The fourth season of the 'Big Boss' has started and host Sudeep on Saturday night has welcomed all the contestants to the 'Big Boss' house. Sudeep has said that the contestants look tough and has wished the team of 'Big Boss' a huge luck.

Sudeep on Sunday morning in his tweet has wished the team of 'Big Boss' and has said that the contestants, this time looks tough. The opening episode was shot on Saturday and will be aired on Sunday evening from 6 PM.

The new season of Bigg Boss Kannada is underway. The fifth season of the popular TV show hosted by Sudeep is set to start soon according to indications from the Colors Kannada TV channel which airs the show. In a post Gurudas Shenoy of Colors Kannada has said, "Coming sooon... season 5.. lot of surprises.. look forward to this..." He has not mentioned Bigg Boss but it leaves no doubt as the show has completed four seasons till now.

Sudeep has also responded to this and gave a confirmation that it is indeed Bigg Boss' new season. He has said, "I'm looking forward too shenoy... N to meet the team." Last season Pratham won the event. Sudeep is certain now to host the fifth season as well.

Few days ago, Sudeep who was away shooting in Kashmir, did his part of the cause by tweeting about his support to Cauvery water crisis.

Actor-director Sudeep who was away from the micro blogging site like Twitter for the past one month is finally back and has tweeted for the first time in the last month.

Sudeep recently tweeted wishing his fans and followers. 'Got on to wrk n tweeter after a long gap..havent gone thru any tweets fr long..A big hiii to all,,.hope all u frnzz doin gud..' tweeted Sudeep.

Sudeep was busy in the last one month shooting for films 'Ranna' and Tamil film 'Puli'. Now Sudeep has gone to Switzerland for the song shooting of 'Ranna' and is likely to be back by 14th of March. After that he is expected to move to Hyderabad for the shooting of last song of the film. The film is expected to release in the first week of April.

Sudeep has become the first Kannada actor to have over 5 Lakh followers on micro blogging site Twitter. He reached the milestone on Wednesday morning.

Sudeep has been active on Twitter for years now and he is not present on Facebook. His constant engagement with his fans on Twitter and direct access has been liked by fans. Sudeep is also present on Instagram but not very active. Most of the top Kannada actors are now on Twitter and have gained huge following.

Sudeep who is away in Kashmir shooting for the film Hebbuli travelled a distance to talk about the Kaveri water crisis.

Tweeting about it he has said, "There is no network at Sonmarg (where we are shooting) and had to travel a distance just to tweet and say that my support towards Kaveri issue is always there. I request all to remain calm amd I am sure the government concerned will surely do the needful and make sure justice is done. We the actors and the industry have always stood for our people and will always stand up whenever required. There is no two way about it. We the industry have always respected our people and have stood up and come forward to support and history says it all," he said in a series of tweets.

Sudeep has also cautioned against reacting in haste. He further commented,
"Reacting in haste is not going to take us anywhere. Justice can be achieved only through the right way and I am sure our government will do what is required. We the industry love our people and we have never hesitated to stand up for the rights."

Actor-director Sudeep who has been advised bed rest by the doctors for gastric problem has thanked all and particularly the media for their concern and wishes. ಅದೊಂದು ಮಾತು ಜೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯಲ್ಲಪ್ಪ ಎಂಬುವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು. ಅಂದಹಾಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 4 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಈ ಯಲ್ಲಪ್ಪ ಎಂಬ ಖೈದಿ ಸುದೀಪ್ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಗೊಂಡ. ಕೊಲೆ ಆರೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ 14 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಯಲ್ಲಪ್ಪ, ಈಗ 4 ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆದು ಪಾಸ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಒಂದು ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನೂ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
