Dayal Padmanabhan's 'Karaala Ratri' is all set for release and director-producer Dayal is planning to release the film on the 13th of July.

 'Karaala Ratri' is based on a play of Mohan Habbu. Based on the play, Dayal has scripted the film. Naveen Krishna has written the dialogues for the film. The film is being jointly produced by Dayal and Avinash Shetty.

'Karaala Ratri' stars Dayal's fellow contestants JK and Anupama Gowda along with Naveen Krishna, Rangayana Raghu, Jaya Srinivasan, Veena Sundar, Navarasan and others, P K H Doss is the cameraman, while Ganesh Narayan is the music director.

Raghavendra Rajakumar's new film 'Trayambakam' has been censored with 'U' certificate. With the censor certificate in hand, the team is planning to release the film by March end or April first week.

'Trayambakam' which means Third Eye was launched last year. The film is being written and directed by Dayal Padmanabhan. The trailer of the film has already been released and is getting good response from all over.

Apart from Raghavendra Rajakumar, RJ Rohith and Anupama Gowda have portrayed prominent roles in the film. Ganesh Narayan has composed the music. Dayal's regular Naveen Krishna has written the dialogues for the film.

The trimmed edited version of Aa Karaala Ratri was watched by the core team of the film including director Dayal Padmanabhan, the actors and others. The film will now be sent for adding the background score.

The shooting for the film was completed on Ugadi day and now the editing and trimming is complete today in record time. The editing was done by Sri CrazyMindz. AKR is a suspense thriller starring Karthik Jayaram, Anupama Gowda and others.

The film has created huge curiosity for various reasons. The lead actors were part of the recent Bigg Boss Kannada season and were paired to play the lead immediately after that. The film is an adapatation of a play by Mohan Habbu.

The movie stars Karthik Jayaram, Anupama Gowda, Rangayana Raghu, Veena Sundar and a host of other prominent actors playing small yet important roles. 

For everyone that complains about the usual “masala” in movies, this is definitely a different genre and a brilliant one at that. 

If you’ve always thought movies come with a certain template or formula, this will definitely break that and give you a new perspective, and it’s very refreshing to see an engaging plot and interesting screenplay.

The movie starts off with some brilliant camera work by PKH Das, excellent cinematography. Most of the movie is shot at night, so the DOP has had a tough and critical role to play, but the state award winner has done an extraordinary job in the movie. 

Brilliant performances by Anupama Gowda, Rangayana Raghu and Veena Sundar. Such captivating performances are rare in today’s cinema. 

JK has done a very good job and him accepting such an interesting character itself is a testimony to his love for interesting scripts. Definitely hope he continues to choose roles that will bring out his skills. 

Anupama for a small screen actress has done such a wonderful job and play a very critical role in the movie, she has given a huge competition to stalwarts like Mr. Raghu and Mrs. Veena Sundar. Her timing, her sarcasm and her natural action were a treat to watch. Naveen Krishna’s dialogues specifically for Anupama were pure gold. 

The Music Director has done an extraordinary job. The Re-recording was wonderful. The music all through the movie had the thrilling and racy feel. The songs are great. The background score will keep ringing in your head. 

One would think that the editor must have had a task when such performances, editing such wonderful performances is quite a challenge but not for CrazyMindzz Sri. His long time association with Dayal itself is a proof of his excellent work. 

Coming to the Producer and Director Dayal Padmanabhan. His way of looking at a play and turning that into a feature film is commendable. He has done a wonderful job in terms of star cast, screen play, and Naveen Krishna’s dialogues are very colloquial yet quirky. His performance in a such role was so brilliant, excellent dialogue delivert.

A movie to be kept always in your library.

Remember, Suhasini starrer 'Benkiyalli Aralida Hoo' which was released 35 years back. The film was directed by veteran director K Balachander. Now a new film has been titled as 'Benkiyalli Aralida Hoo' and actress Anupama Gowda plays a prominent role in the film.

The new 'Benkiyalli Aralida Hoo' talks about the plight of women working in the Garments industry. Anupama Gowda plays a middle class girl in this film. The shooting for the film is almost completed and only two days of shooting is left.

'Benkiyalli Aralida Hoo' is being directed by Devisri Prasad. V Manohar has composed the songs for the film.

The sensible director Dayal Padmanabhan returns delivering his third venture in less than nine month's time after Aa Karala Ratri and Puta 109. Pegged around a centuries old unique Shivalinga made out of navapashana dating back to Vijayanagara dynasty which has greater medicinal qualities, Thrayambakam revolves around a father's emotional struggle between reality and illustration.

The father's role portrayed by Raghavendra Rajkumar depicts the plight of an ailing person who is in a constant state of confusion over the death of his daughter. The brilliant writing along with the natural act of Raghavendra Rajkumar keeps the tale interesting as the confusion over series of real illusion gets murkier as it heads to the second part.

Based on the historical findings over 'navapashana’, its relevance since ancient times and similarly made idols which are found in couple of temples in Tamilnadu, director has attempted a new kind of storytelling attached with thrilling moments.

