Shivarajakumar starrer 'Kabira' has been censored with an 'U' certificate and the film is all set to be launched on the 22nd of July. 'Santheyalli Nintha Kabira' is based on Bheeshm Sahni's 'Kabira Khada Bazaar Main' and director Narendra Babu himself has scripted the film. Gopala Vajpayee has written the songs and dialogues of the film, while Ismail Darbar has composed the songs for the film. 

Bhageerathi Bai Kadam, Sharath Kumar, Akshatha Rao, Avinash, Sharath Lohitashwa and others will be playing prominent roles in the film. Malayalam actress Sanusha has been roped in to play the heroine.

The film is based on Bhism Sahani's Hindi play Bazaar Mein Khada Kabir. Bollywood composer  Ismail Darbar has scored music for this film which is his first in Kannada. The film has been shot in Mysuru, Varanasi and Himachal Pradesh.

If everything goes as planned then actor Mithun Chakraborty is likely to act as Shivarajakumar's guru Ramananda in 'Kabira' being directed by Indra Babu. Earlier, there was a news that Amitabh Bachchan may play the role of Kabira's guru Ramananda in the film. Babu had tried to contact Amitabh Bachchan regarding this. Now, it looks like Amitabh might not act in the film and now Babu is planning to rope in Mithun Chakraborty for the role of Ramananda. As of now, nothing has been finalised and is still in the initial stage.

Meanwhile, the first schedule of 'Kabira' is wrapped up in and around Chennapatna. Climax as well as a song was shot during this schedule and the second schedule is likely to start in the month of May.

Actor Shivarajakumar will be releasing 'Santheyalli Ninta Kabeera' on Monday at Kalagrama in Mallattahalli in Bangalore. The play is derived from the 'Kabira Khada Bazaar Mein' by well known play wright Bhishm Sahni. Gopal Vajapayee has translated this book to Kannada.

The play has also been made in to a film by 'Kabaddi' fame Narendra Babu. The shooting for the film has been completed and the film is scheduled to release in the month of June.

'Kabira' is based on 'Kabira Khada Bazaar Main' by Bhisham Sahni. Based on the story by Bhisham Sahni, Narendra Babu has scripted the film, while Gopal Vajapayee is in charge of the songs and dialogues. Music director Ismail Darbar will be making his debut in Kannada through this film and Ismail has already composed the songs.

While, Shivarajkumar is chosen to play the role of Kabira, other well known artistes like Sharath Kumar, Akshatha Rao, Avinash and others will be playing prominent roles in the film. Malayalam actress Sanusha has been roped in to play the heroine.

Last week director R Chandru has said that he will soon be starting 'Badshah' with Shivarajakumar and the preparations for the film is in full progress. But Shivarajakumar has given a hint that his next film is 'Srikanta' being directed by Manju Swaraj and 'Badshah' is not in the cards right now.

Recently while speaking to few media persons, Shivarajakumar confirmed that after 'Shivalingu' and 'Santheyalli Nintha Kabira', he will be taking up 'Srikanta'.

'I have finished 'Vajrakaya' and the shooting for 'Shivalinga' and 'Santheyalli Ninta Kabira' is in progress. After shooting for both the films I will be taking up 'Srikanta'. It will be August when I complete all these films. After that I want to give sometime for my daughter's marriage. I will be planning future films only after my daughter's wedding' says Shivarajakumar.

ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಟ್ ಆದ..ಸೂಪರ್ ಹಿಟ್ ಆದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಕ ಅಕ್ಷರದಿಂದ ಶುರುವಾದವು. ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿರೋ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 2 ಎರಡೂ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಮೊದಲ ಅಕ್ಷರ ಕ. ಕಾಂತಾರ ಚಿತ್ರವೂ ಅಷ್ಟೆ, ಕ ಅಕ್ಷರದಿಂದಲೇ ಶುರುವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಆ ಅದೃಷ್ಟದ ಕಥೆ ಹೊರಬರುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಬ್ಜ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ.

ಕಬ್ಜ ಚಿತ್ರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 17ರಂದು ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ಅಪ್ಪು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬವಿದ್ದರೆ, ಇನ್ನೊಂದೆಡೆ ಕಬ್ಜ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಹಬ್ಬ. ಆರ್.ಚಂದ್ರು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಿರುವ ಕಬ್ಜ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ, ಸುದೀಪ್, ಶಿವಣ್ಣ, ಶ್ರೇಯಾ ಸರಣ್, ತಾನ್ಯಾ ಹೋಪ್ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದೃಷ್ಟ ಕ ಅಕ್ಷರದಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತೋ.. ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕಂಟೆಂಟ್ ಇರುವ ಪ್ರೆಸೆಂಟೇಷನ್‍ನಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತೋ.. ಕಬ್ಜ ಗೆದ್ದ ನಂತರ ಮಾತನಾಡಬಹುದು. ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕಂತೂ ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಬ್ಜದ ಕ್ರೇಜ್ ಜೋರಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ರಿಯಲ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ, ಆರ್.ಚಂದ್ರು ಕಾಂಬಿನೇಷನ್ನಿನ ಕಬ್ಜ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಶೂಟಿಂಗ್ ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಂಡರ್‍ವಲ್ರ್ಡ್ ಕಥೆಯ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಂದ್ರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವುದು 80ರ ದಶಕದ ಕಥೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ 25 ಬಂದೂಕು ಧಾರಿಗಳು, ಶಾರ್ಪ್ ಶೂಟರುಗಳು, ಮುಂಬೈನಿಂದ ತರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಹಳೆಯ ಕಾಲದ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಶೂಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಲಗಿದೆ.

ಇವುಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ದಿನವೊಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮಾರು 20 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಖರ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಜಗಪತಿ ಬಾಬು, ನಾನಾ ಪಾಟೇಕರ್, ಸಮುದ್ರ ಖಣಿ, ಜೈಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ರಾವತ್, ಅತುಲ್ ಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಭೂಗತ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಈ ಕಥೆ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ತೆಲುಗು, ತಮಿಳು ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಯಾರಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮಲಯಾಳಂ, ಹಿಂದಿ, ಮರಾಠಿ, ಬಂಗಾಳಿ ಭಾಷೆಗೆ ಡಬ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಚಂದ್ರು ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂಟಿಬಿ ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ಕೂಡಾ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
