara came to know that Ulidavaru Kandanthe movie was there in the list and she had acted in that.

Being a senior actress and national award winner and MLC why did Tara not notice that  a movie she acted in was there in the competition?

With this blunder of a mistake from Tara there was no committee member from the Kannada film industry to represent in the national final selection!

Chitraloka enquired some of the members who were selected to jury panel. They sadi they had got the All India Submitted final films list before they gave there acceptance to be part of the panel. There were 28 Kannada movies for the awards and nearly seven movies were there in the final round. If there was a regional member in the final round we could have expected more awards said the sources. 

Did Tara think that here duty is only for the East Regional zone and she would not see any Kannada Films and accept the job?

With no one from Kannada in the final selection Kannada films in the last round had no one to represent them and promote them before the other members.

ಆಗಿದ್ದು ಇಷ್ಟು, ಈಗ ಶುರುವಾಗಿರುವ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರೇ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಪೂರ್ವನಿಗದಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲು ಫಿಲಂ ಚೇಂಬರ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸಾ.ರಾ.ಗೋವಿಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಕಚೇರಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಶಾಸಕಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನಟಿ ತಾರಾ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರು, ಸದನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಗಂಭೀರ ಕಲಾಪವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರೋತ್ಸವ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಗೆ ಬರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಸಹಾಯಕತೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. 

ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ತಾರಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾ.ರಾ.ಗೋವಿಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದೇಕೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಅವರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಎಷ್ಟು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷದ ಬಜೆಟ್‍ನಲ್ಲೂ ಅವರು ನಾವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ಬಜೆಟ್‍ನಲ್ಲೂ ನಾವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಿರುವಾಗ ಹಾಗೇಕೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಮ್ಮಿಬ್ಬರ ನಡುವೆ ತಂದು ಹಾಕಬೇಡಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ತಾರಾ. ನಾನು ನೀವು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವುದು ನೋಡಿಯೇ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸಾ.ರಾ.ಗೋವಿಂದು.

ಅಚ್ಚರಿಗೊಂಡ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ, ತಾರಾ, ಏನಮ್ಮಾ.. ಅಂಥಾ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀಯಾ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಾರಾ ಗಪ್‍ಚುಪ್.

ಹೆಬ್ಬೆಟ್ ರಾಮಕ್ಕ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ ಏನು.? ಹೆಸರೇ ಸೂಚಿಸಿರುವ ರಾಮಕ್ಕ ಅರ್ಥಾತ್ ತಾರಾ ಅನಕ್ಷರಸ್ತೆ. ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯ ಪರಿಣಾಮದಿಂದ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯ್ತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗುವ ರಾಮಕ್ಕ, ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯ್ತಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆಯೂ ಆಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಅನಕ್ಷರಸ್ತೆ ಎಂಬ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ಎದುರಿಸುವ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು, ಸವಾಲುಗಳು ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ.

ಹಳ್ಳಿ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯ್ತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ರಾಜಕೀಯವನ್ನು ಹಸಿಹಸಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಲೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಸಿನಿಮಾ, ಜನರನ್ನು ಚಿಂತನೆಗೆ ದೂಡಿದರೆ, ಅದು ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಗುವ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಯಶಸ್ಸು. ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರುವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಿಗುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಮಾನವಿಲ್ಲ.

ತಾರಾ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರಾಜ್ ಪೈಪೋಟಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದವರಂತೆ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ನಂಜುಂಡೇಗೌಡರ ಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಹಾಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ತೆರೆಗೆ ತರುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಮತ್ತು ವಿತರಕ ಜಾಕ್‍ಮಂಜು.

ಹಿರಿಯ ನಟಿ ತಾರಾ ಅನುರಾಧಾ ತಿರುಪತಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಚಾವ್ ಆಗಿ ಬಂದ ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಿರುಪತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರವಾಹ ಶುರುವಾಗುವ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಮೊದಲು ತಿರುಪತಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದರು. ಮಳೆ ಇತ್ತಾದರೂ ಪ್ರವಾಹದ ಭೀಕರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಪರಿಚಯಸ್ಥರೊಬ್ಬರು ಬನ್ನಿ ಪರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು. ನಾನು, ಅಮ್ಮ, ಮಗ, ಅಣ್ಣ, ನನ್ನ ಪಿಎ ಮತ್ತು ಡ್ರೈವರ್ ಇದ್ದರು. ತಿರುಪತಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನೀರು ಸೊಂಟದವರೆಗೆ ಇತ್ತು. ನಮಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಈಗ ರೆಡ್ ಅಲರ್ಟ್ ಘೋಷಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ಎಂದರು. ರೂಂ ಮಾಡೋಣ ಎಂದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡೋದು? ಯಾವ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ಲೂ ಓಪನ್ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನೀರಿನ ಸೆಳೆತ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಯ್ತು. ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಕಾರುಗಳು ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರೇ ತೇಲೋಕೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದವು.

ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾರೂ ತೇಲೋಕೆ ಶುರುವಾಯ್ತು. ಎಲ್ಲಿಯಾದರೂ ಸರಿ, ಸೇಫ್ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಸಾಕು ಎಂದು ಡ್ರೈವರ್‍ಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಡ್ರೈವರ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ಕಾರನ್ನು ಹೇಗೋ ಕಂಟ್ರೋಲ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಕಡೆ ಕಾರು ನಮ್ಮ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣದಲ್ಲೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀರು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆವು. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ನಿಂತ ಜಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದು ನೋಡಿದರೆ.. ಅದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹೈವೇ. ದೇವರೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದೇ ಹಾದಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ವಾಪಸ್ ಬಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟೆವು.

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ವಿಜೇತ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳೆಂದರೆ, ಅವು ಥಿಯೇಟರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಕಾಲವೂ ಇತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ಈಗ ಹಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ವಿಜೇತ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಕಾಲಿಡುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಥಿಯೇಟರಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ವಿಜೇತ ಚಿತ್ರ ಹೆಬ್ಬೆಟ್ ರಾಮಕ್ಕ.

ಕನ್ನಡದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಚಿತ್ರ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ, ಈಗ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯ ಹೊಣೆ ಹೊತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಜಾಕ್‍ಮಂಜು.
