The Kannada remake of popular Marathi film 'Sairat' which has been titled as 'Manasu Mallige' is all set to release sometime in March. Meanwhile, the songs of the film is all set to be released on Valentines Day.

'Manasu Mallige' stars Satyaprakash's son and Rinku Rajaguru in lead roles. Rinku Rajaguru had acted in the original and had become very popular. Rinku has made her debut in Kannada through this film.

The film is jointly produced by Rockline Venkatesh and Akash Chawla. S Narayan has directed the film, while Manohar Joshi is the cameraman. Ajay-Atul who has composed the songs for the original, has composed the songs for this film also.
