RJ Srini's 'Birbal' which was released last year, might not be a big hit at the box-office. However, the film garnered a lot of attention when released in OTT. Now the film is all set to be remade in Telugu as 'Thimmarusu'. 

'Thimmarusu' is being produced by Srujan and directed by Sharan Koppishetty who had earlier directed the Telugu remake of 'Kirik Party'. Satyadev will be playing the lead in this film, which is all set to go on floors shortly.

Satyadev is also playing the lead in the Telugu version of 'Love Mocktail' being directed Kannada Nagashekhar.

Actor turned director M G Srinivas who is fondly known as RJ Srini in filmy circles is all set to direct yet another film called 'Birbal'. This is not a single film, but a trilogy on the adventures of 'Birbal'.

The first film in this trilogy is titled as 'Birbal - Case 1: Finding Vajramuni' followed by 'Birbal - Case 2: Avaran Bitt Ivaran Bitt Avaryaru' and 'Birbal - Case 3: Thuremane'. The film revolves around a lawyer and RJ Srini is playing the role of a lawyer apart from directing the film.

The film is being produced by Chandrashekhar who is currently producing Ganesh's 'Chamak' and 'John Seena'. Srini plans to hold auditions and select some new artistes for the film. 

Actor turned director M G Srinivas who is fondly known as RJ Srini has started his new film 'Birbal' at the Rajarajeshwari Temple in Rajarajeshwari Nagar in Bangalore. Satish Neenasam came over as the chief guest and sounded the clap for the film.

The film revolves around a lawyer and RJ Srini is playing the role of a lawyer apart from directing the film. Rukmini Vasanth has been roped in as the heroine of the film.

ಬೀರ್‍ಬಲ್ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ತೆಲುಗಿಗೆ ತಿಮ್ಮರಸು ಹೆಸರಲ್ಲಿ ರೀಮೇಕ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಆ ತಿಮ್ಮರಸು ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಿಗೆ ಅಟ್ಲುರಿ ಪರಿಚಯ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡೋ ಆಸೆಯಿತ್ತು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಈ ಹೊಸ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಶುರುವಾಯ್ತು ಎನ್ನುವ ಶ್ರೀನಿ, ಆರ್‍ಜೆಯಾಗಿಯೇ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಜೀವನ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದವರು. ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಚಿತ್ರದಿಂದ ಹೀರೋ ಆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆರ್‍ಜೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀನಿಗೆ ಈಗ ಮತ್ತೆ ಆರ್‍ಜೆಯಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಿದೆ.

ಇನ್ನು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಅಟ್ಲುರಿ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಕಥೆಗಾರ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದವರಂತೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ತೆಲುಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ ಅನ್ನೋ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗೆ ಕಥೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದರಂತೆ. ಆ ಮಧ ಕಥೆಗೆ 48 ಚಿತ್ರೋತ್ಸವಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಖುಷಿಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹೀರೋ ಶ್ರೀನಿ.
