A Junior artiste has died in a mishap during the shooting of the Kannada remake of Tamil hit 'VIP'. The untitled Kannada film is being produced by Rockline Venkatesh and directed by Nandakishore.

The introduction scene of Manoranjan Ravichandran was being shot near an uncompleted building in Yelahanka. A junior artiste called Padmavathi went missing after the complete of the shoot and after a thorough search, Padmavathi was found dead. She is said to have fallen from upstairs accidentally.

A case has been filed at the Rajanukunte Police Station and further investigation is on.