While the curiosity is held effectively over navapashana and its connection with the dreams and illusions foreseen by the father's character, the significance of it, is revealed in later stages. It is undoubtedly Raghanna's show all the way as a disturbed father and his concern over the safety of his daughter. That apart, Anupama Gowda puts up an impressive act through her lively and energetic performance, one as a journalist and another as an archeological officer!

Naveen Krishna, who played the lead role in Actor, directed by Dayal and produced by K M Veeresh, has written dialogues to this one. He deserves appreciation for conveying the struggling mind of a disturbed father through crispy and meaningful words.

Whereas Rockstar Rohith as a detective and a lover plays a vital role. Director turned actor Shivamani makes a special appearance in a short but an effective role. Overall,

Thrayambakam is a good infotainment loaded with history, emotion, thriller and an interesting tale to watch out for. Do not miss this one from Dayal, as he leaves you all pleasantly surprised in the end.

ಜೆಕೆ, ಅನುಪಮಾ ಗೌಡ, ರಂಗಾಯಣ ರಘು, ವೀಣಾ ಸುಂದರ್, ನವೀನ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಈಗ ಅಪರೂಪದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ. ಸಿನಿಮಾ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರೇ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದ ಖುಷಿ ಇಮ್ಮಡಿಗೊಳ್ಳೋಕೆ ಕಾರಣ.

ದಯಾಳ್ ಪದ್ಮನಾಭನ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಆ ಕರಾಳ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಕದ್ದಿದ್ದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ಬೇರೆಯದ್ದೇ ವರ್ಗದ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಥಿಯೇಟರಿಗೆ ಎಳೆದು ತಂದಿದ್ದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ, ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಕಥೆ, ಕಾನ್ಸೆಪ್ಟ್‍ನಿಂದಾಗಿ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದಿತ್ತು. ರಂಗಾಯಣ ರಘು, ಅನುಪಮಾ ಗೌಡ, ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್ ಜಯರಾಮ್, ವೀಣಾ ಸುಂದರ್ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ಚಿತ್ರವದು. 2018ರಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಹಿಟ್ ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.

ಈಗ ಆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ತೆಲುಗಿನತ್ತ ಹೊರಟಿದೆ. ತೆಲುಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಈಗ ತೆಲುಗಿಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮೊತ್ತಕ್ಕೇ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ರೀಮೇಕ್ ರೈಟ್ಸ್ ಮಾರಾಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೊರೋನಾ ಎಫೆಕ್ಟ್ ಸೈಲೆಂಟ್ ಆದ ನಂತರ ತೆಲುಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಕರಾಳ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಶುರುವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಕಡಿಮೆ ಬಜೆಟ್, ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಥೆ, ಕಡಿಮೆ ಸಮಯ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಿನಿಮಾ..ಇದು ದಯಾಳ್ ಪದ್ಮನಾಭನ್ ಸ್ಪೆಷಾಲಿಟಿ. ಆ್ಯಕ್ಟರ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಂತರ ತಮ್ಮ ವರಸೆಯನ್ನೇ ಬದಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಗೆದ್ದ ದಯಾಳ್, ತ್ರಯಂಬಕಂನಲ್ಲೂ ಆ ಸಾಧನೆ ರಿಪೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದೇ ವಾರ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ತ್ರಯಂಬಕಂ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು, ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಬಜೆಟ್ಟಿನ ಶೇ.50ರಷ್ಟನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಷ್ಟರಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು ಸೇಫ್.

ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್, ಅನುಪಮಾ ಗೌಡ, ಆರ್‍ಜೆ ರೋಹಿತ್ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿರೋ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನವೀನ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ಇದೆ. ವಿಶ್ವ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಜಾಕ್ ಮಂಜು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂದು ಸಂಜೆ ಜಿಟಿ ಮಾಲ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪ್ರೀಮಿಯರ್ ಶೋ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಆ ಕರಾಳ ರಾತ್ರಿ. ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ ಮೊಳಕೆಯೊಡೆದಿದ್ದೇ ಬಿಗ್‍ಬಾಸ್ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ. ಬಿಗ್‍ಬಾಸ್ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ದಯಾಳ್, ತಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿದದ ಅನುಪಮಾ ಮತ್ತು ಜಯಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಈ ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಂತೆ. ಬಿಗ್‍ಬಾಸ್ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವೇ ಹೀರೋ, ಹೀರೋಯಿನ್ ಎಂದಿದ್ದರಂತೆ. ಜೆಕೆಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದ್ದುದು ಆ ಕರಾಳ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಥೆ.

ಕಥೆ ಡಿಫರೆಂಟ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ದಯಾಳ್ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡ್ತಾರಾ ಅನ್ನೋ ಅನುಮಾನವೂ ಇತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ಬಿಗ್‍ಬಾಸ್‍ನಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನಗೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಅನೌನ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಸರ್‍ಪ್ರೈಸ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಜೆಕೆ.

ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಜೆಕೆ ಗೆಟಪ್ ಬದಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರೆಟ್ರೊ ಲುಕ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಂಗ್ ಹೇರ್, ದಪ್ಪ ಮೀಸೆ, ಕಾಸ್ಟ್ಯೂಮ್ ಬದಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಡೈಲಾಗ್‍ನ್ನೂ ಎಂಜಾಯ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಡೈಲಾಗುಗಳು ವಿಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿವೆ. ದಯಾಳ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಸ್ಕ್ರಿಪ್ಟ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟಾಗ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಇಂಥ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾ ಎಂಬ ಅನುಮಾನ ಮೂಡಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ತುಂಬಾ ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಕಿರುತೆರೆಯ ಸೂಪರ್‍ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಜೆಕೆ ಅಲಿಯಾಸ್ ಜಯಕೀರ್ತಿ.

ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವು ಎಂದರೆ ಸುಹಾಸಿನಿಯ ಮುಖ ಕಣ್ಣ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡದ ಕ್ಲಾಸಿಕ್ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವು. ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವು ಎಂದರೆ ಅನುಪಮಾ ಗೌಡರನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

ಆ ಕರಾಳ ರಾತ್ರಿ, ತ್ರಯಂಬಕಂ,  ಪುಟ 109 ಮೊದಲಾದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದ ಅನುಪಮಾ ಗೌಡ ಈಗ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೇವಿ ಶ್ರೀಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮಾರಿ ಗಂಡನ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಏಗುವ ಪಾತ್ರ ಅನುಪಮಾರದ್ದು. ವಿಶು ಆಚಾರ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ.

ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವು ಎಂದರೆ ಸುಹಾಸಿನಿಯೇ ನೆನಪಾಗುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಸುಹಾಸಿನಿಯವರನ್ನೂ ಮೀರಿಸುವ ಅಭಿನಯ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾದ ಸವಾಲು ಅನುಪಮಾ ಎದುರು ಇದೆ.

ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವು.. ಸುಹಾಸಿನಿ ಎಂಬ ಕಲಾವಿದೆಯನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ಮಧ್ಯಮ ವರ್ಗದ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ನೋವು ನಲಿವು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ತ್ಯಾಗಗಳ ಕಥೆಯಿದ್ದ ಚಿತ್ರ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ನೋಡಬೇಕೆನ್ನಿಸುವ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಈಗ ಅದೇ ಟೈಟಲ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಿಗ್‍ಬಾಸ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅನುಪಮಾ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಾಯಕಿ. ದೇವಿಶ್ರೀಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು. ವಿ.ಮನೋಹರ್ ಸಂಗೀತವಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಈಗ ಕೊನೆಯ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

ಇದು ಗಾರ್ಮೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ನೌಕರರ ಕಥೆ. ಅನುಪಮಾ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾರ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಯಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗಂಡ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗದೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕುಳಿತಾಗ ಆ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಸಂಸಾರವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆಯಂತೆ.

ಅಕ್ಕ ಧಾರಾವಾಹಿಯಿಂದ ಮನೆಮನೆ ಮಾತಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅನುಪಮಾ, ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿತೆರೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಮಿಂಚಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ತ್ರಯಂಬಕಂ ಎಂದರೆ ಶಿವನ ಮೂರನೇ ಕಣ್ಣು ಎಂದರ್ಥ. ಅಮರಕೋಶ ಓದಿದವರಿಗೆ ಇದು ಖಂಡಿತಾ ಗೊತ್ತಿರುತ್ತೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ಹೆಸರು ಹೀಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿರೋದು ನವಪಾಶಾಣದ ಕಥೆ. ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾನೊಂದು ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸ್ಥಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಔಷಧದ ಕಥೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 5000 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಥೆ. ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಟಚ್ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಾಹಸಕ್ಕೂ ಹೋಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಆಗಿನ ಆ ಕಥೆಗೂ, ಈಗಿನ ಈ ನವಮಾನಸಕ್ಕೂ ಎತ್ತಣಿಂದೆತ್ತಣ ಸಂಬಂಧ..? ಚಿತ್ರದ ಹೆಸರಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಇಡೀ ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೀಟಿನ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕೂರಿಸುತ್ತೆ. ಕೌತುಕ ಅಂಶಗಳಿವೆ. ಒಂದು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಸ್ಪೆನ್ಸ್ ಥ್ರಿಲ್ಲರ್ ಅನ್ನೋ ಭರವಸೆ ಕೊಡ್ತಾರೆ ಅನುಪಮಾ ಗೌಡ.

ಕರಾಳ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಟ್ಟಿಗಿತ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಗಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ಅನುಪಮಾಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಜರ್ನಲಿಸ್ಟ್ ಪಾತ್ರ. ಇವರ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿರೋದು ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್. ರಾಘಣ್ಣನ 2ನೇ ಇನ್ನಿಂಗ್ಸ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ 2ನೇ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಇದು.

ದಯಾಳ್ ಪದ್ಮನಾಭನ್ ಈ ನವಪಾಶಾಣದ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ ದೇವರಾಯನನ್ನು ಈಗಿನ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದು ಹೇಗೆ ಅನ್ನೋದೇ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ರಹಸ್ಯ. ಆ ರಹಸ್ಯ ಥಿಯೇಟರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಲಿದೆ.
