The reason behind the delay in release of one of the most expected movie 'Ayushmanbhava' starring Karunada Chakravarthy Dr Shivarajkumar, happens to be a tiger! 

The makers of the movie who recently apologised to the audience, especially the fans of Shivanna for the delay while it was supposed to have hit the screens on November 1 on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava, share that the CG works relating to tiger took some time and the animal board's approval for the same pushed the dates further.

Producer Yogish Dwarakish says that the the censorship for the film is scheduled today and once it's done, the release date will be finalised too

Karunada Chakravarthy Dr Shivarajkumar starrer is all set for a grand release tomorrow, which also marks the unique feat of 50th year for Dwarakish Chitra and many more surprises for the Kannada audiences.

While the huge cutouts of Shivanna are up and ready to welcome his fans for a bigger treat, the hit combination of P. Vasu and Shivanna has raised the expectations with another suspense thriller. This time, it gets musical with composer Gurukiran coming on board with a milestone in his career, marking his 100th venture. He has even composed one of the special numbers 'Thembare Bottuvana' with Tulu lyrics.

Further, the tiger chasing sequence along with underwater fight sequence composed by stunt choreographer Ravi Varma are some of the major attractions along with dimple queen Rachitha Ram, evergreen actor Anantnag and several others in the lead for Aayushmanbhava.

Bagpiper Soda and Dwarkish Chitra have come together for a unique partnership for the upcoming Kannada film Chauka and Bagpiper Soda will be co-producing the film along with Dwarkish Chitra.

Producer Yogish Dwarkish himself announced that Bagpiper Soda is the co-producer of the film during the first press meet of the film. Debashish Shyam who is the Senior Vice President of Marketing of the United Spirits also confirmed that Bagpiper Soda is co-producing the film.

The characters of multistarrer Chauka have been revealed. Nenapirali Prem plays Hakki Gopala and his story is set in 1986. This takes place in Bengaluru. Diganth's character is set in 1995 Mysuru and the name is Krishna Rao.

In 2000 Mangaluru, Vijay Raghavendra is Surya Shetty. In Bijapura of 2007 Prajwal Devaraj is Mohammed Anwar. In 2016 all four meet.

Dwarkish's 50th film as a producer 'Chauka', has completed 50 days at the box-office and has become the first film in 2017 to complete 50 days.

'Chauka' is a multi starrer film with Prem, Prajwal, Diganth and Vijay Raghavendra playing prominent roles in the film. Aindritha Ray and Deepa Sannidhi, Priyamani and Bhavana Menon are playing the female leads. While, Darshan is seen in a guest role, Puneeth Rajakumar has sung a song for this film.

Tarun Sudhir brother of actor-director Nandakishore is the director of this film. Five music directors, five cameramen and five dialogue writers have worked for the film.

Dwarkish's 50th film as a producer 'Chauka' is almost ready for release. Till now the makers of the film had not divulged any details about the film. It was being said that Aindritha Ray and Deepa Sannidhi are playing the heroines.

Now the names of the two more heroines have been finally divulged. Apart from Aindritha Ray and Deepa Sannidhi, Priyamani and Bhavana Menon are playing the female leads. Both Priyamani and Bhavana Menon had earlier acted in Sudeep's 'Vishnuvardhana' which was produced by Dwarkish. Now the two have acted in Dwarkish's one more film.

'Chauka' is a multi starrer film with Prem, Prajwal, Diganth and Vijay Raghavendra playing prominent roles in the film. Tarun Sudhir brother of actor-director Nandakishore is all set to be make his debut as a director through this film.

Dwarkish's first film as a producer, 'Mayor Muttanna' was released on October 16th 1969. Now his 50th film is also releasing in the same month. 'Chauka' is almost complete except for a song and the recording and picturisation of the song will complete soon.

Dwarkish's 50th film as a producer 'Chauka' is all set to release in America and Canada on march 17th. 'Chauka' is directed by Tarun Sudhir and stars Prem,  Diganth, Vijay Raghavendra, Prajwal, Kashinath,  Darshan and others in prominent roles.

The film was released last month and is running to packed houses.

One complaint against this Friday's big release Chowka is its length. The film is 2 hours and 48 minutes long. This has created some problems in theatres, especially for the second shows at night. In one theater in Bengaluru the late night show that was to start at 10 pm started at 10.45 pm because the three earlier shows had taken up much time. The show ended at 1.45 am causing inconvenience to audience.

This has prompted the film team to consider trimming the film by some 20 minutes. But cutting any scene without affecting the flow of the film was not possible. Therefore it has been decided to cut a fight scene involving Vijay Raghavendra and Prajwal Devaraj.

This is around 3-4 minutes. Also the title card which is 3.5 minutes long will be chopped. A few other such inconsequential scenes will be cut so that the film's length is reduced to 2 hours 30 minutes according to sources.

The film's Saturday collections have improved from Friday. Friday occupancy overall was 60 % which increased to 70% on Saturday and on Sunday it was 80%.

Tharun Sudhir's debut as director and Dwarakish Chitra's 50th film is a film that will leave a lasting experience. The multistarrer film that has a great supporting cast has a unique story that combines entertainment and a message for the youth about their contribution to the society. 

Four youngsters from four different eras end up in jail for no mistake of theirs. However they reconcile to their fate until they meet an old man in jail who is also wrongly jailed. He inspires them to not waste anymore of their lives. Do these four men manage to do the impossible is the rest of the story. 

Tharun has given equal  importance to the four stars, Vijay Raghavendra, Prem, Diganth and Prajwal Devaraj. There is also important roles for Kashinath and Chikkanna. 

There are beautiful elements in the film. The songs are top class. The four main actors give brilliant performances. Senior actor Kashinath is seen in a role that is unique. He steals the heart with his portrayal of a father who tries to undo the wrong foisted on him. 

The film gives a rich experience and is a visual treat. The makers have managed to show some places like Gol Gumbaz and Suvarna Vidhana Soudha like never before. Every actor in the film is given importance and nothing is out of place. However the film is long at nearly three hours and this is because all characters are given their due. 

There is a message for the youth in the end. It is a mass film with a message.

Actor Darshan who has played a cameo in 'Chauka' is all set to promote the film on Monday. Darshan will be visiting theaters in Gundlupete, Mysore, Mandya and Malavalli. The team of 'Chauka' will be joining him in this promotion.

Chouka Censored - Releasing On Feb 3rd

The team of 'Ayushmanbhava' on Thursday has apologized to the viewers for not being able to release the film on the 1st of November.

'Ayushmanbhava' was all set to release on the 1st of November. But the film got postponed due to various reasons. So, the team had organised a special press meet on Thursday and gave reasons for the postponement of the film.

According to the team, the real reason is, it has not yet got a certificate from the Regional Board of Film Certification. As there is a big portion of graphics in the film, it took a lot of time to complete. After the completion of the graphics portions, the film was submitted to the Censor Board. The team is yet to get a certificate from the Censor Board, and the certificate is expected in another four to five days, after which the exact release date will be announced
