Srujan Lokesh makes a journey to the big screen once again and this time it is with a suspense romantic film. Happy Journey is a very unusual film for it combines many different kinds of elements successfully. First it looks like a romantic story with friendship as the backdrop. Then it suddenly becomes a suspense drama and adds elements of horror and there is also an underlying comedy element. Overall it is an entertainment package that is full paisa vasool film. 

Six friends are lost in a forest and they are found by a police squad. After questioning it is found that one of the original members of the friends group is missing. The story goes into flashback and we see Srujan Lokesh and his other friends working as engineers. Though they are friends there is competition among them also. There is also love with two of them loving the same girl. 

There are so many random incidents in the first half like the explosion of a geyser and a love proposal that do not seem to fit into the story. But when they are revealed in the second half suspense there is real suspense and wonder at how the director has managed to connect all the incidents superbly. The first half and second half are stitched together by suspense elements. 

The second half of the film also has superb comedy scenes and some horror as well. The horror is actually suspense in disguise. The twists that the director gives to the film every 10-15 minutes is intelligent. With each turn of the story we are confounded with a new mystery. Is the character of Srujan planning something sinister? Is he trying to help his friends or trying to cause them harm? What has happend to him in the first place? These are some of the questions that prop up as suspense. 

The film provides wholesome entertainment. In the first half Srujan's character is timid. In the second half it is bold and comes with surprise. Kuri Pratap and Naveen Padil provide comic entertainment which is funny. MR Seenu has done some excellent cinematography for this film. The other actors including Ramesh Bhatand Shivadwaj have done a decent job. Amita Kulal has done a nice job. It is Srujan who steals the show with his all round performance. Harshika Poonacha appears in a special role in the second half of the film. Even the guest role has a suspense element to it. Go enjoy the film. It is an unusual treat for fans.

Actor Darshan on Tuesday morning sounded clap for Srujan Lokesh Chikkanna starrer Golmal Brothers at the Kanteerava Studio in Bangalore. One of the highlights is, the film is being launched on Srujan's birthday.Srujan says he is overwhelmed that a film is being launched on his birthday. The fil revolves around three friends. They are not intentionally bad, but situational bad. They don't have any interntion to harm anyone. They do golmal purely for love' says Srujan.Along with Srujan and Chikkanna, Roop Shetty, Nikitha Narayan and others play important roles in the film. Devaraj Kumar is the director, while Satish Aryan is the musi composer of the film.

In the past few weeks, the number of Kannada releases got decreased due to various reasons. But this week (October 11th), eight Kannada films are all set to hit the screens.

The biggest and the most anticipated films among the eight is Srujan Lokesh starrer 'Ellidde Illi Tanaka'. The film stars Srujna, Haripriya, Tara and others in prominent roles and is the first venture of Srujan's Lokesh Productions. The film is releasing in Triveni and has replaced Ganesh starrer 'Geetha', which was released two weeks back.

Apart from 'Ellidde Illi Tanaka', 'Chaati', 'Inject 0.7', 'Jnanam', 'Lungi', 'Devaru Bekagiddare', 'Siddhi Seere' and 'Vrutha' are all set to be released. Except for 'Siddhi Seere which stars Sudha Narasimharaju, the other films stars mostly newcomers. Another highlight is eight directors are making their debut this week alone.

The title of this movie which is inspired out of evergreen song 'Ellidde Illi Tanaka' featuring popular actor Lokesh from the movie Ellindalo Bandavaru, fits perfectly as everyone will now start seeking to know from talking star Srujan Lokesh on where was he till now! 

Made under Lokesh productions banner, Thejasvi has delivered hilarious as well as a feel good entertainment with lots of fun and drama for the audience to talk about. In a tailor-made script for Srujan Lokesh, which showcases him in his actual avatar in real life as a fun-loving guy with humor at his best, Ellidde Illi Tanaka is a treat for those who love clean comedy mixed with some decent entertainment.

The Regional Board of Film Certification recently watched Srujan Lokesh starrer 'Ellidde Illi Tanaka' and has given an 'U/A' certificate. With the censor certificate in hand, the team is planning to release the film across Karnataka on the 11th off October.

