    The Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy has organised An Interaction of Impact of GST and Demonitization on Kannada film industry on 05th December at 10.30 AM. The seminar will be held in Gandhi Bhavan at the Kumara Krupa Road, Bangalore.

    The seminar will be presided by KCA chairman S V Rajendra Singh Babu and well known advocate K Vytheeshwaran, KFCC president Sa Ra Govindu, ex-president K V Chandrashekhar, producer and distributor Rockline Venkatesh, M N Kumar, Jayanna, chartered accountant Vivek Mallya and others will be present at the occasion and will be talking about the impact of GST and Demonitization on Kannada film industry.

    The Kannada film industry has decided to support the bundh called by pro-Kannada activists regarding the Kaveri water issue.

    Speaking to Chitraloka.com, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce president Sa Ra Govindu said that the industry has decided to close down all the activities on September 09th and will be supporting the bundh called by pro-Kannada activists.

    Sa Ra Govindu said he will be coordinating with the other wings of the film industry regarding this and has asked support from all the different wings of the Kannada film industry.

  • Vatal Nagaraj Calls For Kannada Film Industry Bundh On March 11th

    Veteran pro Kannada activist and former Member of Legislative Assembly Vatal Nagaraj has come strong against the dubbing culture and has called for a film industry bundh on the 11th of March.

    This time also, the Karntaka Film Chamber of Commerce will be staying out of the bundh because of legal problems. In the absence of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, other associations of the Kannada film industry mainly the workers union, Artistes Association and others will be participating in this rally.

    Before the bundh, many pro-Kannada activists and dignitaries from the film industry will be holding a meeting on the 04th of March and will be deciding about the proceeding of the rally to be held on the 11th of March.
