Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has granted a five lakh financial aid for well known director turned actor A T Raghu who is suffering from Kidney failure.

KFCC president Sa Ra Govindu himself confirmed that the Chief Minister has granted a five lakh financial aid for the director during the thanks giving press meet held at the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday evening.

'The Chief Minister has granted a five lakh aid for the ailing Raghu and even the cheque is ready. We will be collecting it shortly and will be handling it over to the director's family soon' said Sa Ra Govindu.

Popular director AT Raghu has suffered kidney failure and is undergoing dialysis regularly. Both his kidneys have failed and unless he gets organ donation he cannot fully recover.

He is currently under hospitalization. Raghu has directed around 40 films mostly in Kannada. In Kannada he has directed many films of Ambareesh and Tiger Prabhakar including Mandyada Gandu, Guru Jagadguru, Putta Hendati and Jailer Jagannath. He has also directed films in Kodava, Malayalam and Hindi. He directed Rajinikanth in a Hindi film Meri Adalat in 1984.

ರೆಬಲ್‍ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಅಂಬರೀಷ್ ಮಂಡ್ಯದ ಗಂಡು ಎಂದೇ ಹೆಸರಾದವರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಂಡ್ಯದ ಗಂಡು ಅನ್ನೋ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಎ.ಟಿ.ರಘು. ಅಂಬರೀಷ್ ಜೊತೆ 20 ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಎ.ಟಿ.ರಘು ಇನ್ಸ್‍ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕುಮಾರ್, ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಾಣ, ಮಿಡಿದ ಹೃದಯಗಳು, ಪುಟ್ಟ ಹೆಂಡ್ತಿ, ಅಂತಿಮ ತೀರ್ಪು, ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು, ಪದ್ಮವ್ಯೂಹ.. ಮೊದಲಾದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತ. ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆಯಾಗಿ 30ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಎ.ಟಿ.ರಘು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾಯಿಲೆ ಹಿಂಡಿ ಹಿಪ್ಪೆ ಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

ಎ.ಟಿ.ರಘು ಅವರ ಎರಡೂ ಕಿಡ್ನಿಗಳು ಫೇಲ್ ಆಗಿವೆ. ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ 3 ಬಾರಿ ಡಯಾಲಿಸಿಸ್ ಆಗಬೇಕು. ಹಾರ್ಟ್ ಆಪರೇಷನ್ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಆಪರೇಷನ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಆಗಿದೆ.

ಹೀಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎ.ಟಿ.ರಘು ನೆರವಿಗೆ ಈಗ ಕಿಚ್ಚ ಸುದೀಪ್ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಘು ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಫೋನ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಧೈರ್ಯ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆ ನಾನಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಸಾಂತ್ವನ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನನಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಂಬರೀಷ್ ಹೋಗ್ಬಿಟ್ರು. ಈಗ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನ ನಾನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾಣ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅಂಬರೀಷ್ ಅವರೇ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಈ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿಸ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎ.ಟಿ.ರಘು.
