After sorting out the permission over pigeons, director Simple Suni's 'Bazaar’ is finally set to hit the screens on February 1. Earlier it was scheduled for release in January.

Following certain permissions pertaining to pigeons used in the filming of the movie, the release was halted, and now after the necessary clearance the movie will release on February 1, the Bazaar film team shares.

The film which marks the debut of Dhanveer starring opposite the pretty Aditi Prabhudeva revolves around pigeon flying competition, for which the makers have worked hard for over three months by following the stringent conditions imposed by the animal clearance board.

Ganesh starrer 'Chamak' has successfully completed 100 days and has the distinction of being the first movie to complete 100 days in GT World Mall in Magadi Road in Bangalore.

'Chamak' is a family entertainer and for the first time in his career, Ganesh will be playing the role of a doctor in the film. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine of the film. Sadhu Kokila and others play prominent roles in the film. Ganesh's daughter Charitrya has played the role of his daughter in the film. 

'Chamak' is being written and directed by Suni of 'Simpleaag Ond Love Story' fame and produced by Chandrashekhar. Judah Sandy is the music director of the film, while Santhosh Rai Pathaje is the cameraman.

Simple Suni's Bazaar has finally cleared the Censor test and bagged the U/A certificate. The film was supposed to release this week but had to be postponed after it met with unexpected hurdles.

Bazaar was the only big Sankranti release in Kannada but with the film not releasing non-Kannada films had a free run. Suni has cast newcomer Dhanveer Gowad and Aditi Prabhudeva in the lead roles in the film. The film has the backdrop of pigeon racing. The pigeon flights competitions is said to be the highlight of the film. Apart from the viewpoint of the human players,

Suni also planned and shot scenes from the viewpoint of the birds too. The new release date of the film is likely to be announced in a day or two. The use of pigeons was done with permission and under the guidance of the Animal Welfare Board of India. But it faced last minute hurdles.

After Chamak, Suni returns with a simple but an effective tale which promises to fly high in Bazaar. Though webbed around the age-old subject - rowdyism and love, this one comes with some pretty wings for an entertaining act.

The talented Dhanveerrah Gowda, who makes his debut has worked hard as the dedication reflects through his performance on the big screen. It is about an orphan, who is stubborn by nature but good at heart. As a boy after saving the life of a rowdy played by Sharath Lohitashwa, he grows up being his right-hand man, and more like a son.

Thankfully it is not just about rowdies who go on a killing spree nor about the man in focus who is caught in action between his love and the rival gang. It's a good mix of varied commercial elements with pigeons in focus. 

Ever heard of the local sport of pigeon flying competition? If not, Bazaar throws good light on it and how the peace loving birds are part of an interesting competition, which is a major attraction in several cities across the country. Suni connects well the birds and the rest of the tale sandwiched between rowdyism and love. 

Shot mostly in real locations, Bazaar looks true to its script on the screen and the beautiful charm of Aditi Prabhudeva makes the audience fall in love with yet another brilliant act of hers. Sharath shines as usual in a prominent role. Simple Suni's new film Bazaar is readying for its audio launch function. Gracing the occasion will be Challenging Star Darshan. Suni met Darshan and requested him to be the chief guest to which the star immediately agreed.

Thrilled Suni even wrote a short lyric about Darshan. 'Simple' Suni has completed 15 days of shooting for Ganesh starrer 'Sakkath' before lock down. Now the director has announced yet another film on the actor's birthday on Thursday.

This time, Suni has written a script called 'The Story of Rayagadha' for Ganesh. This is an action thriller set in the 80s in the Northern part of Karnataka. Ganesh will be playing the role of a rugged youth in this film. The film will be starting only next year as Ganesh has three films in hand currently.

Meanwhile, the rap motion poster 'Sakkath' was released on Thursday. The motion poster blended with rap music  is said to be the first of its kind in Kannada cinema. 'Sakath' is scripted and directed by Simple Suni and produced by Supreeth. The film stars Ganesh along with Surabhi, Kuri Prathap, Dharmanna Kadur, Sadhu Kokila and others in prominent roles.

