    Actor-producer-director P Sheshadri has lashed out at award film maker P Sheshadri for his recommendations to the Government that it is not justified to give best villain award from next year.

    Recently, P Sheshadri had written Sheshadri had written a letter to the Government regarding the State Awards function. Sheshadri had suggested that it is not proper to give a best villain award as there is a supporting actor award and actors who play negative characters are also given awards in such category. After Sheshadri's letter was published, there were hue and cry from fans and public over his reaction.

    Actor Jaggesh has also lashed out on P Sheshadri for his remarks. Jaggesh has tweeted in this regard saying that, 'why only people like P Sheshadri should get awards. Aren't other people eligible for such awards. Why should only few people get red carpet treatment. People like P Sheshadri must not take publicity using Darshan's name. Stop this nuisance' tweeted Jaggesh.

    National Award winner P Sheshadri is planning to direct a new film by the end of this year and the film is likely to star actor Shivarajakumar in prominent role.

    Shivarajakumar himself disclosed that he may act in a film directed by P Sheshadri. 'Recently, Sheshadri narrated an one-liner, which is very interesting. If everything goes well, then I may act in the film' disclosed Shivarajakumar.

    Shivarajakumar recently completed 'Kavacha' and is busy with 'Rustom' and 'Drona'. After completing the two films, Shivarajakumar might take up the new film with P Sheshadri.

    P Sheshadri's new film 'Mookajjiya Kanasugalu' which was released last Friday is getting good response all over. Meanwhile, the award winning director has thanked the audience for the success of the film. 

    Last Friday, 10 Kannada films were released and one among them is 'Mookajjiya Kanasugalu. The film was released in a few screens in multiplexes. In spite, of limited screens, the film is running successfully and all the shows on Sunday were house full. P Sheshadri who was elated seeing such a response he got for the film, has thanked the audience for the success.

    Well known director P Sheshadri who has many National Awards to his credit is the talk of the town off late. Sheshadri's letter to the Government regarding the best villain awards has garnered much criticism from Darshan's fans and has been the much discussed topic in the social networking sites.

    During the Karnataka State Award function at Mysore, Darshan had requested Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and other ministers to give a best villain award from next year for which the CM immediately accepted. Recently Sheshadri had written a letter to the Government regarding the State Awards function. Sheshadri had listed the problems that occurred in the function and requested that the Government should be more careful in the future in organising such functions.

    Sheshadri in his letter had also suggested that it is not proper to give a best villain award as there is a supporting actor award and actors who play negative characters are also given awards in such category.
