Aindrita Ray is off to Bollywood. She has already started shooting for the film starring Yaariyon's Vikas Sharma and Salman Khan's brother Arbaaz Khan. The shooting for the movie started on January 11 in Switzerland.

The actors and crew had be bear temperature that was between -15℃ to -20°C . The shooting in Switzerland is for one week. The Kannada actress has also acted in two Bengali films.

Actress Aindrita Ray who married Diganth in December is back in action. The actress who was away from acting is said to have been roped in as the heroine for Prem's new film 'Premam Poojyam'

'Premam Poojyam' is Prem's 25th film and is being directed by debutante Raghavendra. The director himself has scripted and composed the music for the film apart from directing it.

Rakshith Kedambadi and Rajkumar Janakiraman who are doctors by profession are producing the film. Naveen Kumar is the cinematographer. The shooting for the film is expected to start from May.

Actress Aindrita Ray has a slippery fingers when it comes to mobile phones. She keeps losing her cell phones at regular intervals. The most recent was at a party at actor Ganesh's house.

Speaking to chitraloka editor KM veeresh She said, "I have lost count of the number of times I have lost my phone. This must be the 10th one. It could be more." Aindrita usually forgets to pick up her phone she leaves at rest. Finding her lost phones is an impossible task as she usually keeps them switched off. As Aindrita has made it a habit to lose her phones, it is left to her friends and family members around to be more careful and save her phones!

Actress Aindrita Ray who was last seen in 'Chauka' is all set to replace actress Deepa Sannidhi in a new film called 'Garuda'.

Earlier, Deepa Sannidhi was supposed to play the female lead in 'Garuda'. Howver, due to date clashes, Deepa has walked out of the film and now Aindrita will be replacing her.

'Garuda' marks the return of Siddarth Mahesh who made his debut with 'Sipayi' with last year's 'Sipayi'. Aindrita Ray and Ashika Ranganath of 'Crazy Boy' are the heroines. Well known choreographer Dhan Kumar is the director, while Raghu Deekshith who is back composing music for 'Happy New Year' is the music composer.

Actress Aindrita Ray who was last seen in 'Melukote Manja' and 'Chauka' is back with 'Rambo 2'. This time the actress is seen in a special song called 'Dum Maro Dum'. The song has been sung by actor-art director Arun Sagar's  daughter Aditi.

'Rambo 2' is being produced by Sharan and Atlanta Nagendra under the Laddoo Films banner. The film is being co-produced by technicians and music composer Arjun Janya, cinematographer Sudhakar Raj, editor K M Prakash will be working partners for the film.

'Rambo 2' stars Sharan, Ashika, Chikkanna and others in prominent roles. Another highlight is  actresses Shruthi Hariharan, Shubha Poonja, Mayuri, Sanchita Padukone and Bhavana Rao have danced with Sharan for a special song.

According to news reports Aindrita Ray is not attending the promotions of her upcoming film Melkote Manja. But the actress has refused the claims saying she has not been paid the remaining remuneration of Rs 5 Lakhs for the film.

She has also posted the whatsapp conversation she had with the hero and director of the film Jaggesh to buttress her claim. The film is scheduled for release on February 10. The conversation dates back to December 2014.

Actress Aindrita Ray is upset with news channel for wrongly accusing Prajwal and Diganth in the accident that occurred near South End Circle in Bangalore.

Recently, liquor baron Adikeshavalu's grandson was involved in an accident and Prajwal and Diganth's names were also involved in the case. Though there are no proof against both the actors, the news channels went on accusing the two in the case which has not only upset the two, but also the Sandalwood fraternity. Many celebrities including Jagggesh, Ambarish, Prem, Vijay Raghavendra and others have come in support of them.

Aindrita Ray also has come in support with the due and has slashed the news channels for wrongly projecting Prajwal and Diganth's name in the whole issue. Aindrita has said that she has lost hope in news channels as they are stooping to such low levels.

Actress Aindrita Ray who is not in much news these days is silently back with a new film and this time the actress is all set to be seen in an item number in Diganth starrer 'Sharp Shooter'. The shooting for the film which was launched a few months back has silently been completed except for a few songs. This item song is one among them and the makers were in search of a suitable actress and has finally finalised Aindrita Ray. The shooting for the item number will be starting in a couple of days.

The film marks the debut of lyricist and story writer Ghouse Peer into direction. 'Julie' Lakshmi, Sudharani, Mitra and others are playing prominent roles in the film.

Shiva Santhosh has composed the music for this film, while Karunakar is the cameraman.

Actor-minister Ambarish on Wednesday night released the songs of Niruttara composed by Neeladri Kumar. Niruttara is the debut production of actress Bhavana and the actress cum president of Jawahar Bal Bhavan had organised a grand audio release and in spite of heavy rains many celebrities including Darshan.

Aditya, Kaviraj, Kodlu Ramakrishna and others were present at the occasion. The film is being directed by Girish Kasaravalli's son Apoorva Kasaravalli and this is his debut film as a director. The film stars Bhavana, Aindrita, Kiran Srinivas and others in prominent roles.

