Director Anil has completed 'Daari Tappida Maga' silently and has already started a new film called 'Kaaneyadavara Bagge Prakatane'. The film was launched recently in Bangkok. Ravishankar, Rangayana Raghu, Tabla Nani, Chikkanna and others were present during the occasion.

'Kaaneyadavara Bagge Prakatane' is a commercial film about the plight of senior citizens. Anil himself has scripted the film apart from directing the film . The film is being produced by Naveen Kumar under the Bilwa Entertainment banner.

'Kaaneyadavara Bagge Prakatane' stars Ravishankar, Rangayana Raghu, Tabla Nani, Chikkanna and others. Arjun Janya is the music composer, while Shivakumar is the cinematographer. The first schedule of the film will be shot in Bangkok, after which the team will be continuing the second schedule in Bangalore and other places. The team intends to release the film this year only. 

The City Crime Branch on Friday early morning raided actress Ragini's house in Judicial Layout in Bangalore. A team of six officials headed by Anjumala Nayak with a search warrant gave a surprise visit to Ragini's house early morning and has confiscated the mobile phones of the family members. Ragini and family members are said to have been cooperating with the officials.

Earlier, the CCB had arrested Ragini's aide Ravishankar and even gave summons to Ragini to appear for the inquiry. However, Ragini did not attend the inquiry on Thursday and had announced through social media that as she got the summons in short notice, she could not appear and will be visiting the CCB office on Monday. 

The first schedule of Sudeep starrer 'Hebbuli' is concluded and the second schedule of the film will start soon. Meanwhile, the first look of the film has been released. Sudeep is playing a para commando in this film and looks different from the characters he has played so far.

'Hebbuli' marks the return of Sudeep and Ravichandran once again after 'Manikya'. The duo played father and son in 'Manikya' and this time they are sharing the screen once again. Apart from Ravichandran and Sudeep, Amala Paul, Chikkanna, Ravishankar, Ravi Kishan, Kabir Singh Duhan and others play prominent roles in the film.

S Krishna himself has written the story and screenplay of the film. Arjun Janya will be composing the music, while Karunakar is the cameraman. The shooting for the film will be held in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Iceland, Australia, Norway, London and other places

Arjun Janya has brought musicians and technicians from four different countries to work on the background score of the film Jigarthanda. Singers from Italy, string orchestra from Spain, guitaras played in Los Angeles (US) and technical help from Australia. It is a symphony orchestra composed abroad in four different countries in three differentcontinents. It is the first time such an attempt has been made for a Kannada film.The music is composed by Arjun Janya.

Approximately around 150 Kannada films made in the last few years have not yet been purchased by TV channels for telecast. These included some of the popular films with popular actors. Some hit films also did not get the price they expected.

For example, hit film Kendasampige sold for Rs 45 Lakh for TV while everyone in Sandalwood expected it to fetch at least Rs 1 crore. The TV market is so down that many under production films are in jeopardy. But there are some good tidings. Jigarthanda which was a comeback for Rahul has been picked up by a TV channel for Rs 1 crore. This is a good sign for Sandalwood.

Wondering about why these star comedian actors being listed in the missing persons list? Well, this is no official publication by the police on missing persons but the latest movie title to be directed by Anill Kumar of the fame of Dilwala, Krishna Rukku and Raambo 2.

The movie 'Kaneyadavara Bagge Prakatane' which is going on the floors from August 6 will feature Ravishankar, Rangayana Raghu, Tabla Nani and others in the lead. 

The director who is currently busy with Daritappidda Maga from Jayanna Bhogendra Combines, says that his next will be an out and out comedy involving senior citizen persons with more than 65 years in age. Right now, the three actors are finalized and few more will join the team, he adds. The team has planned for a 20 days shooting in Bangkok for missing persons venture.

Actor Ravishankar, known for his villain roles in Kannada films has been discharged from a private hospital. He was suffering from stomach pain for the last few days and was hospitalised for four days. After discharge, he is resting at his residence.

Ravishankar who is celebrating his 50th birthday next week was diagnosed with acidity. He has been advised rest by the Columbia hospital doctors where he was treated. Ravishankar had quit smoking sometime ago and it could be some withdrawl effect. Ravishankar (the borhter of Saikumar and Aiyappa) was a popular voice artiste in Telugu.

