Challenging Star Darshan returns to silver screen after a short gap with his previous release being Tarak in 2017. The star actor is set for one of the biggest releases for sandalwood this season. His most expected movie - Yajamana directed by his favourite composer V.Harikrishna, is releasing in no less than 500 screens across the nation from tomorrow.

The trailer and the songs of Yajamana, has been making huge sound on the social media, breaking the record as the highest viewed trailer for a Kannada movie. Apart from being paired opposite Rashmika Mandanna, it marks the combination of the actor's favourite composer V. Harikrishna, who along with composition also makes his debut as a director.

This is the 25th film together for music composer V Harikrishna and Darshan.  Dhananjaya, Devaraj, Ravishankar and Thakur Anoop Singh are some of the others in the cast. 

“Due to challenging star fan's huge expectations, we are releasing this film which is specially written and made for Darshan, in 500 screens. But it will be released only in Kannada and not dubbed in other languages. Good films knows no boundary and language and we are hoping that it will appeal to movie goes who love good movies,” says Shylaja Nag, Yajamana producer.

Though the movie which was launched as P Kumar being its director, Harikrishna's involvement in every department of the filmmaking finally led to his directorial venture in the end.

The actor recently celebrated his birthday in a meaningful way by involving his fans who donated food items, to be distributed to the needy. The actor himself made sure that it reached orphanages and old age homes.

In one word, it's a 'treat’, for all those die-hard fans of challenging star Darshan, who had to wait for more than a year to witness him in action on the big screen. The 25th combination of dasa and his favourite composer Harikrishna who along with P.Kumar have extracted a perfect action thriller for this pre-summer season.

Just like the character of Shivanandi, which according to mythology is the vehicle of Lord Shiva, Darshan pulls forward this action packed saga which is set around a simple tale but a well-oiled commercial entertainer.

Since ages, oil has been one of the most important essential commodity for the mankind. Here, in Yajamana the makers have oiled this action thriller around cooking oil business, based on traditional methods. It also throws light on the plight of farmers, and how the middlemen make the profit as the growers suffer at their hands.

Shivanandi takes on a business tycoon played by Anup Thakur, who throws series of challenges at him. Will Shivanandi emerges victorious in the end, is the story of Yajamana.

Though on the outlook, it is all about Darshan and his star power which propels this venture with proportionate mix of romance, comedy, action and drama, it is also comes with a subtle message on why some traditional methods of agriculture and its business is still the most effective means for farmers even in this modern world.

Melodious composer and singer Harikrishna who along with the assistance of Kumar, have scored a perfect tune even behind the camera. Insofar as performances are concerned, it is Darshan who leads the pack with Rashmika in a pretty role and Tanya Hope making a beautiful debut. 

Devaraj plays yet another dynamic role, and Sadhu Kokila joins the bandwagon of popular comedians from television for a rib tickling sequences. Dali Dhananjay, Anup Thakur and Ravishankar as villains challenges Shivanandi, and in the end Yajamana turns out to be a fan-tastic experience for over two-and-half hours.

Darshan starrer 'Yajamana' is all set to be premiered at 7 PM in Star Suvarna. 'Yajamana' is produced by Shylaja Nag and B Suresha, while jointly directed by Pon Kumar and V Harikrishna.

'Yajamana' which was released on the 01st of March had completed 100 days in 10 theaters. Even before the film could complete 100 days, the film was available in Amazon Prime. Now the film will be premiered officially in television tonight.

'Yajamana' stars Darshan, Rashmika Mandanna, Tanya Hope, Dhananjay, Anup Singh Thakur, Devaraj and others play prominent roles in the film. V Harikrishna is the music director, while Srishah Koodavalli is the cameraman.

ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡೆಲ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ತಾನ್ಯಾ ಹೋಪ್, ತೆಲುಗು, ಹಿಂದಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಯಜಮಾನನ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಮರ್ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರೇ ನಾಯಕಿ. ಸುನಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ದೇಸಾಯಿಯವರ ಉದ್ಘರ್ಷ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲೂ ತಾನ್ಯಾ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿಯೇ.. ಅವರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿತೂಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
