Dayal Padmanabhan's 'Karaala Ratri' is all set for release and director-producer Dayal is planning to release the film on the 13th of July.

 'Karaala Ratri' is based on a play of Mohan Habbu. Based on the play, Dayal has scripted the film. Naveen Krishna has written the dialogues for the film. The film is being jointly produced by Dayal and Avinash Shetty.

'Karaala Ratri' stars Dayal's fellow contestants JK and Anupama Gowda along with Naveen Krishna, Rangayana Raghu, Jaya Srinivasan, Veena Sundar, Navarasan and others, P K H Doss is the cameraman, while Ganesh Narayan is the music director.

The movie stars Karthik Jayaram, Anupama Gowda, Rangayana Raghu, Veena Sundar and a host of other prominent actors playing small yet important roles. 

For everyone that complains about the usual “masala” in movies, this is definitely a different genre and a brilliant one at that. 

If you’ve always thought movies come with a certain template or formula, this will definitely break that and give you a new perspective, and it’s very refreshing to see an engaging plot and interesting screenplay.

The movie starts off with some brilliant camera work by PKH Das, excellent cinematography. Most of the movie is shot at night, so the DOP has had a tough and critical role to play, but the state award winner has done an extraordinary job in the movie. 

Brilliant performances by Anupama Gowda, Rangayana Raghu and Veena Sundar. Such captivating performances are rare in today’s cinema. 

JK has done a very good job and him accepting such an interesting character itself is a testimony to his love for interesting scripts. Definitely hope he continues to choose roles that will bring out his skills. 

Anupama for a small screen actress has done such a wonderful job and play a very critical role in the movie, she has given a huge competition to stalwarts like Mr. Raghu and Mrs. Veena Sundar. Her timing, her sarcasm and her natural action were a treat to watch. Naveen Krishna’s dialogues specifically for Anupama were pure gold. 

The Music Director has done an extraordinary job. The Re-recording was wonderful. The music all through the movie had the thrilling and racy feel. The songs are great. The background score will keep ringing in your head. 

One would think that the editor must have had a task when such performances, editing such wonderful performances is quite a challenge but not for CrazyMindzz Sri. His long time association with Dayal itself is a proof of his excellent work. 

Coming to the Producer and Director Dayal Padmanabhan. His way of looking at a play and turning that into a feature film is commendable. He has done a wonderful job in terms of star cast, screen play, and Naveen Krishna’s dialogues are very colloquial yet quirky. His performance in a such role was so brilliant, excellent dialogue delivert.

A movie to be kept always in your library.

JK who was last seen in Dayal Padmanabhan's 'Puta No 109' is back with a new film called 'Iravan'. Like his previous film, this one is also a suspense thriller being helmed by a debutante called Rams Ranga.

'Iravan' has JK playing a pivotal role. Though his role in the film is not yet divulged, it is being said that JK will be laying the role of his lifetime. Adviti Shetty is being paired opposite him. Vivek, Krishna Hebbar, Avinash and others play prominent roles in the film.

Rams Ranga apart from directing 'Iravan', has also scripted it. Nirantanra Ganesh is the producer. The film was launched recently and the shooting for the film is under progress. The shooting for the film will be done in Bangalore, Mangalore and other places.  

Actor JK who is busy with acting in Hindi serial called 'Siya Ke Ram' is back with a new film. The new film is yet to be titled and is being directed by editor turned director Nagendra Urs.

Recently, the song recording of the film was started in Bangalore. After a short gap, V Manohar is back composing the songs of the film. Manohar will be composing four songs for the film.

The new film is being directed by Manisha and she is the producer of the film. Manisha herself has written the story of the film, while Nagendra Prasad has written the script. The film stars JK, Manisha, Thandav, Padmaja Rao and others. The shooting for the film will be held in Bangalore, Bangkok and other places.

Director Dayal is busy with the post-production of his latest film 'Puta Number 109'. Meanwhile, he has launched the motion poster of the film.

'Dayal started 'Aa Karaala Ratri' and 'Puta Number 109' in February this year. He completed the shooting of both the films back to back in a span of 40 days. Among the two, 'Aa Karaala Ratri' was released first and now Dayal intends to release 'Puta Number 109' in the month of September.

''Puta Number 109' is a thriller starring JK, Naveen Krishna and others. Naveen Krishna has written the dialogues for the film. 

Dayal and his team is back after the sensational Aa Karala Ratri. The new film Puta 109 is an edge of the seat thriller with two main protagonists. The entertaining screenplay is a jugalbandi between a novelist and a police officer. 

