  • CCL Time Table: Bulldozers Have Tough Schedule

    The Celebrity Cricket League time table that is accessed by Chitraloka shows that it is a tough schedule for all the teams. Within 10 days all the teams play seven matches each. Then four of them will play the semifinals. The final will be played the same day as the finals. Thus, the teams making it to the finals will play 12 matches in 12 days! Karnataka Bulldozers have reached the finals five out of the last six times. They have won twice and been runners-up three times. 

    The first match of Karnataka Bulldozers is at 4 pm on December 10, Sunday against Bengal Tigers. They paly Kerala Strikers at 9 pm on December 12 and the following day they have a match against Chennai Rhinos again at 9 pm. The first match is in Trivandrum against Bengal. The matches against Kerala and Chennai is in Mysuru beore the home crowd. Only two matches will be played by Karnataka in its home ground. 

    Later they move to Hyderabad where they play only one match on December 17 against Bhojpuri Dhabangs at 4 pm. Finally they move to Ahmedabad where they play Telugu Warriors and Pinjab De Sher back-to-back on Wednesday and Thursday, December 20 and 21. The semi finals and finals are scheduled for December 22 

    Karnataka Bulldozers team are practicing under the captaincy of Sudeep in Bengaluru for the last one week. 

  • Karnataka Bulldozers Crush Chennai Rhinos

    The Karnataka Bulldozers headed by Sudeep has won their first match against Chennai Rhinos by 83 runs in the Celebrity Cricket League held at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Chennai Rhinos headed by actor Arya won the toss and elected to bat first. The team scored 210 runs and the Karnataka Bulldozers who batted second scored an easy 211 runs for 6 wickets with Dhruva and Rajeev giving a major score to the team.

    The Karnataka Bulldozers have won their first match of the tournament and will have to fight against Kerala Strikers on the 31st of January.

  • KB Loses Against TW in CCL Finals

    The Karnataka Bulldozers has lost the final match against the Telugu Warriors in the Celebrity Cricket League held in Hyderabad on Sunday. The Karnataka Bulldozers headed by Sudeep batted first and scored a good score of 207 runs for the loss of wickets. However, the Telugu Warriors easily scored 211 runs with the loss of just one wicket. Sachin Joshi emerged the highest scorer of the match by scoring 117 runs in just 49 balls.

    This is the second time that the Karnataka Bulldozers are losing in the final match of the Celebrity Cricket League. Though the Karnataka Bulldozers lost the match, the team has the credit of entering the finals for five times, which no teams have achieved so far.

  • Sudeep Film in April

    The shooting for Sudeep's film directed by KS Ravikumar was wrapped up on Thursday night. Only two songs have to be shot and it is scheduled for March. The film will be released in April. The shooting schedule of the two songs has not been finalised but it is speculated that Japan will be the location. As of now it is not confirmed.

    Sudeep will concentrate on CCL now and fly to Hyderabad this weekend. Karnataka Bulldozers will have to win the last league match against Telugu Warriors to move into the semi finals.

    Before shooting for the Ravikumar bilingual's remaining two songs Sudeep will get together with Real Star Upendra for the Oh My God remake. The Ravikumar film has been named Mudinja Iwana Pudi in Tamil but the Kannada title has not yet been finalised.

  • Sudeep to Give up Captaincy of Karnataka Bulldozers?

    Is Sudeep all set to give up captaincy of Karnataka Bulldozers from next year? This is one question that is haunting everybody who attended the press meet of the Karnatak Bulldozers on Friday evening.

    Sudeep along with the members of Karnataka Bulldozers and Ashok Kheny were present during the launch press meet of the team.
