The team of Prajwal Devaraj-Nishvika Naidu starrer 'Gentleman' has decided to re-release the film, after the Government gives green signal to start the screening.

'Gentleman' was released in the third week of February and the film opened to good reviews from critics as well as the audience. However, due to Lockdown and other reasons, the screening was stopped. Now producer Guru Deshapande has decided to re-release the film once the screening resumes.

'We had got a good response from the audience. Even the songs and the trailer had become a huge hit in social media. However, as the theaters got closed due to lockdown, our film got affected. Now we have decide to re-release the film in theaters once the screening starts' says Guru Deshapande.

'Gentleman' is being directed by Jadesh who had earlier directed 'Raja Hamsa'. Jadesh himself has written the story and screenplay apart from directing it. The film is based on sleeping syndrome. The film stars Prajwal, Nishvika, Sanchari Vijay and others in prominent roles.

'Inspector Vikram' producer Vikyath had announced that he is planning to release the film on the 12th of February across Karnataka. Now, that 'Pogaru' has been announced on February 19th, Vikyath has preponed the film and the film will be now coming to theaters on the 05th of February.

'Inspector Vikram' is all set to be released on the 05th of February and the team is planning to announce it on Wednesday during a Live in social media. Prajwal Devaraj will be announcing the release date of the film in the Live program.

'Inspector Vikram' stars Prajwal, Bhavana Menon, Raghu Mukherjee and others in prominent roles. Darshan will be seen in an extended guest appearance in this film. As Darshan plays a prominent character, it will be the first star film to release post lockdown.

'Inspector Vikram' was launched three years back. Though the shooting of the film got completed within a year, the film could not be released due to various reasons. The team had earlier planned to release the film in May 2020. The film was also censored in February 2020 itself. But due to Covid 19 the release was pushed further and the film will be finally released in 2021.

Actress Aindrita Ray is upset with news channel for wrongly accusing Prajwal and Diganth in the accident that occurred near South End Circle in Bangalore.

Recently, liquor baron Adikeshavalu's grandson was involved in an accident and Prajwal and Diganth's names were also involved in the case. Though there are no proof against both the actors, the news channels went on accusing the two in the case which has not only upset the two, but also the Sandalwood fraternity. Many celebrities including Jagggesh, Ambarish, Prem, Vijay Raghavendra and others have come in support of them.

Aindrita Ray also has come in support with the due and has slashed the news channels for wrongly projecting Prajwal and Diganth's name in the whole issue. Aindrita has said that she has lost hope in news channels as they are stooping to such low levels.

Actress Aishwarya Sindhogi who made her acting debut through Vijay's 'Simhadri' has turned item dancer with Prajwal Devaraj starrer 'Bhujanga' being directed by Jeeva. 'Bhujanga' stars Prajwal along with Meghana Raj and the shooting of the film is almost nearing completion. Meanwhile, a special item song featuring Prajwal and Aishwarya was shot at the Kanteerava Studio in Bangalore.

The item song is written by V Nagendra Prasad and composed by Poornachandra Tejaswi. The song is choreographed by dance master Ramu.

'Bhujanga' is written by B A Madhu and produced by Varuna Mahesh.

Prajwal Devaraj is playing the role named Arjun Gowda in the upcoming film of the same name. The film is being produced under Ramu Enterprises and will be directed by Lucky Shankar. The film has nothing to do with the Telugu film Arjun Reddy though the names are similar.

There was speculation that it was a remake. However the remake rights have been purchased by another Sandalwood producer sources said. Arjun Gowda is an action film that Ramu Enterprises team has come up with the story for.

Shooting for the film will start only in April by which time Prajwal is expected to complete shooting for Life Jote Ondu Selfie with Dinakar Toogudeepa and Inspector Vikram.

Prajwal Devaraj's Arjuna has been censored with U/A certificate with run time of 145 minutes. Movie is directed PC Shekhar. In the begining Arjuna was titled as Kshatriya.

Arjun Janya is the music director and Kumaran is the cinematographer.

Speaking to chitraloka director PC Shekhar told earlier we had planned release of the movie for September 4th. Since Duniya Vijay's RX Soori is releasing on that day we may be releasing on 11th or 18th.