A love story with a different narrative marks the debut of another talented director in the sandalwood. Vashista Bantanur, has picked up a youthful subject by mixing it with romance and all the essential ingredients needed for a commercial potboiler. The team mostly comprises of new talents including the lead actor Santhosh due to which it breathes freshness on the screen.

The one love 2 story is in fact about two couples and their journey together in different phases. Meanwhile, there exists another plot which has an unusual connection with that of the main love story. While it seems like a typical love story, the filmmaker has added newness into it, which deserves appreciation for being one of its kind. This is why it does not fall into any particular genre, and goes to to question the set principles of commercial film making.

While it is the story which holds the key, the making of it is pretty decent too, especially considering that it is the work of a completely new team.

The other highlights is the Hangover song sung by actor Vashista Simha, and another which is penned by Simple Suni and sung by Sanjith Hegde. Also, Santhosh, a techie and a die hard fan of power star Puneeth Rajkumar, makes his debut and proves out to be a promising talent. One film with many positive take away which prompts for a good one time watch.

Operation Alamelamma is yet to release and the entire film team is still busy with its upcoming release on July 21. But the chatter about the film's sequel is only getting louder by the day. Even before the audio launch of the film some producers has approached director Suni to make a sequel to it.

This film is produced by Suni himself. Sources say that Suni is open to the idea but will make a commitment only after getting feedback from the audience to Operation Alamelamma. This is a comedy thriller and not easy to pull off. But the trailers and music have become big sensations and there is huge expectations about this film.

Suni has made a sequel to his first film Simpleag Ond Love Story. So he is not new to such ideas. As of now there is suspense about the sequel to Operation Alamelamma.

With 31 lakhs plus views of its trailer in less than two days, the movie which marks the debut of Dhanveer who is paired opposite the beautiful Aditi Prabhudeva, has raised a lot of expectations amongst the cine audience.

While 'Bazaar’ is based on the popular local sport - pigeon flying competition, the tale comes along with a cute love story packed with all the commercial elements. Sadhu Kokila will be seen in a hatke avatar, adding the much needed humour in Bazaar.

On what inspired Simple Suni to web a story around pigeons, he says, “I was reading an article about pigeons in a magazine when I was flying to some destination. When I later heard the story based on a real life incident of a man revolving around pigeon flying competition from Prasanna, the thought provoked me further. But it was Jayasimha who shared it with me, Bazaar became a reality, and hence the story credit goes to both Prasanna and Jayasimha.”

Around 500 real trained pigeons were part of the film shooting, and the flying competition which were shot in the real locations where such contests are held regularly in the city.

The filmmaker further reveals that it almost took two months to get animal board's clearance to film the pigeons.

“The crucial clearance came with conditions such as getting medical certificates done from an authorised veterinary doctors on an everyday basis after the packup,” says Suni.

He further clarifies that Bazaar is not the remake of Tamil film 'Maari’. “It is not a remake. There have been few films such as Chowka where few scenes involving pigeons have been shot, but in Bazaar pigeons are the prime focus,” he adds as he wraps it up.

'Simple' Suni directing a film for Sharan is not a new news. Recently, Suni, Sharan and producer Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah had come forward and had announced that they will be doing a film. Now the title of the film has finally been announced and the film has been titled as 'Avatar Purusha'.

Almost three decades back, a film with the same name starring Ambarish was released. Now Sharan will be seen in the role of 'Avatar Purusha'. The story is about the Trishanku episode in Mahabharatha. Sharan plays a junior artiste in the film.

Suni himself has scripted the film apart from directing it. William David is the cinematographer, while Charan Raj is the music composer. This is not a joint venture and the film is solely produced by Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah under Pushkar Films.

Diganth starrer 'Katheryondu Shuruvagide' is all set to hit the screens on the 03rd of August. Meanwhile, Diganth has silently signed a new film with Suni of ' Simpleaag Ond Love Story fame.

During the making of 'Katheyondu Shuruvagide' itself, Diganth had said that he will act in producer Pushkar's new film. Now Pushkar has brought Suni and Diganth for a new project.

The new untitled film is a romantic comedy written by Suni himself. The film is in the pre-production stage and is likely to start from the month of October.
