Well known musicdirector and Bangalore based fusion specialist Ricky Kej won the Best New Age Album award at the 57th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. Ricky Kej collaborated with Africa's well-known flautist Wouter Kellerman for this album and Ricky shares the award along with Kellerman. The music draws inspiration from two different cultures. Another Bangalore based musician Prakash Sontakke has composed music for this album.

This is the first time than an Indian composer had bagged a Grammy in the new age album category.
