Chethan starrer 'Atiratha' being directed by Mahesh Babu is all set to be released on the 24th of November across Karnataka.

'Atiratha' marks the debut of Sadhu Kokila's son Surag as the music director and recently actor Puneeth Rajakumar released the songs of the film.

'Atiratha' stars 'Aa Dinagalu' Chethan, Latha Hegde, Achyuth Kumar, Kabir Singh Duhan, Avinash, Sadhu Kokila and others in prominent roles. The film is being produced by Prem, Dr Venugopal and Gandasi Manjunath. Jai Anand is the cameraman.

Mahesh Babu is back and this time he has chosen an action film. Athiratha has a very contemporary and relevant subject. It is about the problem of fake marks cards and question papers. Babu has handled it like a pro and given a film that should get full marks at the box office.

Chetan plays the lead role and his character is that of a reporter. The reporter is waiting for a big ticket chance. But he has to confront a dangerous and mindblowing crime involving a gang. Using fake marks cards and certificates and using it for other illegal activities, a gang has amassed a large amount of money. Chetan unravels it. But he is caught in the whirlpool and has to save himself first. How he manages to expose the crime and at the same time save himself forms the rest of the story. 

Athiratha is an action fuelled ride that takes the audience on a thrilling ride from the word go. Most of the first half is a romance story between Chetan and Latha Hegde. But once the issue of the gang and the fake degree certificates enter, it is an action packed thriller and suspense ride. 

Chetan and Latha Hegde have done a good job. Kabir Duhan Singh plays the main villain in the film. He makes an impressive peformance. There is also good supporting cast in the form of Avinash, Achyuth and Sadhu Kokila. 

The second half of the film is especially good with a number of twists and turns in the plot. Sadhu Kokila's son has made his debut as a composer in this film and there are two good melodies he has given. The various twists and turns in the story in the second half is a bit confusing for some but it reveals a very good command over the mystery element by the director. 

Athiratha is a welcome break from the routine commercial films. It has a good story to boast of and makes you think for a change. Don't miss to watch this thriller. 

Kabir Duhan Singh who made his Sandalwood debut in Sudeep's Hebbuli is turning up for his second Kannada film this week. Mahesh Babu directed Athiratha is his second Kannada film and releasing this Friday. Kabir played the role of the main villain in Hebbuli directed by Krishna and won praise for his performance.

It did not take long after Hebbuli for Sandalwood film makers to notice him. Kabir has made a mark for himself in Telugu films starting from Jil and Kick 2. Some of his other films include Sardar Gabbar Singh and Dictator in Telugu. He also entered Tamil in films like Vedalam and Rekka. His Kannada career has taken off in a big way due to the big success of Hebbuli.

Vinay Rajakumar's third film 'Ananthu Versus Nusrath' was launched early this month. Though the movie was launched the heroine for the film was not selected. Now Latha Hegade has not only been selected as the heroine,  but the photo shoot was also held on Saturday.

The photo shoot of Nusrath's character played by Latha Hegade was held at the Cottonpet Darga in Bangalore on Saturday. Latha Hegade and others were present.

While, Latha Hegade is portraying the title role of Nusrath, Vinay Rajakumar will be seen as Ananthu. The film is a love story set in the court backdrop. Debuntane Sridhar Shanbhogue is not only directing the film, but also has scripted it. The shooting for the film which is being produced by Manikya Productions will be starting from the month of October.

ಇವೆಲ್ಲದರ ಜೊತೆ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಥ್ರಿಲ್ಲರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಆ್ಯಕ್ಷನ್ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳಿವೆಯಂತೆ. ಲತಾ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಎಂಬ ಬಳುಕುವ ಬಳ್ಳಿ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಯಕಿ.

ಅತಿರಥ.. ಅದು ಲತಾ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರ ಮೊದಲ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ಕನ್ನಡತಿಯಾದರೂ ಓದಿದ್ದು, ಬೆಳೆದಿದ್ದು ನ್ಯೂಜಿಲೆಂಡ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ. ಆದರೆ, ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹೆಸರು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕನಸು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದ ಹುಡುಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗವನ್ನು. ಈಗ ಅವರು ನಟಿಸಿರುವ ಅತಿರಥ ಚಿತ್ರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.

