Sharan's new film 'Rambo 2' which was released on 18th of May in Nartaki and other theaters across Karnataka is running successfully. Meanwhile, the film is all set to be released across USA on the 02nd of June. The fill will also be released in Australia on the same day.

Sharan starter Raambo 2 has successfully completed hundred days. This film is one of the few hits in Sandalwood this year. The film completed 100 days in two single screen theatres in Mysuru and Shivamogga and several Multiplex screens across Karnataka including Bengaluru. 

The film completed the successful run in Gayathri and HPC theatres of Mysuru and Shivamogga and in DRC multiplex in Mysuru, The Cinemas, PVR, Carnival, Gopalan, Inox and Cinepolis multiplexes in Bengaluru. The film has also turned out to be a big hit overseas. It was released in several countries including USA and Canada. Raambo 2 brought together Sharan and producer Atlanta Nagendra together after their collaboration in Raambo earlier. The thriller also stars Chikkanna, Ravishankar and others.

After delivering the superhit film Raambo in 2012, the trio - Sharan, Tharun Sudhir and Nagendra returned after a gap of six year with its sequel - Raambo-2, which went on to become the most successful movie for the year 2018. The movie which released on May 18, 2018, is celebrating its first anniversary at the box office.

Apart from being Sharan's first ever film in the lead as hero to complete 100 days at the box office, both in single screens and multiplexes across the state, the movie also introduced new talents such as choreographer Bhushan, playback singers Mehboob and Aditi Sagar to the sandalwood.

The movie which almost had every technician from Raambo working in its sequel was co-produced by Tharun Sudhir, Arjun Janya, Chikkanna, Sudhakar Raj, Prakash K M, Mohan B Kere and Narasmiha Jalahalli. 

Apart from being the highest grossing movie of 2018, its television premiere recorded the highest TRP as per the BARC rating. And, one of the it's most popular number Chutu Chutu has crossed a record 80 million hits on YouTube alone. Furthermore, most of its songs were top chartbusters on FM stations for several weeks.

Insofar as director Tharun Sudhir, who has had a superhit combination with Sharan for films like Raambo, Victory, Victory 2, and Adyaksha, worked as the creative head for Raambo-2.

Finally, Atlanta Nagendra, joined the hattrick club with Raambo-2 after his previous two hit films Raambo and Joke Falls. 

Actress Aindrita Ray who was last seen in 'Melukote Manja' and 'Chauka' is back with 'Rambo 2'. This time the actress is seen in a special song called 'Dum Maro Dum'. The song has been sung by actor-art director Arun Sagar's  daughter Aditi.

On this occasion, it celebrates its most popular video song from the movie Rambo 2 - 'Chutu Chutu’ on its YouTube channel with has crossed 75 million plus views, making it the most watched Kannada video song on YouTube.

The song is composed by Arjun Janya in the voice of Ravindra Soragavi and Shamita Malnad. It is is penned by Shivu Bergi, which features Sharan and Ashika for the film Rambo 2 directed by Anil Kumar.

One of the biggest Kannada hits of 2018, Raambo-2 is heading to the USA in a grand manner. The film is being screened in 40 locations across the USA including Washington DC, Los Angeles, Kansas City, San Diego, Minneapolis, Detroit, Salt Lake City, Sacramento, Atlanta, Miami, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Seattle. Apart from the US, the film is also releasing in Canada. 

While producers Sharan and Atlanta Nagendra have tied up with Kasturi Meida in US, for the Canada release they have tied up with Dreams Media. This is one of the biggest releases for a Kannada film in North America. The film is turning out to be a blockbuster in Karnataka since its release a week ago.

In the first week itself the film has reportedly made it to the profit zone. Sharan and Nagendra have come together after six years and many of the technicians who worked in the first film are together again after a long time. It is a co-production of the technicians. The comedy combined with a thriller suspense story has caught the imagination of the audience.

Last Friday's Kannada release Raambo 2 has taken a tremendous opening at the box office. The opening weekend including Sunday has been above expectations according to trade sources. The film released in over 200 screens across Karnataka.

There was a big demand for the film from exhibitors as a big Kannada film has not released in the last few weeks. However the screens were limited to maximise the first week collections. The film has  managed houseful shows in most centers it is released. Backed on this trade analysts point out that Raambo 2 has taken one of the biggest first weekend collections in Karnataka in 2018.

Raambo 2 is also one of the big budget Kannada films of 2018.

Six years after Rambo, Sharan and Atlanta Nagendra and the rest of the team is back together for the sequel. Raambo 2 is an amazing film that mixes mystery and thriller with comedy and emotional drama. It is over two hours of an entertaining journey. However there is no connection with the original film in terms of story or characters. It is something new which has a connection in the form of a car playing an important role. 