Meanwhile, the trailer of the film was released today evening in You Tube. Earlier, the songs and the teaser of the film was released and now the official trailer has been released.

'Ellidde Illi Tanaka' is written and directed by Tejaswi and is produced by Girija Lokesh under Lokesh Productions banner. The film stars Srujan, Haripriya, Tabla Nani, Tara, Giri, Kuri Pratap and others in prominent roles. H C Venu is the cinematographer, while Arjun  Janya has composed the songs for the film.

One of the current top sandalwood actresses with a unique versatility - Hariprriya, who is basking upon her recent successes, has an explanation for her 'kissing' scene with Talking Star Srujan Lokesh in 'Ellidde Illitanaka', which will hit the screens from October 11. 

While clarifying it that it is a kiss and not a lip-lock, as many have been trolling it on social media, Hariprriya says that as a responsible artist she knows her limits which she can never breach, disappointing her audience. 

"There was a similar kissing sequence in Ricky too, which no one talked about it the way they are talking over Ellidde Illitanaka just because some actress has done it in a movie. I, as an artist gives utmost importance to what the story demands. The kiss scene with Srujan Lokesh was to emphasis the intimacy between the two characters in the movie, and so I did it. In fact, I said no to some sequences since I cannot disappoint my audience as a responsible artist," she says.

The actress was reacting to trolls wherein her kissing scene was being compared with actress Rashmika Mandanna's lip-lock scene from one of her movies.

Actress Meghana Raj who had not acted in any film after her marriage with Chiranjeevi Sarja is back to action once again. The actress is all set to make her comeback with a new untitled film starring Srujan Lokesh.

Meghana Raj had said earlier said that she will not quit acting after marriage. Likewise, the actress will be making comeback with a new film to be directed by Madhuchandra.

Madhuchandra's latest release was 'Ravi History' which was released a couple of weeks ago. The film did not live up to expectations and now the director is back with a comic film starring Srujan and Meghana.

Actress Meghana Raj's first productional venture 'Putani Punters' was launched recently. Now the actress is back to acting and Meghana on Monday participated in the shooting of her latest film with Srujan Lokesh.

Well known producer Soundarya Jagadish has released the songs of Srujan Lokesh starrer 'Happy Journey' on Monday afternoon.

'Happy Journey' is being directed by Shyam Shimoga and Shyam himself has written the story and screenplay of the film. Karishma R Shetty is the producer. Senior music director S P Chandrakanth has composed the music, while M R Seenu is the cameraman.

Director Indrajith Lankesh had earlier announced that Sunny Leone will be seen playing a guest role in his forthcoming film 'Love You Aaliya'. Though Indrajith had said that Sunny will be dancing with another artiste in the film, he had not disclosed who will be dancing with Sunny Leone. 

Now Indrajith Lankesh has finally announced that Srujan will be dancing along with Sunny Leone for the song in 'Love You Aaliya'. For his appearance in the song, Srujan is busy building six pack abs and will soon participate in the song shooting.

Earlier, Indrajith's father Lankesh had directed Srujan's father Lokesh in 'Ellidandalo Bandavaru'. Now Indrajith is joining hands with Srujan in 'Love You Aaliya'. Not only that, Srujan is planning to produce a film under the Lokesh Productions under the direction of Indrajith Lankesh. Srujan  will be playing hero in the film. The film i expected to be launched after the release of 'Love You Aaliya'.

All these days Srujan Lokesh carved a niche for himself as an actor and an anchor. Now for the very first time, he has turned director with a new reality programme called ‘Maja Talkies’ which will be aired on ETV from the 07th of February.

‘Maja Talkies’ is Kannada’s answer to the ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’. Though the format is same, it is being said that a lot of changes has been made to suit the Kannada audience. Srujan Lokesh is not only producing and anchoring the show, but will also be directing the show.

‘When Parameshwar Gundkal came with the idea of this programme, I was very much thrilled. This type of programme requires not only energy but also a lot of wit and spontaneity. We have a wonderful team who is busy giving some unusual scripts and based on that, we are doing this programme. I took up direction as a challenge’ said Srujan Lokesh.

