ಕವಚ, ಇದು ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಹೊಸ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಅಂದಹಾಗೆ 15 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ರೀಮೇಕ್ ಚಿತ್ರವೂ ಹೌದು. ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಧನ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Ravichandran starrer 'Dasharatha' which was launched two years back is all set to release on the 05th of April along with Shivarajakumar starr 'Kavacha'.

'Dasharatha' is directed by writer turned director M S Ramesh. The film was launched along with 'Bakasura' and 'Rajendra Ponnappa' on the auspicious days of Mahashivaratri festival in 2017. However, the film got delayed due to various reasons and now the film is all set to release on the 05th of April.

'Dasharatha' stars Ravichandran, Sonia Agarwal, Priyamani and others in prominent roles. Gurukiran is the music director, while G S V Seetharam is the cinematographer.

The shooting for Shivarajakumar's new film 'Kavacha' which is a remake of Malayalam hit 'Oppam' has been completed and the film is currently in the post-production stage.

Actor Ananth Nag who is busy with his acting commitments has given voice over for Shivarajakumar's new film 'Kavacha' which is all set to hit the screens on the 05th of April. Ananth Nag will be taking the film forward by telling the story.

This is not the first time, that Ananth Nag has given voice over for any film. The actor had given voice over to to 'KGF' trailer, which had become a huge hit. Now Ananth Nag has done his bit for Shivarajakumar's film.

Impressed by the content of Malayalam hit movie ‘Oppam’, century star Shivarajkumar made an exception to act in a remake venture after 14 long years. And, the decision to do so has worked very well as 'Kavacha’ results as a perfect entertainer which is emotionally wrapped with a brilliant climax.

While the director has retained a majority of the sequences from the original, it is the additional commercial touch to the script which appeals to the Kannada audience. Also high on emotions, the revenge plot is the essence of the tale. Shivarajkumar as a visually challenged person is up against a person who is on a killing spree. In here, he does odd-jobs in an apartment for living.

The tale gets twisted when the protagonist is entrusted with the responsibility of taking care of the daughter of a retired judge, who is later killed. Along with being a guardian, the visually challenged character has a secret to protect from the anti-social element.

Isha Koppikar and Kruthika Jayakumar are impressive with their limited roles and Vashishta is at his usual best with an on-screen cut-throat personality. The real action lies in the second half which leads to a nail-biting end.

A must watch for Shivanna fans, Kavacha has everything the audience would seek in a well balanced commercial entertainer.

ಮಫ್ತಿ, ಶಿವಣ್ಣನನ್ನು ಬೇರೆಯದೇ ಇಮೇಜ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ಇಡೀ ಸಿನಿಮಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ನಟಿಸಿ ಸೈ ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತದ್ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದ ಪಾತ್ರ ಕವಚ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀರೋಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿದ್ದರೂ ಕಾಣಲ್ಲ. ಅದೇ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಚಾಲೆಂಜ್. ಆ ಚಾಲೆಂಜ್‍ನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಶಿವಣ್ಣ.

ಅದೊಂದು ವಿಶೇಷ ಚಾಲೆಂಜ್. ಕಪ್ಪು ಕನ್ನಡಕ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ನಟಿಸಬಹುದಿತ್ತು. ಅದು ಸುಲಭದ ದಾರಿ. ಆದರೆ, ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಕೆಲವು ಅಂಧರನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ, ಬಾಡಿ ಲಾಂಗ್ವೇಜ್ ಬದಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇದುವರೆಗಿನ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕವಚ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪಾತ್ರ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಡಿದೆ. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ರಿಯಲ್ ಲೈಫಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಾ ಆ ಪಾತ್ರದೊಳಗೆ ಜೀವಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಶಿವರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್.

ಶಿವರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಕವಚ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಅನಂತ್ ನಾಗ್ ಧ್ವನಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಂತ್ ಅವರ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಕವಚ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕ್ಲೈಮಾಕ್ಸ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಂತ್ ಅವರ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ವಾಯ್ಸ್ ನೀಡುವ ವೇಳೆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕೆಲವು ದೃಶ್ಯ, ಶಿವಣ್ಣನ ಅಭಿನಯ ನೋಡಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡರಂತೆ ಅನಂತ್. 

ಜಿವಿಆರ್ ವಾಸು ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಅಂಧನಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೇಬಿ ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ, ಇಶಾ ಕೊಪ್ಪಿಕರ್, ಕೃತ್ತಿಕಾ, ರಾಜೇಶ್ ನಟರಂಗ ನಟಿಸಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಸಿಷ್ಠ ಸಿಂಹ ವಿಲನ್. ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಜನ್ಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಹಾಡುಗಳು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಗಳಿಸಿವೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಹಲವು ವಿಶೇಷತೆಗಳನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಥಾ ಹಂದರ ಹೇಳುವವರಾಗಿ ಮೆರುಗು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅನಂತ್ ನಾಗ್.

ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 6ಕ್ಕೆ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕವಚ ಚಿತ್ರ ಸೆನ್ಸಾರ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಸ್ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಶಿವರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್, ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಅಂಧನ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿರುವ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಕವಚ. ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಯು/ಎ ಸರ್ಟಿಫಿಕೇಟ್ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ.

ಶಿವರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್, ಬೇಬಿ ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ, ಇಶಾ ಕೊಪ್ಪಿಕರ್, ರವಿಕಾಳೆ, ರಾಜೇಶ್ ನಟರಂಗ, ವಸಿಷ್ಟ ಸಿಂಹ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎಂ.ವಿ.ವಿ. ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ. ರಾಮ್‍ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಜೊತೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿ ಅನುಭವವಿದ್ದ ಜಿವಿಆರ್ ವಾಸು, ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ. ಇಂತಹ ಕಥೆ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸದು. ಖಂಡಿತಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ವಾಸು.

2018ರ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಬೇಕಿದ್ದ ಶಿವರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಕವಚ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊನೆಗೂ ಮುಹೂರ್ತ ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 5ಕ್ಕೆ ಕವಚ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ಪ್ರೊಡಕ್ಷನ್ ಕೆಲಸಗಳು ವಿಳಂಬವಾದ ಕಾರಣ, ರಿಲೀಸ್ ವಿಳಂಬವಾಯ್ತು ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ. ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ನಟಿಸಿರುವ ರೀಮೇಕ್ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಇದು. ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಅಂಧನಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಶಿವಣ್ಣ. ರಾಮ್‍ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ವರ್ಮಾ ಬಳಿ ಸಹನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಜಿವಿಆರ್ ವಾಸು, ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ.

ಇಶಾ ಕೊಪ್ಪಿಕರ್, ಕೃತಿಕಾ, ರವಿಕಾಳೆ, ರಾಜೇಶ್ ನಟರಂಗ ಮೊದಲಾದರು ನಟಿಸಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಸಿಷ್ಠ ಸಿಂಹ ವಿಲನ್. ಬೇಬಿ ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರಧಾರಿ.

ಶಿವರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಕವಚ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡ ಪ್ಲಾನ್ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲೇ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳಿಂದ ಜನವರಿಗೆ ಮುಂದೂಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಕವಚ, ಈಗ ಮತ್ತೆ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿಗೆ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿದೆ.

ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ತೊಂದರೆ ಏನಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲ. ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸಿರುವ ಪದವೊಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೆನ್ಸಾರ್‍ನವರು ಆಕ್ಷೇಪ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಪದ ಜೋಡಿಸಿ, ಡಬ್ಬಿಂಗ್‍ನಲ್ಲೂ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗದಂತೆ ನೋಡುವ ಸಾಹಸದಲ್ಲಿದೆಯಂತೆ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ.  ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಶಿವರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್ ರೀಮೇಕ್ ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು, ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡು ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನವ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೇ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುತೂಹಲ ನೂರು ಪಟ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ.

ವರ್ಮಾ ಬಳಿ ಸಹಾಯಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿದ್ದ ವಾಸು, ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜನವರಿ 18ಕ್ಕೆ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ತಯಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಕೂಡಾ ಸಂಭ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

14 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಶಿವರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್ ನಟಿಸಿರುವ ರೀಮೇಕ್ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಕವಚ. ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಅಂಧನ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿರುವ ಶಿವಣ್ಣ, ತಮಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ರೀಮೇಕ್ ಮಾಡಲ್ಲ ಅನ್ನೋ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧವನ್ನ 14 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಮುರಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ, ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ.

ಇದು ಮಲಯಾಳಂನ ಒಪ್ಪಂ ಚಿತ್ರದ ರೀಮೇಕ್. ಅಂಧನೊಬ್ಬ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಬಾಲಕಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೋರಾಡುವ ಕಥೆ. ಅದರ ಜೊತೆ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಕೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಕಾರಣ, ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳು.

`ವೊರಿಜಿನಲ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಥೀಮ್‍ನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಶೇ.50ರಷ್ಟು ಕಥೆ, ಚಿತ್ರಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಹಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಏಳೆಂಟು ತಿಂಗಳು ಚಿತ್ರದ ಚಿತ್ರಕಥೆಗಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಸಿಟ್ಟಿಂಗ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು'' ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಜಿವಿಆರ್ ವಾಸು.

ರಾಮ್ ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ವರ್ಮಾ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಹ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿದ್ದ ವಾಸು, ಕಿಲ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ವೀರಪ್ಪನ್ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ಅಸಿಸ್ಟೆಂಟ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಪರಿಚಯವಾಗಿದ್ದರಂತೆ ಶಿವಣ್ಣ. ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ರೀಮೇಕ್ ಮಾಡಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ, ಕಥೆ ಸಿದ್ಧ ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡರು ಎಂದು ಖುಷಿಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಡೈರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ವಾಸು. ಕವಚ ರಿಲೀಸ್‍ಗೆ ರೆಡಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