Sharan plays Krishna aka Krish. From childhood, he always seeks variety in all the things he does. So his parents have to change homes and home towns often. Finally he is seen as a grown up in Goa where he is a car mechanic. His last aim in life is to find the girl of his dreams. But there is no one that matches his ideas. Finally he meets the girl of his dream and before proposing to her wants to go on a one-day road trip with her. The fun joy trip suddenly turns out to be a nightmare as he and the girl and another person have to race for their lives literally. 

The suspense is revealed only towards the end and there is a small emotional story that is added to the film. The film starts as a fun ride. When Devanahalli Jayanna aka DJ played by Chikkanna joins the couple on the ride, it turns out to be a full-fledged comedy show. Brilliant jokes with superb dialogues makes it a very fun film to watch. There are also some very good songs in the film. Arjun Janya has managed to give his best to the film. 

In the second half there is a surprising package of a thrilling character. The introduction of this brilliant character changes the dynamics of the film. Credit should be given to the director for coming up with such a story which gives importance to not only the characters but also minute details. Ravishnakar's entry to the film post interval is an amazing experiment with screenplay. 

There is so much work done behind the scenes in Raambo 2. Superb music, amazing photography, good editing, colourful artwork and choreography catches your eyes. The acting by the four main actors, Sharan, Ashika, Chikkanna and Ravishankar is amazing. Sharan combines comedy with all kinds of emotions. Ashika as an eye candy matches the requirement with her intensity and charming screen presence. Chikkanna steals the show with his perfect comedy timing. Then Ravishankar is a treat to watch in this complex role. Do not miss Raambo 2. It is one of the best films this year.

After the clash of politicians in the Assembly election in the first half of May, it will be the clash of Sandalwood stars after that. The voting for the election is on May 12 and counting of votes is on May 15. The immediate Friday after that is May 18. The clash of Sandalwood films will start right on that day. They will not be released till the elections are over. The election season is considred not good for big budget films. Even today however

Tagaru and Gultoo are making money at the box office. But it will be a risk to release new films with big budgets. Every Friday in the last two weeks a good number of Kannada films are releasing. But stars like Chiru Sarja and Sharan kept away.

Therefore unlike other languages there are no films for summer season in Kannada so far. But this will change in the last two weeks of May.

ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಕ್ಸಾಫೀಸ್ ಮ್ಯಾಜಿಕ್ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿರುವ ರ್ಯಾಂಬೋ 2, ನಾಳೆಯಿಂದ ಅಮೆರಿಕ, ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾ, ಕೆನಡಾಗಳಲ್ಲು ಚುಟುಚುಟು ಎನ್ನಲಿದೆ. ಶರಣ್, ಅಶಿಕಾ ರಂಗನಾಥ್, ಚಿಕ್ಕಣ್ಣ, ರವಿಶಂಕರ್ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಿನಿಮಾ, ವಿದೇಶದ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೂ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗೋದ್ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶಯವಿಲ್ಲ. 

ಅರುಣ್ ಸಾಗರ್, ನಟ, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ, ಕಲಾ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ. ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರುಣ್ ಸಾಗರ್ ಸಕಲಕಲಾವಲ್ಲಭ. ಅವರ ಮಗಳೀಗ ಗಾಯಕಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶರಣ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ರ್ಯಾಂಬೋ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶರಣ್ ಪುತ್ರಿ ಆದಿತಿ, ಹಾಡು ಹಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗಿನ್ನೂ 15 ವರ್ಷ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ವಿಶೇಷ. ಧಮ್ ಮಾರೋ ಧಮ್.. ಎಂಬ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಆದಿತಿ ಅವರಿಂದ ಹಾಡಿಸಿರುವುದು ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಜನ್ಯಾ. 

ಶರಣ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಿಲ್‍ವಾಲ ಅನಿಲ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನವಿದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು ಯಾರು ಎಂದರೆ, ಪಟ್ಟಿ ದೊಡ್ಡದಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಟ್ಲಾಂಟಾ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ, ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಜನ್ಯಾ, ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಹಕ ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ರಾಜ್, ಸಂಕಲನಕಾರ ಕೆ.ಎಂ.ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್, ಕಲಾ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಮೋಹನ್ ಬಿ ಕೆರೆ, ಕ್ರಿಯೇಟಿವ್ ಹೆಡ್ ತರುಣ್ ಸುಧೀರ್.. ಹೀಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರೂ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರೇ. ಬಂದ ಲಾಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಶೇರ್ ಸಿಗಲಿದೆ.