Actor Srujan Lokesh celebrated his 38th birthday on Wednesday and on this occasion, his fans association was inaugurated by former Home Minister R Ashok in Bangalore.

Srujan's fans association which is titled as Akhila Karnataka Talking Star Srujan Lokesh Abhimanigala Sangha was launched at the Vivekananda Grounds in Kathriguppe and many guests including former Home minister R Ashok, MLA Ravisubramanya, actor Srinagara Kitty and others were present at the occasion.

Meanwhile, Srujan distributed saplings to his fans apart from donating computers to needy children.

Srujan Lokesh's new film with Meghan Raj was launched a few months ago. Though the shooting was in progress, the film was not titled. Now the film has been titled as 'Selfie Mummy Google Daddy'.

'Selfie Mummy Google Daddy' is being scripted and directed by Madhuchandra. The film is being produced by Akasha Butti Creations. Ravindranath is the cinematographer, while Shamanth Nag is the music composer.

`ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್‍ಗೂ ಮೊದಲೇ ಗಿರಿಜಾ ಲೋಕೇಶ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಕೃತ್ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಶುರುವಾಗುತ್ತೆ. ಅದೊಂದು ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಅನುಭವ. ನನಗಂತೂ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಫೀಲ್ ಆಯ್ತು' ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸೃಜನ್. ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿತನಕ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಸೃಜನ್ ಲೋಕೇಶ್ ಪ್ಲಾನ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕೆಟಿವಿಎ ಎಂದರೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕಿರುತೆರೆಯ ಕಲಾವಿದರು, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಇರುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಟೆಲಿವಿಷನ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್. ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು, ಕನ್ನಡದ ಹೆಸರಾಂತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ರವಿ ಆರ್ ಗರಣಿ  ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಖ್ಯಾತ ನಟ ನಿರೂಪಕ

 ಸೃಜನ್ ಲೋಕೇಶ್  ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಭಾಸ್ಕರ್ ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್. ಖಜಾಂಚಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾದ ಗಿರಿಜಾ ಲೋಕೇಶ್, ವೀಣಾ ಸುಂದರ್, ಗಣೇಶ್ ರಾವ್ ಕೆಸರ್ಕರ್, ಸುನೇತ್ರಾ ಪಂಡಿತ್, ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಗೌಡ ಎನ್.ಟಿ, ವಸಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ವಿ, ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕಿ ಭಾವನಾ ಬೆಳಗೆರೆ, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಸತೀಶ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಬರಹಗಾರ ಕೇಶವಚಂದ್ರ, ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕರಾದ ಬೆಟ್ಟೇ ಗೌಡ ಕೆ.ಟಿ. ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಪರಯ್ಯ ಆರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹರ್ಷ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್, ಯೂನಿಟ್ ಮಾಲೀಕ ಸೆಲ್ವಂ, ಸಂಕಲನಕಾರ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅರಸ್ ಕೆ.ಸಿ, ಪ್ರಸಾಧನ ಕಲಾವಿದ ನಾಗರಾಜು ಪಿ. ಧ್ವನಿಗ್ರಾಹಕ ಕಲಾವಿದ ಸಾಗರ್ ಬಿ.ಕೆ, ಬೆಳಕು ಸಹಾಯಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಪಿ.ವಿ, ವಸ್ತ್ರವಿನ್ಯಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಾವಿನ್ಯಾಸ ವೀರೇಂದ್ರ ಡಿ.ಸಿ , ವಾಹನ ಚಾಲಕರಾದ ತಿಮ್ಮರಾಜು, ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಸಹಾಯಕರಾದ ವೀರೇಂದ್ರ ಪಿಕೆ. ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ರವಿ ಆರ್.ಗರಣಿ ಶ್ರಮ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ಈಗ ಅವರೇ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಗ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಅಧಿಕಾರಾವಧಿ 3 ವರ್ಷ. ಅಂದ್ರೆ 2025ರವರೆಗೂ ಈ ಸದಸ್ಯರೇ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
