Bruhaspati is the Kannada remake of the Tamil film VIP. It is Manoranjan Ravichandran's second film after Saheba. He has improved leaps and bounds in this film. Bruhaspati has turned out to be a very good film and is a great start to Kannada films this year. 

The story revolves around Sudheer, an engineer who is without a job. He has no backing in life and coming from a middle-class background he is unable to get himself into a good position in life. While his younger brother is earning handsomely Sudheer is left stranded. A girl moves next door and even she is earning good money in a job. It seems only Sudheer is the odd one. How Sudheer manages to make good of his life and start a career forms the rest of the story. 

It is a simple story about ordinary characters but the story makes heroes out of the characters without being dependent on heroism or buildups. There are good songs and good camerawork and the story moves swiftly without diverting into unwanted territory. It is slick and there is no lag anywhere in the film. Even the songs are made to flow smoothly along with the narrative. 

Nanda Kishore has made a good film and should be proud of it. Manoranjan as said earlier has improved a lot. His acting and dialogue delivery has improved a lot and he is perfect for the role. We can say a star is born with this film. 

There is overall good acting from all the actors. Saikumar, Sithara and Sadhu Kokila stand out. Harikrishana has scored some good tunes and one that is sung by Puneeth Rajkumar is particularly catchy. Sathya Hegde has matched the delights of the screenplay with his camera work.

Manoranjan's second film 'Brihaspathi' is all set to be released in the first week of January 2018, hereby making the film to be the first release of that year. Aru Gowda starrer '3 Gante 30 Dina 30 Second' is also likely to be released in the same week itself.

Director Nanda Kishore is now ready with the trailers of the film. One teaser and one trailer are on the way. It is likely to be released on December 1. Sources say that the trailer will be tagged to the film Mufti which is releasing then. There are six songs in the film and they are also planned to be launched for public shortly.

The year 2018 has just started and already many Kannada films have lined up for release in the next few months. Prominently five to six prominent and much expected Kannada films are all set to release in the month of January itself.

The year will start with the release of Manoranjan's second film 'Brihaspathi'. The film will be released on the 05th of this month, followed by 'Humble Politician Nogaraj' (Jan 12th), 'Raju Kannada Medium' and 'Dandupalya 3' (Jan 19th), 'Kanaka' and 'Rajaratha' in the last week of January.

Apart from these major releases, many small budgeted films are also eyeing for release dates.

ಹರಿಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡುಗಳು ಅದ್ದೂರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿವೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ಟ್ರೇಲರ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರ ಮಡಿಲಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಮನೋರಂಜನ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಹೊಸ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ರಾಕ್‍ಲೈನ್ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ನಂದಕಿಶೋರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಜನವರಿ 5 ರಂದು ತೆರೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ರವಿಚಂದ್ರನ್ ಪುತ್ರನ ಅಭಿನಯದ 2ನೇ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಕುತೂಹಲ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿರುವುದು ಸತ್ಯ. 

ಪುರಾಣ, ರಾಮಾಯಣ, ಮಹಾಭಾರತದ ಅರಿವಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಇರುವವರಿಗೆ ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಏನು..? ಯಾರು..? ಎಂಬ ಕುತೂಹಲ ಸಹಜ. ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ ಎಂದರೆ, ಬೃಹದಾಕಾರದ ಜಾಗ ಎನ್ನುವ ಪದದ ಅರ್ಥ.

ಆದರೆ, ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಆಫರ್ ಬಂದಾಗ ಮನೋರಂಜನ್‍ಗೆ ಸಣ್ಣದೊಂದು ಭಯವೂ ಇತ್ತು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಅದು ತಮಿಳಿನ ಧನುಷ್ ಅಭಿನದಯ ಚಿತ್ರದ ರೀಮೇಕ್. ತಮಿಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಐಪಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಧನುಷ್ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ 25ನೇ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಅಭಿನಯದ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ, ಧನುಷ್‍ಗೆ ಧನುಷ್‍ರೇ ಸಾಟಿ.

ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿನಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಶೇಡ್‍ಗಳಿವೆ. ಈ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲೆನಾ ಎಂಬ ಆತಂಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ರಾಕ್‍ಲೈನ್ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ನಂದಕಿಶೋರ್. ಈಗ ಚಿತ್ರ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತೆರೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನೋಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂಡಾ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಧನುಷ್ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಬೇಡಿ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಮನೋರಂಜನ್ ವಿನಂತಿ.

ಕಳೆದ 2 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಈ ದಾಖಲೆ ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಬಳಿಯೇ ಇತ್ತು. ಈ ವರ್ಷ.. ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲ ಮುಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷ ಈ ದಾಖಲೆ ಮನೋರಂಜನ್ ರವಿಚಂದ್ರನ್ ಪಾಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಯಾವ ದಾಖಲೆ ಅಂತೀರಾ..?

ನಂದಕಿಶೋರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ, ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ತುಂಬುವಂತಹಾ ಕಥೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಜ್ಯೂನಿಯರ್ ಕ್ರೇಜಿಸ್ಟಾರ್‍ಗೆ ಶುಭವಾಗಲಿ.

ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ಅಂಥಾ ಯುವಕನ ಕಥೆ. ತಪ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆತು, ಗೆಲುವಿನ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗುವ ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿಯ ಕಥೆ. ಸೋಲನ್ನೇ ಸೋಪಾನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ, ಹತಾಶೆಯನ್ನೇ ಹಾಸಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ, ಹಳಹಳಿಸುವುದನ್ನೇ ಜೀವನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವರು.. ಮತ್ತೆ ಗೆಲುವಿನತ್ತ ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗುವ ಕಸನು ಬಿತ್ತಲಿದೆಯಂತೆ ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ಗೆಲುವಿಗಾಗಿ ಹಪಹಪಿಸುವ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಕನಸು ರಾಕ್‍ಲೈನ್ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್, ನಂದಕಿಶೋರ್, ಮನೋರಂಜನ್ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಇದೆ.
