The shooting for Puneeth Rajakumar starrer 'Yuvaratna' is almost complete except for two songs and the team had earlier decided to shoot the songs in foreign locations. However, due to the Corona pandemic, the team is planning to shoot the songs in India itself.

Now the two songs will be shot indoors and the sets are being erected at Kanteerava Studios in Bangalore. The shooting will resume from September 26th and will conclude by the second week of October.

If everything had gone as expected, then the 'Yuvaratna' team had planned a pre-release event in Mysore on Saturday night (March 20th). However, the event was postponed due to various reasons and now the team will be visiting various major cities in Karnataka for three days and will be promoting the event.

The team has already gone to Gulbarga on Sunday morning, where it will be meeting fans at10.30 AM beside Asian Mall, after which the team will be visiting Belgaum and Hubli today. In the next two days, the team will be visiting Bellary, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Mysore and Mandya and will be meeting fans in the respective cities.

With many producers still confused over when to release their films, producer Vijay Kumar Kiragandur has taken a decision to release Puneeth Rajakumar starrer 'Yuvaratna' on the 01st of April 2021.

'Yuvaratna' was supposed to be released last year during the birthday of Dr Rajakumar. However, the release got cancelled because of the pandemic. After the lockdown, though the team completed the film, the release date was not announced as no big film in Kannada dared to take a risk as the Central Government had given only 50 percent occupancy in the theaters. With everybody fearing to release the film, Hombale Films have decided to release the film on the 01st of April.

As of now, the post-production of the film is almost complete. Recently, S S Thaman completed the background score of the film and the team is in full awe with the work of Thaman. Two songs of the film have already been released and the fans of Puneeth are looking forward to the trailer of the film, which the team is expected to release in the month of February.

Accordingly, 'Pogaru' will be the first big starrer to hit the screens. As known the film is scheduled for a Feb 19th release, followed by 'Robert' which is all set for March 11th. 'Yuvaratna' will be released on the 01st of April, 'Salaga' on April 15th, 'Kotigobba 3' on April 19th and 'Bhajarangi 2' on May 14th.

Upendra starrer 'Buddhivanta 2' and 'Trishulam', Sharan starrer 'Avatar Purusha' will also be released after April.
