Upendra starrer 'I Love You' will be completing 50 days on the 2nd of August across Karnataka. To mark the occasion, R Chandru has organised an event and will be felicitating artistes and technicians.

R Chandru has said that he will be organising a special event on the 02nd of August and will be honouring artistes and technicians who have worked for the success of the film.

'I Love You's is written and directed by R Chandru. The film stars Upendra, Rachita Ram, Sonu Gowda, Bramhanandam, Sayyaji Shinde, Ravi Kaale and others in prominent roles. Sugnan is the cameraman, while Kiran is the music composer.

Bangalore Commissioner Bhaskar Rao, former minister H M Revanna and Ananda Guruji were the chief guests of the event. Apart from them producer K P Srikanth, music director Gurukiran, Lahari Velu, Upendra and others were also present at the occasion and gave away trophies to artistes and technicians.

It's been a while since real star Upendra did his reel magic on the silver screen, and his fans were eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of him amidst all his political dreams and ambition to serve the public. 

His latest 'I Love U’ directed by the R Chandru had planned for a grand audio release especially for the fans before the end of 2018, but with recording works which is still in progress, the filmmaker has decided to release the most anticipated teaser of the movie on December 30.

“We had plans to release the audio of the movie on a grand scale in 2018, but the recording works are still on at A R Rahman studios. However, we are not going to disappoint the fans, as the special teaser will be released on Dec 30,” says director R Chandru.

He further reveals that I Love U audio will be released on Jan 12 in Davanagere, and the movie will hit the screens on Valentine's day, which is on February 14.

Insofar as the teaser, the director says that it is going to be as exciting as real star's popular movies with a blend of his touch to it. Also, the die hard fans of Upendra have adored the star with the new title 'Abhimanigala Chakravarthy’ which makes I Love U even more special.

“We wanted to reveal the first look on Upendra sir's birthday but due to some technical issues, it got delayed. It was a challenge for me to convey the story and the real intent of the movie in a single poster while revealing Uppi’s look in it,” says the director R Chandru, adding that the pattern of 'A’ and ‘Upendra’ will meet my signature style of making from the films like Taj Mahal and Charminar, for I Love U.

As the film is scheduled for release in December, the director wraps it up saying that it is going to be a pakka family entertainer while the college students would simply love Uppi’s new avatar where his philosophy and my content meets for a magical experience.

I Love You, the new film starting Upendra and directed by R Chandru is one of the most expected films this year. The first look motion poster of the film was expected to be released tomorrow on Upendra's birthday.

A decade later, Santhosh is now a married man and a successful businessman. While life goes normal, Dharmika enters in his life for the second time.
