There were rumours that director Pavan Kumar of 'Lucia' fame would be dubbing the 'The Jungle Book' to Kannada in the coming days. But Pavan Kumar has rubbished such rumours saying that he is busy with his film and doesn't have time for other work.

This is what Pavan has said about the dubbing issue in his Facebook page:

Ya.. so.. media thinks I am acquiring the dubbing rights. NOPE... I AM NOT.

In principle i.d want to... but i am very busy with my film.. hence i will assist the crowd.. the audience in doing it.. but cant spearhead the project.

I am still following up with Disney.. but I.d want someone or a group to come fwd n do the work. I shall be there to help through.

Yes that is the score of Kannada in Bengaluru on Kannada new year day. Telugu film Gabbar Singh has 145 shows in multiplexes, English film Jungle book has 128 shows and Kannada film Jai Maruti 800 has 46.

Advance booking has been opened for all the movie in multiplex theaters. Sharan acted and most expected Kannada movie is facing competition from Telygu movie Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Jungle Book.

As per Book My Show on Thursday at 9.15 pm the lion share of screens is given to other languages in multiplex theaters. For Jungle book 128 shows has been given and for Gabbar Singh 145 shows has been allowed. For Kannada movie Jai Maruthi 800 only 46 shows has been given in all the multiplex theaters in Bengaluru. Kiragurina Gayyaligalu has been allotted 12 shows.

Manthi has been given shows in PVR Orion mall gold class for 12.05 pm and its price is Rs 549 for platinum and Rs 615 for platinum superior and for 9.15 pm show platinum class is Rs 690 and platinum superior is Rs 770!