The film is based on a story by Vikram Hatwar. H M Ramachandra is the cameraman. 'Niruttara' is being produced by Hometown Productions

The Central Crime Branch has issued notices to star couple Diganth and Aindrita Ray in the ongoing drug scandal and has ordered them to appear on Wednesday morning.

Earlier, the CCB had arrested Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani in the drugs issue and after much interrogation, Ragini has been sent to Judicial custody for 14 days and Sanjana is still in CCB custody which is going to end on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, with more fingers pointing towards the star couple's involvement in the case, the CCB has sent notice to them to be present for enquiry for which both Diganth and Aindrita say they are willing to cooperate.

Though Diganth was not personally available for a reaction, the actor through a tweet he will be appearing before the CCB on Wednesday. 'We will be appearing to a telephonic notice sent by the CCB tomorrow at 11 AM. We will fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation' tweeted both Diganth and Aindrita.

The trailer of the multistarrer film Chowka will be released either on Thursday or Friday this week. The shooting for the film was completed recently and the film is gearing up for release shortly. The trailer is planned to release just in time for Sankranti.

Chowka is the 50th film of Dwarakish Chitra and produced by Yogish. The film stars Nenapirali Prem, Prajwal Devaraj, Vijay Raghavendra, Diganth, Priyamani, Aindrita Ray, Deepa Sannidhi and Bhavana. Darshan has also acted in a guest role in the film.

Chowka is directed by Tharun Sudheer in his debut as director. He is giving final touches to the trailer. The first look and characters of the film were introduced earlier. The four main actors are from different decades whose stories meet in the end. The film is the biggest multistarrer in Kannada in decades.

The bookings for the multistarrer John Jani Janardhan has opened online. The film is releasing this Friday. The release of the film which was scheduled for the second Friday of November was postponed due to the demonitization of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes which created uncertainty over the audience coming to theatres.

Now a month after the original release schedule the film is releasing on December 9. The film has a huge starcast that includes Ajai Rao, Yogish, Darling Krishna, Aindrita Ray and others. The film is directed by Guru Deshpande.

Jaggesh is at his best in Melkote Manja. He is also the story writer, dialogue writer and director of this film. He has done all the jobs with aplomb. He should be appreciated for coming out with a decent entertainer managing all the tasks. The film has his trademark comedy as well as a story loaded with mild sentiments about wayward children and parents. It has some good music, also a bit of action and witty dialogues that Jaggesh excels in. It is a perfect entertainer.

Jaggesh plays Manja, who is from Melukote. He tries his hand at many businesses and fails in all of them. He drives up a lot of debt from several people in the town. He is so deep in debt that he has to hide from the people who have loaned him is always in fear of being caught by him. His condition is pitied by his father very much. Manja falls into a bigger problem by trying to help a girl. She is being forcibly married to a relative who is also not in good terms with Manja. Half the film is about how Manja becomes successful in life and the other half is about how he helps the girl.

Jaggesh had done an excellent job not only as an actor but also as director. He has deftly handled the narration and armed with a good script manages to deliver what he has promised. He has written dialogues for each of the characters in a different vein. He has shown his huge potential in that regard. It is not only the comedy dialogues but also dramatic, sentimental dialogues that he has brilliantly written. 

On the technical front there is good music and photography which Jaggesh uses to the advantage of the narrative. Melkote Manja is a good film for the family audience as well as youngsters who want to have a good outing at the theatres. Do not miss the fun ride that shows the experience of its maker.

Diganth's second film in two weeks, Sharp Shooter is a full-fledged comedy film. The film is about a young man who hides the fact that he is night blind to his girlfriend. But make up for it, he has to endure many funny situations. In a big twist he is confused for a sharp shooter. What happens after that is a series of funny and comical situations which he has to get himself out of.

Ghouse Peer has become a director with this film and he has handled the subject ably. The story itself has so much fun elements in it and the director adds more comedy with the situations and dialogues. Good songs and beautiful photography makes the film even more interesting. 

This is the first time Diganth has acted in such a story. Though in films of Yograj Bhat he has acted in subtle comedy this is the first time he has been given a role which has comedy as the theme. There are many interesting characters along with that of Diganth. 

Chikkanna plays his close friend who is his Man Friday. Chikkanna takes all the trouble to make his friend's love succeed. Lakshmi plays Diganth's mother. The only thing she wants to hide from all the villagers and friends is the fact that her son is night blind. Mitra plays a dumb character who is out to spoil Diganth's chances in everything. There are also villains. Diganth has to contend with Danny Kuttappa and Bhajarangi Lokesh. He not only gets to do comedy but also some fighting. The fights are also well choreographed and in the end Diganth also shows off his six-pack abs.

The incidents are hilarious and make for a fun package. The film is one that you will enjoy in the company of your friends as well as family. So this is a film you should book your tickets fast.