ವಿಶೇಷವೆಂದರೆ, ಹೊಸ ನಾಯಕಿಯರ ಹೆಸರು ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲ ಲತಾ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಹೆಸರು ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಲೇ ಇತ್ತು. ಮಹೇಶ್ ಬಾಬು ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿನಯಕ್ಕೂ ಪ್ರಾಧಾನ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂಬ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೇ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಲತಾ ಹೆಗಡೆ. ಇದಾದ ನಂತರ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಡಿಮ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಇದ್ದರೂ, ಲತಾ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು ಅನಂತು v/s ನುಸ್ರತ್ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ.

ಚೇತನ್ ಎದುರು ಮುದ್ದು ಮುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುವ ಲತಾ, ಅತಿರಥ ಚಿತ್ರದಿಂದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬ್ರೇಕ್ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ವಿನಯ್ ರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್, ಲತಾ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿನಯ್, ಲಾಯರ್ ಅನಂತ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ, ಜಡ್ಜ್ ನುಸ್ರತ್ ಫಾತಿಮಾ  ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರೋದು ಲತಾ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ. ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಿಶ್ರಿತ ನವಿರು ಪ್ರೇಮಕಥೆಗೆ ಸುಧೀರ್ ಶಾನ್‍ಬೋಗ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನವಿದೆ. ಮಾಣಿಕ್ಯ ಪ್ರೊಡಕ್ಷನ್ಸ್ ಲಾಂಛನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ರೆಡಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ವಿನಯ್ ರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ 3ನೇ ಚಿತ್ರ ಅನಂತು ವ/ಸ ನುಸ್ರತ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಶುರುವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಹೀರೋಯಿನ್ ಯಾರು ಅನ್ನೋದು ಫೈನಲ್ ಆಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅತಿರಥ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಲತಾ ಹೆಗಡೆ, ವಿನಯ್ ರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಅನಂತು ವ/ಸ ನುಸ್ರತ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಾಯಕಿ.

ಕನ್ನಡದ ಹುಡುಗಿಯಾದರೂ, ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಬೆಳೆದಿದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಲ ನ್ಯೂಜಿಲ್ಯಾಂಡ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ. ಮೊದಲು ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದು ಟಾಲಿವುಡ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ. ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಈತಾಗಲೇ ಅತಿರಥ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಲತಾ ಹೆಗಡೆಗೆ, ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು 2ನೇ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಘೋಷಣೆಯೊಂದು ಬಾಕಿ ಇದೆ.

ಅತಿರಥ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಥೆ ಏನು..? ಈ ಕುತೂಹಲಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಇಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಕಲಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳ ಹಾವಳಿಯ ಕುರಿತ ಕಥೆಯಿದೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ನಕಲಿ ಸರ್ಟಿಫಿಕೇಟ್‍ಗಳು ಹೇಗೆಲ್ಲ ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿವೆ ಎಂಬ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಮೈಂಡ್‍ಗೇಮ್ ಇಂಟ್ರೆಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನಟ ಚೇತನ್. ಮಹೇಶ್ ಬಾಬು ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಮಿಡಿಯುವ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸೊಗಸಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಡ್ತಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಚೇತನ್, ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲೂ ಅಂತಹ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳು ಚಿತ್ರದ ಹೈಲೈಟ್ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಚಿತ್ರ ಥಿಯೇಟರ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಹೋರಾಟದ ಮನೋಭಾವ ಇರುವವರಿಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರ ಖಂಡಿತಾ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಚೇತನ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಭರವಸೆ. ಅಂದಹಾಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೇತನ್ ಅವರದ್ದು ಟಿವಿ ಜರ್ನಲಿಸ್ಟ್ ಪಾತ್ರ.