A police officer arrives at the home of a novelist to clarify some points in the investigation of the death of the latter's wife. You are left in no doubt that the novelist is also a suspect and that is why the police officer has come searching for him. But as they talk you get to know many more layers to the story. 

There is not one but multiple suspects. During the course of this interview the police officer discards the suspicion one by one. But try as he may he is unable to pin the crime on the novelist. Who wins the duel forms the rest of this suspenseful investigative story. 

Dayal is clinching in his narrative while the dialogues by Naveen Krishna adds a good dimension to this story telling. In fact the entire narrative is driven by dialogues. Naveen Krishna's abilities as a dialogue write is in full swing. 

JK Karthik Jayaram and Naveen Krishna are the two main actors. Most of the film takes place inside a house. The cinematographer has put an extra effort to capture the minute moods of the characters. The background score with its strategic silence and genuine understanding of the requirement elevated the film by a few notches. 

Overall Puta 109 is both an entertaining film and an experimental achievement. A film that deserves to be appreciated for its commitment to experiments in Sandalwood.

Actor-director recently released the songs of JK starrer 'May 01'. The songs were released on JK's birthday.

'May 01' was launched last year and is ready for release. The film is being directed by editor Nagendra Aras. Nagendra Aras has written the story and the screenplay of the film. The film is a thriller.

'May 01' stars JK along with Raksha and Poorvi Joshi. Satish Babu has composed the music for the film, Vani Raju is the producer. The film is all set to hit the screens in the month of June.

Actor Kichcha Sudeep on Monday evening released the teaser of JK starrer 'Iravan' at the Ritz Carlton in Bangalore on Monday evening. Sudeep apart from wishing the team a huge success, wished that the film release in theaters and the film will get its due only if released in theaters.

ಒಂದು ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾದ ದೋಷಗಳೇ ಇಲ್ಲದ "ಆ ಕರಾಳ ರಾತ್ರಿ" ಎಂಬ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ ನೊಡೋಕೆ ನಟ ಜೆ.ಕೆ. ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯ ಮಾಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದ. ಸಮಯದ ಅಭಾವ ನೋಡೋಕೆ ಆಗಿರ್ಲಿಲ್ಲಾ. ಆದರೆ ನಿಜ ಹೇಳ್ತೀನಿ ಸಮಯ ಮಾಡ್ಕೊಂಡು ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನೋಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಾರ್ಥಕವಾಯ್ತು. ಯಾಕೆ ಅಂದ್ರೇ ಒಂದು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ತೆರೆಗೆ ತಂದಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರ ಇದು. 

ಒಂದೇ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಥೆ ನಡೆದರೂ ಚಿತ್ರಕಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಂದು ರೋಮಾಂಚಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ಅನುಭವ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೌದು ಆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಕುರ್ಚಿಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೂತಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕುರ್ಚಿಯ ತುತ್ತ-ತುದಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಕೂರಿಸುವಷ್ಟು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತೀ ಕ್ಷಣ ನೀವು ಕಥೆಯ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಕಥೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಅನ್ನುವಷ್ಟರ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಳಗೆ ಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಚಿತ್ರಕಥೆ, ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ, ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು, ಅಭಿನಯ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ.

ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಕಲಾವಿದನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಭಿನಯಿಸಿಲ್ಲ... ಜೀವಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ! ತಾವೇ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿ ವಿಜೃಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯಾವೊಬ್ಬ ಕಲಾವಿದನೂ ವಿನಾಕಾರಣ ತನ್ನ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹೇರಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. 

ರಂಗಾಯಣ ರಘು... ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗ ಕಂಡ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಲಾವಿದ ಹಾಗೂ ನನ್ನ ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಶೀಲ ಕಲಾವಿದ. ತಮ್ಮ ನೈಜ ಅಭಿನಯದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಸಾಬೀತುಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಇವರು ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಉಡುಗೊರೆ. 

ಎಂಥಹ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳೇ ಆದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಲೀಲಾಜಾಲವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಯಿಸುವ ಕಲಾವಿದೆ ವೀಣಾ ಸುಂದರ್. ಮಾಣಿಕ್ಯ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕೆ ಜೀವ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದು ನೋಡಿ ನಾನು ಬೆರಗಾಗಿದ್ದೆ. ನಿಜವಾಗಲೂ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕಲಾವಿದೆ. 

