With many big films lining up for release in the next few weeks, there is a dearth of good theaters for many of the anticipated films in Majestic area in Bangalore. Now two of the films have finally managed to get theaters.

Shashank's 'Krishna Leela' which is being produced by Ajay Rao will be releasing in Kapali next week. The film will be replacing Vinay Rajkumar starrer 'Siddartha'. 'Siddartha' has managed to complete 50 days and will be making way for 'Krishna Leela' next week.

Puneeth Rajkumar's 'Ranavikrama' will be releasing in the second week of April and the film will be replacing 'Mr and Mrs Ramachari' in Santhosh. 'Mr and Mrs Ramachari' has completed 80 successful days in Santhosh and will be completing a century in the second week of April. Just after the film finishes the 100 day mark, 'Ranavikrama' will be replacing 'Mr and Mrs Ramachari'.

Meanwhile, many anticipate films are yet to get theaters. Dhananjay-Shruthi Hariharan starrer 'Raate' has been announced to release next week. But, the film has not managed to get a theater in K G Road. Likewise, Yogaraj Bhatt's 'Vaasthu Prakaara', Sudeep starrer 'Ranna' will also be releasing in April and the makers of the films are busy trying to find a suitable theaters for their films.

Ajay Rao is roping many stars for his upcoming film 'Krishna Leela', for which he is the producer. The film has Puneeth Rajkumar and Upendra a couple of songs. The songs were released by Darshan recently. Now Ajay has got the trailer of the film released by Yash.

Recently, the trailer of 'Krishna Leela' was released by Yash at his residence. Yash not only released the trailer of the film, but also reacted to the funny and intense moments of the trailer. Yash also wished Ajay Rao for turning producer and wished both Ajay as well as director Shashank the very best of luck for the film.

'Krishna Leela' is ready and the film is likely to release in the month of February.

Shashank directed Krishna-Leela is running away with the box office. It is the highest grossing film in Karnataka across all languages in the past week. The film released in 135 theatres and inspite of the Ugadi festival, world cup cricket fever, exam time in schools and the controversy over IAS officer DK Ravi's death hogging the prime time, ravi has collected Rs 3.5 crore in its first week.

According to trade pundits it is an extraordinary collection.  It is the top grosser of the last week in Karnataka beating all  other language movies. The only film that achieved this earlier was Mr & Mrs Ramachari which had outdone even Aamir Khan's PK on its release. Now Krishan Leela has increased its number of screens and will be screened in 160 theatres from the second week.

Looks like the name Krishna has become a synonym for success and whichever the films which had the name including 'Krishna-Leela', 'Krishnan Love Story' and others has been successful in the past. The latest to join the bandwagon is Ajay Rao and Amulya starrer 'Krishna-Rukku'.

'Krishna-Rukku' was released in the last week of February and is running to packed houses. The film is a remake of Telugu hit 'Uyyala Jampala' and is directed by Anil and produced by Uday Mehta. Sridhar Sambhram has composed the music for the film.

Ajay Rao, Amulya, Girija Lokesh, Shobharaj and others play prominent roles in the film.
