The premier body of Kannada film industry - Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFFCC) paid respects to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel killed in the Pulwama terror attack.

The members of the body which held a condolences meet condemned the cowardly act of the terrorists in which at least 44 brave CRPF jawans were martyred on February 14.

The president of the body A Chinne Gowda along with the executive members of the body Ba Ma Harish, H C Sreenivasa (Shilpa), its treasurer K M Veeresh and others including KCN Chandrasekhar, K V Chandrasekhar, Sa Ra Govindu, A ganesh, Ba Ma Girish, Naganna and others held a silent protest after paying respects to the brave souls by lighting candles and remembering their supreme sacrifice.

They also urged the central government to take stern measures in giving befitting reply to the dastardly act against the terror outfits operating from the neighboring country. Many members voluntarily came forward to give funds to our Mandya Soilder Guru who got killed in the terror attack.

Senior actress and wife of rebel star Ambareesh, Sumalatha Ambareesh who is presently in Malaysia along with her son Abhishek for the shooting of his debut venture Amar, has expressed her condolences to the CRPF jawans who were martyred in Pulwama terrorist attack.

Speaking to Chitraloka from Malaysia, Sumalatha Ambareesh has said she was deeply pained to learn about the cowardly act and mourned the death of brave hearts. “It was a cowardly and dastardly act of terrorists. Among 44 martyrs, Guru hails from Mandya district. When I heard that there were issues relating to land to perform the last rites of the martyr, to be later used for building a memorial, I along with Abhishek decided to donate half an acre of land belonging to Ambareesh in Doddarasinakere to the martyr’s family,” says Sumalatha Ambareesh.

However, after learning that the state government has arranged the land, Sumalatha Ambareesh has said that once she is back from Malaysia, she will visit the martyr's family and hand over the land to them. “It is the duty of everyone of us to bid the departed brave souls with highest possible respect. It is the least one can do for those who sacrifice their lives for us. I am doing it as a duty for being the daughter and daughter-in-law of this land,” Sumalatha says.

ಹಣವನ್ನು ತುಂಬಾ ದಿನ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳೋದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ದಿನವೇ  ಗುರು ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೆ ಹಣ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ.

ಹಿರಿಯ ನಟಿ, ಮಂಡ್ಯದ ಸೊಸೆ ಸುಮಲತಾ ಅಂಬರೀಷ್, ಹುತಾತ್ಮ ಯೋಧ ಹೆಚ್.ಗುರು ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಧ ಎಕರೆ ಜಮೀನು ನೀಡಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಲೇಷ್ಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸುಮಲತಾ, ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮಂಡ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದರ ನಡುವೆ ಮಂಡ್ಯದ ಯೋಧ ಹುತಾತ್ಮನಾಗಿರುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ನಡೆಸಲೂ ಜಾಗ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ಇರುವ ಸುದ್ದಿ ತಿಳಿದ ಸುಮಲತಾ, ದೊಡ್ಡರಸಿನಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರ್ಧ ಎಕರೆ ಜಮೀನನ್ನು ಯೋಧನ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ, ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಯೋಧನ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ 10 ಗುಂಟೆ ಜಮೀನು ನೀಡಿತು. ಇದು ಗೊತ್ತಾದ ನಂತರವೂ ಸುಮಲತಾ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಬದಲಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. 

ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಅದು ಅವರ ಸ್ವತ್ತು. ಅವರಿಗೇ ಸಲ್ಲಬೇಕು ಎಂದಿರುವ ಸುಮಲತಾ, ಮಲೇಷ್ಯಾದಿಂದ ವಾಪಸ್ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹುತಾತ್ಮ ಯೋಧನ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಆ ಅರ್ಧ ಎಕರೆ ಜಮೀನನ್ನು ಗುರು ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೆ ರಿಜಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಮಾಡಿಸಲು ಕ್ರಮ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