Ever since Raambo-2's phenomenal success, fortune seems to be favouring the pretty Ashika Ranganath, who has been the hot favourite for the filmmakers. Days after she signed 'Raymo' being directed by Pavan Wadeyar, she has bagged another one, and this one stars Dynamic Prince Prajwal Devaraj in the lead.

The yet-to-be titled project being directed by P C Shekar of Romeo, Raaga and The Terrorist fame, has revealed that Ashika Ranganath will be playing the female lead in his next starring Prajwal Devaraj. 

"Ashika will be seen in a different role in this one, where she will play the role of a doctor. Unlike her previous characters, this one will showcase her in a serious mode and more than dialogues, expressions will play a major role," says director P C Shekar.

As earlier said, the film will revolve around an underworld gangster, to be played by Prajwal Devaraj, wherein he will be seen in three different shades in the movie. "Unlike the regular underworld subject, this one will be based on undercurrent scenario without the presence of long machetes (macchu/longu)," Shekar concludes.

Actress Bhavana who recently got married to producer Naveen has signed a new film and the actress will be seen in 'Inspector Vikram' opposite Prajwal Devaraj.

'Inspector Vikram' is Prajwal Devaraj's 30th film as an actor and the film is being produced by Vikyath who had earlier produced 'Pushpaka Vimana'. Narasimha will be making his debut as a director through this film.

The film has been launched silently and Bhavana will be joining the sets on the 07th of February.

'The shooting for Prajwal Devaraj and Meghana Raj starrer 'Bhujanga' has been completed and the songs of the film are all set to release on 17th of January. The songs of the film are composed by music director Poornachandra Tejaswi.

This time the team has organised the audio release of the film in Sir M V Stadium in Mandya and the audio will be released amidst much fanfare at the stadium on Sunday night. The guest list is yet to be announced and Ambarish and Ramya are likely to release the songs.

Well known comedian Bullet Prakash who was shooting for his latest film 'Bhujanga' got injured during the shooting of the film in Mysore on Tuesday morning. Bullet Prakash along with hero Prajwal Devaraj was busy participating in a bike jumping scene for the film. The bike was tightly tied by a rope and during the shooting, the rope got cut and Bullet Prakash had to jump from the bike. Immediately, the crew members of the film rushed to the scene and caught Bullet Prakash.

Bullet Prakash who had some minor injuries was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was advised rest for a couple of days. The shooting is likely to commence this afternoon.

Sandalwood's most expected film 'Gentleman' starring Prajwal Devaraj, which revolves around a man who sleeps for 18 hours a day, is waking up all Indians for a reason. Penning his first ever patriotic song, the versatile filmmaker and a popular lyricist Yogaraj Bhat says, "Swami Vivekananda woke up the sleeping Indians. I was trying to wake up this character played by Prajwal Devara in the movie. That was my brief for the song. This guy sleeps for 18 hours a day. I had to write the lyrics that would match the character's problems and also be a motivation".

One of India's popular folk singer Anthony Daasan, who has a huge fan following in Kananda after the smashing hit number Tagaru Bantu Tagaru from Tagaru, returns this time for Guru Deshpande's 'Gentleman'.

"We felt Anthony Daasan's voice will best suit the patriotic song composed by Ajaneesh. It is one of the highest of our album. We are releasing the teaser of the song on Republic Day and the full version of it on January 29th. The film made under Guru Deshpande Production is directed by one of his long time associate Jadesh Kumar, who has scripted a unique tale which spins around a man who suffers from a unique neurological disorder, which is also called sleeping beauty. Gurudutt Ganiga who made his debut as a director with Ambarish's last film 'Ambi Ninge Vayassaitho' is back with a new film. The new film will feature Prajwal Devaraj in lead role and is touted as an action thriller.

After 'Ambi Ninge Vayassaitho' it was said that Gurudutt may direct Ambarish's son Abhishek Ambarish. However, the film could not happen due to various reasons. Now Gurudutt will be directing Prajwal in a new film, which is all said to be launched next year.

Gurudutt says that Prajwal is playing such a role for the first time in his career and the film is based on human trafficking. As of now, Gurudutt is planning to do the photo shoot of the film in a grand way and release the first look of the film in the first week of January.