ಅನುಪಮ ತಿಂದು ಬಿಸಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ....ಅಬ್ಬಾ....100 ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಅನುಭವ ಇರುವ ನಟಿಯಂತೆ ಅಮೋಘ ಅಭಿನಯ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ...ಒಂದು ಕಷ್ಟಕರವಾದ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ನಾಜೂಕಾಗಿ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ...ಆಕೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಲೂ ಸಿಗಲೆ ಬೇಕೂ...ಆಕೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು

ಜೆ.ಕೆ....ನೋಡಿ ನಿಜವಾಗಲೂ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಯಿತು...ಆತ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಸುಮಾರು ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ...ಆದರೆ ಇದು ತನ್ನ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಜೀವನದ ಬೆಸ್ಟ್....ಆತನ ನೋಟ...ದೇಹ....ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಿದೆ....ಕನ್ನಡಕದಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಆತ ಹಾಕಿರುವ ಗೋಲ್ಡ್ ಚೆಯ್ನ್... ಆತನ ಉಡುಗೆ....ನನಗೆ ನನ್ನ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಮಿತ್ರರೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿತು....ಬಹುಷಹ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ "ಅರ್ಪಣೆ" ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ "ಅರ್ಪಿತ" ವಾಗಿದೆ....ಹ ಹ ಹ....

ಆತನ ಪಾತ್ರವು ನಮಗೆ ಕುತೂಹಲ ಮೂಡಿಸಿರುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಥ್ರಿಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ....ಕೊನೆಯ ಹಂತ ತಲುಪುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲೀ ಈ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಲವ್ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ....ಕಮ್ಮರ್ಷಿಯಲ್ ಪಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಇಂಥ ಪಾತ್ರ ಒಪ್ಪಿ ನಿಭಯಿಸಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಜೆ.ಕೆ....ಅಭಿನಂದನಾರ್ಹ... ಇನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತೀರೀ ಜೆ.ಕೆ....

ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ದಯಾಳ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ...... ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಎಂದರೆ ಅದು ದಯಾಳ್... ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಈತ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ. ತಪ್ಪುಗಳು ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತೆ ಅಂತಾನೇ "ಮೈಕ್ರೋಸ್ಕೋಪ್ ಝೂಮ್" ಹಾಕಿ ಕುಳಿತೆ, ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ "ಮೈಕ್ರೊಸ್ಕೋಪ್" ಕಾಣಿಸಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲಾ... ಅಷ್ಟು ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟು.

ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು ದಯಾಳ್, ಒಬ್ಬ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞನಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಗೌರವ ಅಪಾರವಾಗಿ ಇಮ್ಮಡಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ.

ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಸಂಗೀತದ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಚಿತ್ರ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳ್ಳುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವೇ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ವಿಜೃಂಭಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಪಿ.ಕೆ.ಹೆಚ್. ದಾಸ್ ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾನೇನೂ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಿಲ್ಲಾ. ಆತ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಬಹು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಕ್ತಿ. ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಬಡ್ಜೆಟ್ ನಿರ್ಧಿಷ್ಟ ದಿನಗಳು ಒಂದೇ ಲೊಕೇಷನ್ ಆದರೂ ತೆರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರ ಕೈಚಳಕ ಅದ್ಭುತ.

ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೂ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡೆ ಚಿತ್ರ ಮುಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯ ಭಾವದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದೆ.

ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್ ಜಯರಾಮ್. ಹಾಗೆಂದರೆ ಯಾರಿದು ಎನ್ನುವವರೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಕಲಾವಿದ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಜೆಕೆ ಎಂದೇ ಪರಿಚಿತ. ಈ ನಟ ಈಗ ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗವನ್ನೇ ತೊರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರಂತೆ. ಜೆಕೆ ಹಾಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗವನ್ನು ತೊರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಕಲಾವಿದ. ಯಾರು ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ಜೆಕೆ ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ತಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಬಳಸಿ, ಜೆಕೆಗಿರುವ ಆಫರ್`ಗಳನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರಂತೆ.

ಹಿಂದಿ ಧಾರಾವಾಹಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಹೆಸರು ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದೆ. ಹಿಂದಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಒಂದರ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಹ ನನಗೆ ದೊರಕಿತ್ತು ಇನ್ನೇನು ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾಯ್ತು. ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ ನನಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಿದ್ದ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ನನಗೇ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಸವಾಲು ಹಾಕಿ 2022 ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರಿ ಬಿಡುಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದರು ಎನ್ನುವ ಜೆಕೆ, ಆತ ಯಾರು ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೇಳೋದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ವಿವಾದವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾದ ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ವಿಚಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ. ಆ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಹೇಳಲು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದಿಂದ ದೂರ ಹೋಗುವ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನಂತೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