Even though Ravishankar made his Kannada film debut in 1991 from Halli Krishna Delhi Radha movie he became famous as an actor in Kannada after the film Veera Madakari. After that he has done some 50 films in Kannada including the most famous role of Armugam in Kempegowda. 

Actor-director is all set to play a prominent role in 'Duniya' Vijay starrer 'Kanaka'.

The shooting for 'Kanaka' is 50 percent complete and the team plans to shoot the final schedule of the film soon. Ravishankar will be playing a prominent role in the film.

R Chandru is directing the movie, apart from producing the film. Satya Hegade is the cameraman of the film, while Naveen Sajju has composed the songs for the film. Vijay, Rachita Ram, Manvita Harish, Sadhu Kokila,K P Nanjundi and others are playing prominent roles in the film.

Well known actor Ravishankar who is known for his versatile acting and dubbing, has turned singer with 'Jigar Thanda'. Ravishankar has sung a song called 'Idu Armugam Kote Kano' under the composition of Arjun Janya.

Not only in the film, but during the audio release of the film, Ravishankar came to the stage and sang the song. He also danced to the tunes of the film. Ravishankar got a huge song for rendering the song which is picturised on him in the film.

'Jigar Thanda' is being directed by Shiva Ganesh, while Rahul is the hero of the film.

ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ತೆಲುಗಿನ ಟಿವಿ ಚಾನೆಲ್ಲೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವೊಂದು ಪ್ರಸಾರವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆ ವೇಳೆ ತಮಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿದ ಕಿಚ್ಚ ಸುದೀಪ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ರವಿಶಂಕರ್, ಅದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೈ ಕನ್ನಡ.. ಜೈ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿ ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೂಗಿದರು.

ಸುದೀಪ್ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆ ದಿನವನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ರವಿಶಂಕರ್ ಅವರ ಫೋನ್ ರಿಸೀವ್ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಬೈ ಮಿಸ್ಟೇಕ್, ಅಣ್ಣನಿಗೆ (ಸಾಯಿಕುಮಾರ್) ಕಾಲ್ ಮಾಡೋಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಂತೆ. ನಂತರ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದಾಗ ಮೋಸ್ಟ್‍ಲೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ರೈ ಅವರ ಲೆಫ್ಟೋ.. ರೈಟೋ.. ಆಗಿ ನಟಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡರಂತೆ. ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ರೈ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನೇ ನಾನು ಮಾಡ್ತಿರೋದು ಎಂದಾಗ ಭಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡೆ. ಆಗ ಸುದೀಪ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹವೇ ಆ ಅಭಿನಯ ಬರೋಕೆ ಕಾರಣ. ನಂತರ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆರ್ಮುಗ ಎಂದೇ ಕರೆಯಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು ಎಂದು ನೆನಪಿನ ಬುತ್ತಿ ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ರವಿಶಂಕರ್.

ಅಂಥಾದ್ದೊಂದು ಸಾಹಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಆರ್ಮುಗಂ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯ ರವಿಶಂಕರ್. ಮಗ ಅದ್ವೈತ್ಗಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನ ಕ್ಯಾಪ್ ತೊಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತನಗೆ ಹೆಸರು, ಹಣ, ಖ್ಯಾತಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೀರೋ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ತಮ್ಮ ಕನಸು ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ರವಿಶಂಕರ್. ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಮೆರಿಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅದ್ವೈತ್, ರಂಗಭೂಮಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಡಾನ್ಸ್, ಫೈಟ್‌, ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಗೊತ್ತು ಆದರೆ ಅವೆಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅವನೊಬ್ಬ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ನಟ ಎನ್ನುವ ರವಿಶಂಕರ್, ತಮ್ಮ ಮಗನ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಲನ್ ಆದರೂ ಅಚ್ಚರಿಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಂತೆ ಆದರೆ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಯುಗಾದಿಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರ ಸೆಟ್ಟೇರಲಿದ್ದು, 2018ರ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಲಿದೆ.
