In a sudden development he Darshan starrer Airavatha movie's audio has been taken over by Lahari Music. The audio was officially released in Mysuru on 16th September by D Beats company of V Harikrishna. Now Lahari Music has taken over the rights of Airavatha audio to their company.

Speaking to Chitraloka.com Lahari Velu said that there was some formalities and they have  acquired the rights of Airavatha. "From tommorrow auido will hit the market from our company. For this producer Sandesh Nagaraj and V Harikrishna has also signed the documents said Velu."

The movie is planned for an October release.

Kirik Party will release on Friday come what may, Rakshit Shetty has said. The film team had decided to fight the copyright case filed against them by Lahari Music in the court and not go for a compromise. The team firmly believes it has not done anything illegal and therefore not bowing before Lahari. 

Rakshit Shetty said "At any cost we are releasing our film Kirik Party on 30th December" speaking to Chitraloka. On 28th Lahari Velu has brought a stay on the release of the movie from a court for allegedly using the small bit of tune from Shanti Kranthi movie saying it has copyright over it. 

Speaking to Chitraloka  Rakshith Shetty said "it was inspirational and Tribute to Hamsalekha and Ravichandran. I don't think there is a copyright for inspiration. We never expected that they will go the court and get stay for the release. Anyhow we will not pay them anything but we will fight the case. Right now we are cutting that full song which is about 5.30 minutes and releasing the film. Later let the court decide who is right and give justice. Our film editing is in such a way that even after cutting the song audience may not feel the cut but a small jerk may be noticed by a few."

The Karnataka High Court has allowed the release of Kirik Party with the song 'Hey Who Are You' song. Lahari Audio had brought a stay order on the release of the film from a civil court yesterday. However with the high court allowing the film, the song will be included.

However it will take a few more days to add the song as all the uploading of satellite telecast links have been completed without the song. Sources said that the high court has asked the film producer to deposit Rs 10 lakh as security deposit in the civil court to use the song. If the case goes in favour of Kirik Party the money would be returned to them.

Producer Jayanna has paid Rs 20 lakhs as penalty to Lahari Audio and has officially acquired the rights of the two songs which are used in Puneeth Rajkumar starrer 'Dheera Ranavikram'. Earlier, Lahari Velu had accused the team of 'Ranavikram' including producers Jayanna and Bhogendra, director Pavan Wodeyar and music director V Harikrishna for not taking official permission for using two songs which have been used in the film. The rights of both the songs were with Lahari Audio and T-Series had not only sent a notice to the makers of the film regarding this, but also had blocked the songs in Youtube.

To solve this issue in an easier way, Jayanna had gone to Lahari office in Yeshwanthpur recently. After much talks, it seems Jayanna has agreed to give Rs 20 lakhs for officially using two songs in the film.

Speaking to chitraloka Lahari Velu said `we wanted to move the case to the court because of producer Jayanna we settled amicably. We have not given the rights but we have given permission to use the song lines.

With this, the problems revolving 'Ranavikrama' has come to an end.

Though Velu of Lahari audio is been in the Kannada film industry for more than 30 years, he had not acted in any of the films including films of his production house. Now Velu has silently acted in a Kannada film which is the remake of Tamil hit 'Goli Soda' released in 2014.

Velu is seen in the role of a politician in this movie. Velu says he acted in the film because of his association with producer Kolla Praveen who had earlier produced 'Power Star' and 'Manikya'. The film is directed by Raghu Jaya and scenes of Lahari Velu was shot in Bangalore recently.

The film stars mostly newcomers and Rajesh Ramanath is the producer of the film.

Velu of Lahari Audio who is releasing 'Kabali' in four Five Star hotels on Friday has said that he is not doing anything illegal by releasing the film in Five Star Hotels.

'I have paid tax for screening the film in the Five Star hotels and I am trying to acquire permission for screening the film. I think this will become a major market for Kannada films in the future. I am not able to understand what is illegal in screening a film, if I pay tax legally and acquire permission' says Lahari Velu.

Lahari Velu says many of the Kannada film producers including Govindu of 'Dodmane Huduga' is inquiring about the process of releasing the film in Five Star hotels as it is a new avenue

Lahari Velu of Lahari Audio has come to the aid of well known Director S Umesh who has been facing health issues a part from a financial crisis in recent times.

Lahari Velu has announced a financial aid of Rs One Lakh to the director and will be transferring the amount on Monday. Director Umesh has thanked Lahri Velu for support in his ailing times.

Velu had recently donated Rs 10 lakhs to the Workers Federation. The film technicians and workers are the worst hit in the pandemic times and the workers have thanked Velu for his kind gesture of supporting the needy.

A new film 'Premarpane' starring Nagarjuna and Sanjana Naidu is complete and waiting for release. Meanwhile, the team had held the audio release programme of the film. Music composer Sangeeth Sagar who has scored music for 15 films has directed this film. He himself has written the story and screenplay of the film and when he was on search for a suitable producer, he found realtor Krishna Reddy who was also looking forward for a director to direct his son Nagarjuna. Krishna Reddy liked the story and has produced the film. The shooting for the film is complete and the team is looking forward for a suitable date to release the film.

The audio is being released by Lahari Audio and Lahari Velu was present during the audio release of the film. Apart from Lahari Velu, Nagarjuna, Sanjana Naidu, Sangeeth Sagar, Krishna Reddy, J P Narayanaswamy, Layendra, Thriller Manju and others were present at the occasion.

YouTube has awarded Lahari Music with the YouTube Gold Play Button. It is a recognition of Lahari's reach and success as a content provider on the video sharing network. Lahari is the largest music company in Kannada and south India. The Gold Play Button is given to YouTube channels which have crossed one million subscribers. Lahari has already gained around 1.5 million subscribers.

It is a rare achievement and very few companies have one million subscribers. After 10 million subscribers the Diamond Play Button is awarded which has been bagged by only 10 channels in the entire world. the Gold Play Button momento was sent to Lahari a few days ago. Lahari Velu aka Tulsiram Naidu proudly displayed the button.
